[YEA] 01/31/2009: Brad from Phoenix, Arizona writes: "I just started seeing my warts about 2 months ago and got kinda worried. About a week ago I started reading about genital warts on the internet and it made me even more worried, thinking all i could do is go to the doctor to get rid of them. which i didnt want to unless i really really had to. Then I saw this site and read all the comments about using ACV. I didn't think that it would work for me but i thought i might as well try it. I used tissue and poured just a small amount of the ACV on it and taped it around all three of the warts just over night. I'm on the third day of it and they are almost shrunk down to nothing. first day they turned white or greyish, second day were pretty much all black, and now just about gone. I'm starting to just use a cuetip with the ACV for about 10 minutes a few times a day because surrounding area is kinda sore from it. im also hydrogen peroxide to clean it all and aloe and vitamin e lotion to help heal it. I'm taking multi-vitamins and garlic just to maybe help it a little. I'm sure within the next couple of days the warts will be completely gone. This website has helped me and i think the ACV will work for anyone."

[YEA] 01/30/2009: Bill from Philadelphia, Pa writes: "I've read about ACV for a long time and tried it a few times and must say it works. I'll caution you that a lot of this is speculation, but comprehensive info is hard to find on the internet since dr's seem content to charge for zapping and frying the nation's genitals.
First off, I became aware I had GW cause I spotted a pretty prominent one (almost the size of a pea) between my scrotum and thigh. Tried Aldara... nothing, so I actually just cut it off with sharp scissors.. it ain't been back... lol.. I started wondering if I had others I couldn't see though, so tried the ACV to see if anything turned white. I did find another flatish wart in almost the same place on the opposite side of my scrotum, a handful of real small ones on my shaft, and two nearly microscopic ones on the head of my penis... but the kicker is that almost the entirety of my scrotum (at least the spongy sort of adjustable tissue that expands and contracts in different temperatures) turned bright white.
I couldn't find any good way to tape anything to them, so I just took to dipping the entirety of my junk in a cup of acv for 30-45 minutes a night. First night, no probs.. 2nd, mild stinging.. 3rd.. stinging.. 4th.. STINGING.. 5th.. stinging so bad that I was sweating and begging god to make the clock move faster. The results though, were awesome. One of the larger warts is gone. The other is half its original size. The ones on the shaft and head developed black heads that fell off. I think they may need another go of the acv in a few days, but they're almost gone.. but again, the scrotum. I found dozens, probably hundreds of little warts I couldn't have otherwise detected. More wash off every morning, and for the first time in three years my scrotum doesn't itch and burn. The skin is going back to a beige color after 3 years of always looking red.
I'm 35 and had a lot of sex 12-15 years ago (before hpv was on the radar) so these are probably mostly all very old and established warts. It wasn't until a much more recent encounter that I developed the two I was able to notice, and they died quick. I don't kid myself. There are probably some I've missed and some stubborn ones, but what a dramatic difference. I plan to let all the scabs fall off in their own time, take a few days, and go back at it again.. The kind of tissue they're growing on seems to make a significant difference in how easy they are to kill. Scrotum and foreskin = easy. Tip of penis or urethra = stubborn. Take the pain, take the time to do it right, and take the embarassing step of telling your gf so she can take care of herself too, or you'll just get it right back again. Do yourself first, and then explain you've discovered a little problem you both share, but that you have a real good treatment too!
If you can see one, you have 5. If you can see two or three, you have dozens. If a careful examination shows 5 or 6, you're loaded with em. It's like spotting a flea on a dog. I say drown as broad an area as you can for as many days as you can stand the pain. Then spot treat for a couple more days.. then take a break for a week and go back at it to make sure they're all gone. Don't forget the insides of your things and the mysterious nacha/taint!"

[BETTER BUT NOT CURED] 01/30/2009: Bob from Baltimore, MD writes: "Have GW going on 12 years now. Done the whole dermatology routine from burning to freezing to Aldara/etc. Nothing seems to work - freezing is only temporary. So now I'm trying other cures and gave ACV a try. Now, my GW are in the groin area / top of the shaft and can't really be counted. They are more like three separate pinkish masses. Anyhow, I soaked some cotton balls with ACV and applied to the affected areas and taped them overnight. No burning. Nothing. In the morning, I shower and then apply Vitamin E which I keep on during the day. I've done this for five straight nights now. I actually switched the type of ACV after the second evening. Originally it was a generic supermarket brand. I then went to a health store and purchased the unfiltered, organic type.
I took some digital photos of the area and looked at them on the computer screen. Some minor irritation to the whole area. Definitely a bunch of tiny new ones have popped up. Roughly 5% of the area is turning black but that's about it. I didn't expect a miracle cure but I was certainly hoping for better results considering all the stories I've read. I plan to take the weekend off and then begin again - this time mixing the ACV with crushed aspirin. Hopefully this will produce better results. On top of the ACV treatment, I've begun to take a one-a-day vitamin, Vitamin E (1200 I.U.) and Elderberry Extract (1500mg) to help fight the HPV. I realize this will take time but I would really like to see more improvement in combating the physical warts. Any advice would greatly be appreciated. Thank you."
02/07/2009: Bob from Baltimore, MD replies: "Week 2. I now realize this will not be the miracle, overnight sensation as some have experienced but I am cautiously optimistic. This week I made a paste of ACV and crushed Bayer aspirin. I applied the paste to the affected areas and then proceeded to repeat what I did in the first week (above). Yes, I feel the burn. The ACV/aspirin paste did sting for about an hour but after 5 nights, around 35% of the area is turning black and beginning to scab. I plan to see my dermatologist this week and he'll do another freeze session. After a week of letting that heal, I plan to go back to the ACV/aspirin paste. I will be back in a few weeks for a further update. Wish me luck...."

[BETTER BUT NOT CURED] 01/26/2009: Flustered But Hopeful from Podunk, Kansas writes: "i have been using ACV for a few days now. the first day i did a tampon soaked in full ACV and placed it in my vaginal canal i left it there for an hour. after removing it everything was white that i could see. i then repeated it again a few hours later this time leaving it in for 2hours and more whiteness appeared. i also have 4 warts on the entrance to my vagina and have been using a q-tip in acv applied to them as i am not wanting this area to be totally sore. other areas fromt he tampon around my vagina are sore/ raw from the ACV contact.. this was the first day...wednesday
now on thursday i tried the soaked tampon again and had it in there for 10-15 minutes as it hurt way bad i mean ouch! i was in pain so i took it out. i decided to take a break this day just spot treated with acv and tea tree oil to the outside ones that i have. the tea tree oil has seemed to make them bigger a little bloated as i think it is getting absorbed by the warts so i am sticking with this . i have heard that tea tree oil has removed warts for others.
friday i did a douche with ACV and this burnt too not as ad as the tampon was more bearable but boy did it make a mess. lol. i was still spot treating this i am assuming will take longer than the direct application but eventually i think will work it is in a hard place and i can't quite get and cotton ball or tape to stay put and they are very small the 4 of them. SOOOO....
on to saturday i did a spot treatment as much as possible kinda letting it rest but in the evening/night i started to get a itch in my vaginal opening. not sure if its cause it is cause the acv is dryingme out or what or from the burns that i have now. eaither way i can only feel relieved from it if i apply vitanmin E on the entrance and inside. when i did this it felt better .
sunday this is day 5 and i did another tampon soaked in the ACV and left it there for 1 hour it burnt jsut like the first time once again everything turned white. i also did a hydrogen peroxide douche before this to clean out any material in there before the tampon no chunkies have been coming out but the last few days i have been having a discharge. not sure if it is the skin from the warts or not. but i did have to apply more vitimin E as i am itchy still. IS ANYONE HAVING THIS PROBLEM GIRLS!!! ITS DRIVING ME NUTS I HOPE THIS IS NOT GONNA LAST! the vitamin E really helps sooth it and when i felt around in my canal with a latex glove on i didn't feel as many warts in there so i think i am making progress. i will mention that i have had these internal warts for about 6 years and they have never spread. i do not have any on the outside of my crotch just the very opening.
i am hopeing that the tea tree oil and the vitimin E are adding to the wart removal process. i heard of other rmoving their warts with the TTO and someone said they removed their warts with the Vitimin E so im using them all just in case. i will take this proceedure lightly as i a do not want to hurt myself too bad. i do not like pain especially in this area!!! i will post later to update you all."
02/02/2009: Flustered But Hopeful from Podunk, Kansas replies: "soooo i have been using vitimin e oil on my intrnal genital warts for a week and this is what is helping me!!!!!!!! i am so relieved. i just take a q-tip and apply to the area inside my vaginia and i can feel that they are almost gone. getting smoother everday. i read this in the warts section that many people cleared their regular warts or plantar warts in 2 weeks with vitamin E oil. so i thought maybe this is what would work for me and well it did!!!! i am so happy that this is working cause the ACV was not for me. thank you thank you so very much to earth clinic and everyone else on here."

[YEA] 01/26/2009: Mike from Southwest, Louisiana writes: "I noticed a couple of very small, flat white spots on the shaft of my penis a few months ago. I didn't think much of it until they persisted so I went to the dermatologist so that he could take a look at what I feared were GW's. He said that they didn't look like anything to be concerned about, so I was obviously very relieved. He also mentioned that a good way to test is to put white vinegar on any suspected spots and that they would turn white within a minute or two if they were indeed warts.
I sorta forgot about them until one day I noticed that I actually had white vinegar in the house so I decided to give it a try. To my horror the spots (and a couple of other spots) turned bright white after a few minutes. I obvioulsy panicked and made a Dr appointment to have them frozen off. I then started doing web research and found that freezing them might not be the best option. I then luckily found this website!
I did the spot treatment method in which I taped small, wart-sized pieces of cotton ball which were soaked in ACV to the warts. I pretty much left the soaked cotten pieces on 24/7 for three days. I would take them off to shower and rinse with hydrogen peroxide after the shower. They turned white after Day 1, grey by Day 2, and began falling off by Day 3. HOWEVER, leaving the soaked cotton on 24/7 was a mistake. It did get rid of the warts, BUT seriously burned a lot of skin around them as well. I began using vitamin E oil (by piercing the gelcaps with a pin) and all eventually healed up. This was about 2 months ago.
Earlier this week I noticed a few more spots so I decided to check with white vinegar again, and indeed several spots illuminated. I suspect that I missed a couple of small warts with my previous 'spot' treatment, and irritated or spread them through contact. This time I am using a somewhat broader method by using a swatch of paper towel soaked in ACV to cover a larger area (hoping that I don't miss any this time). I left the 1" x 1" swatch taped to the shaft of my penis yesterday (Day 1) for about 8 hours, and when I removed it there were several more spots that I had not noticed before which had turned white, and a few which had already turned black. After showering last night, I rinsed with HP and put vitamin E oil on overnight. Repeated the 1" x 1" swatch this morning (Day 2), and will keep you posted.
I have also been taking vitamins since I first noticed the warts a few months ago. I take a vitamin e, stress B complex (lots of B vitamins, folic acid, and vitamin C), and multivitamin daily. I'm hoping that is helping internally with the virus itself."

[SIDE EFFECTS] 01/23/2009: Surf from Down South, Central America writes: "Apple cider vinegar for genital warts.
Hi. I'm going through a divorce and have been 'dating' since moving out of the house. I noticed what looked like a couple of genital warts in December.
My girlfriend had to take a trip, so I thought I'd give ACV a try. I didn't find this site until after I'd botched the treatment. I drink a little ACV everyday, so it didn't occur to me how strong it really is. I soaked a cotton pad that was in contact with my shaft and head for about 2 nights, then just a pad on my shaft for a couple more nights. Needless to say it was painful and I've developed infections under the head, on each side of the glans, I believe it's called. I didn't use HP nor did I use antiboitic creams, until after I stopped with the ACV, which is when the infections developed. I am now using a couple of different creams that seem to be slowly working in clearing up what look like acne pimples. The ACV also burned some of the skin near the bottom of my shaft, which turned black, then white, and the white is almost all gone. The new skin seems very sensitive and sometimes develops pimples that go away in a day or two. I'm hoping that everything clears up soon. Has anyone had any similar experiences? Any advice? I plan to keep up with the creams until everything is cleared up. I'll post my results. Thanks. I'm not sure how I'll tell my girlfriend. What I've got now looks a hell of a lot worse than a couple of warts. "
01/28/2009: Mike from Westland, MI replies: "I had similar results when I used ACV. The vinegar cleared about half of the warts, but did not affect the ones that looked like pimples. I also had to stop the ACV treatment because of scaring which I still have. I have been using tea tree oil which has been making them much smaller, but the stubborn basterds still won't fully go away. What creams are you using that have been working for you?"
01/29/2009: Surf from Down South, Central America replies: "Well, I finally broke down and went to see a doctor, who's actually more like an old friend, so I felt comfortable talking to him about my situation. He said that I should have come to him earlier. I've got to stop using creams for a two days and then go get a swab sample of the white tissue on my shaft analyzed. He said that it looks like the ACV burnt through a couple of layers of sensitive skin. May have to take some antibiotics or use a cream. A neosporin type cream seemed to cause some irritation to the sensitive skin areas, after using it for a while. He said, that in the end, the white skin area could have a small scar, worst case scenario. I feel much better having a doctor now supervising my botched treatment. I just hope that after all that I've been through, I'll finally get everything cleared up. My girlfriend has been pretty cool about the whole thing. It was hard breaking the news. It's even harder not being able to be with her sexually. I know the whole subject is pretty embarassing, but I wish I that would hsve consulted the doc sooner. He's into natural treatments, too. Probably could have overseen the whole ACV treatment regimen and saved me alot of problems, in the end."

01/23/2009: Lisa from far far away, Indiana replies: "it could be and very well so that the new warts that you are seeing and believing to be spreading are actually warts that were invisible to your eye. you can have warts and not even see them. this was my experience. just keep at it. take breaks if you need to. remember that everyones experience is different. [QUESTION] 01/21/2009: Katie from Guelph, ON writes: "Apple cider vinegar: Trying for the first time tonight and praying it works. Was just diagnosed today and am mortified. I have been dating someone for the last 3 months. How do I tell him without him running for the hills!"
01/21/2009: Mauro from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil replies: "Hi Katie, Don't worry about this. The truth is, these warts (in my opinion) have nothing to do sex. I'm a guy and was terrified to find several on my anus. No sexual activity I ever engaged in could explain that. ACV got rid of ALL of them. Most of it was gone on the third and forth day. One was stubborn, but I kept going. Don't overdue it and let it become too sensitive/irritated. If it is, take a break one day and start all over. You may also gently scratch the outer surface of them once you have done this for a few days, and keep going on until they are gone. Trust me, it works!"
02/10/2009: Ash from Miami Beach, FL replies: "I completely agree with you that these things are not necessarily transmitted sexually. I have been married for 5 years and I assure you that I did not live a promiscuous life before him. It's extremely strange because he does not have any GW's AT ALL...and I sure as hell have not been sleeping around in the last 6 months that these annoying things started popping up (my mate solemnly swears that he didn't either). I got one about 6 months ago. It started out as a little pimple actually. I like to keep myself hair free so the head of the pimple was constantly being shaved off. One day I noticed that the pimple had morphed into a freaky little thing that I thought was a skin tag. Gradually smaller ones started developing in a little area around my anus where I had minor razor burn. I definitely don't think I got this sexually. I was embarrassed to go to my gyno, but there have been even more developing around my anus area recently so I knew I had to get it checked. Obviously I was diagnosed with "sexually transmitted" HPV and informed that these little 'skin tags' were in fact condylomas (GW's).
I was prescribed this uber expensive cream called Aldara. Thank god I have good insurance because 24 doses costs $720! Thankfully I only had to pay $25. It was really stupid of me to fill the script because after I researched the active ingredient I learned that more times than not Aldara fails to work completely, and in many cases has caused patients a permanent weakening of the immune system! Not to mention there are widespread cases of serious side-effects such as severe flu symptoms, permanent skin scarring, infertility and anaphylactic shock! (I research pharmaceuticals for a living, so I'm not talking out of my arse here).
Anyway, I'll take ACV please.
I know I might be rambling, but I'm elated that I found this site and this cure. I did my first treatment tonight. I had to think creatively in order to treat all the areas. I ended up taking two tampon cottons, soaking them in ACV then adhering them--one in the front, one in the back-- with large bandaids (I'm glad I'm hair free.) I then used a plastic publix bag (to stop any dripping) and wrapped it around the bandaging. Then I put on an oversized pair of granny panties and proceeded to watch my shows for a couple hours! It was horribly stinky, and definitely burned a bit, but they turned all white and I noticed one that already seems like it's 'lifting'. I plan on doing it again tomorrow before my morning shower, and again at night.
I wish you guys all the best :D"

[YEA] 01/17/2009: Darrell from Perth, Western Australia writes: "Well....I am sold on ACV. After a drastic attempt using petty spurge, which worked, but which removed all of the skin and the warts in one go, but which had them coming back in much-increased numbers, possibly due to the extensive skin damage, I decided to use ACV. I thought it was never going to work, and it probably took the best part of three weeks, but it DEFINITELY WORKED!
The warts did not turn black, though some became rather greyish before they finally came off.
I used some steroid cream and some antibiotic ointment on the area to aid healing and prevent infection.
If any more appear I shall just keep up with the ACV. There was a bit of stinging but, by and large, it wasn't too bad at all. And, after being told by an "expert" that ACV "won't work", I am pleased to report that it DEFINITELY DOES! You have to give your skin a break to prevent too much damage, but at least you can judge it fairly well.
I didn't even have to bother with cotton-wool. Just used carefully-folded wads of toilet paper which stayed in position all night.
Thank God for this site, and I'm not religious!"

i have a ques, does any one know how to diagnose internal warts? so far i can see inside my vagina, i dont see any bad color or skin. i have pap next saturday.hopefully it will come normal.pray for me and it will be helpful if any further advise can be given."

01/14/2009: Darrell from Perth, Western Australia writes: "When trying to deal with things like anal warts which, let's face it, are not exactly easy to see clearly, I found the following approach to be helpful.
I used a long, narrow cheval mirror which I placed on the floor and squatted over it, with my back towards the centre of the room (and thus the lights). This had the effect of opening up the anal area as well as could be done, but also directing the reflected overhead light exactly onto the area. It gave me a clear, well-lit view of exactly what I was dealing with.
The long mirror makes it easier to adjust your position to maximize the lighting, without having to change the angle of the mirror, or the position of your rear-end.Also the butt-cheeks are well spread apart, freeing both hands for applying medication etc.
I just found it all so much easier once I had adopted that method."

[YEA] 01/14/2009: David from Anaheim, California writes: "I have posted here before when I first started trying this several months ago. At first, I was just dealing with one on the right side of my shaft that was about 1/8" wide. After a while, some of it turned black and part of it fell off. I stopped after that to let it heal. Well.. there was also one on the left side of the shaft that was pretty small and I wasn't doing anything with that one.
A couple days ago, I decided to go at them.. both. I put some ACV on a piece of cotton (2 pieces) and applied each piece of cotton to each wart and then wrapped my shaft with that medical tape thread stuff. I left it on over night. Took it off in the morning. Both were white. I left the bandage off to give them some air. They both started to and eventually turned black. The smaller one fell off a couple days ago. The larger one.. that one stayed around and itched like crazy until last night.. I guess I was itching and it was ready and popped off. SWEET! That SOB has been there for about 10 years. Finally got rid of em.. for now. This stuff works.
Just let them breathe for a while after you remove the cotton and ACV. Also.. the ACV WILL irritate/burn the skin around the wart if you put a huge piece of cotton filled with ACV over it..... so try to make the cotton piece about the size of the wart. Also, don't go for really long periods of time. That and if some burning around the wart happens, dont put any ACV there for a day or 2 and let the skin around the wart heal up. You don't want to be burning that skin over and over and over.. let it breathe. Good Luck!"

01/13/2009: Fiona from San Francisco, CA writes: "Ok so I just have one small wart on the opening of my vagina... it's very small. At first I thought it was a skin tag, but I was diagnosed with HPV last summer and that is when it appeared. My doctor said it looked like it was from the HPV. I was totally ecstatic when I saw this site! Everyone is so awesome for posting their stories, so that no one has to feel alone in this!
Basically I've been trying the apple cider vinegar treatment for 3 days now and nothing has happened. The wart has turned white, but it's not turning black or anything. I've been using a bandaid and soaked cotton ball on the wart for long periods of time, usually at least 5 hours during the day and then sleeping with it on at night. I'm surprised it hasn't turned black yet, it shows no signs of falling off.
In the mean time the rest of my skin is getting pretty burned and damaged from all the apple cider treatment. I'm not sure what to do, or how to make my wart come off. Also, I've not been using Hydrogen Peroxide like some people, just ACV. Does the HP really make a big difference in the treatment?"
[YEA] 01/15/2009: Fiona from San Francisco, CA replies: "So I gave it a few more days and the ACV definitely did work! I think I was expecting it to work in 3 days because it did for some, but everyones bodies are different. Mine worked in about 5 days. I really started to see a difference using a Q-Tip instead of a cotton ball. Since I only had one very small wart, the cotton ball burned a lot of my good skin. My wart was at the very opening of my vagina which was an extremely hard spot to get a band-aid to stick. Instead what I did was applied ACV to the end of a q-tip and held it onto the wart for just about 10 minutes every day. The direct pressure on the wart itself made all the difference.
Don't freak out if your wart does not turn black, mine didn't. It stayed white, and eventually got smaller, until I could just scrape it away. Today, it appeared to be completely gone. I'm hoping it stays gone and that I don't have another out-break in the future, but if I do, at least I know I have this wonderful site to post my ordeal on. You are all beautiful & strong people for getting through this!"

[QUESTION] 01/10/2009: Mary from Main St., Canada writes: "Okay, girls, I need your help on this one (regarding internal warts). Guys, this might be too much info for ya!
I got my warts zapped twice w/ liquid nitrogen, but they came back (note: not as much, though! Seems to have helped).
Well, after two months without sex with my boyfriend (long-distance AND I was out of the country for a month!), we finally did the dirty.
Ohhh, Lord, I knew something wasn't right-- it hurt, right up against my vaginal walls. Ughhh. I had a feeling I had internal warts, even though the external ones were gone.
I've been reading here about the extreme methods people go through-- keeping apple cider vinegar on for 24 hours or overnight. I'm trying to be really gentle because I don't want to do any damage/scarring.
I soaked a small cotton pad with 2 parts water, 1 part ACV and rolled it up and stuck it in my vagina for two hours. I took it out and there were definitely some white areas. Gross.
I'm planning on doing 2 hours for three times a day (maybe less... don't want to overdo it-- although is it less effective if you spread it out like that?)
QUESTIONS:
- The tampon thing, does it work if you insert a tampon normally or do you need it closer to the opening of the vagina b/c the warts are there? How many other girls have tried this? I know Lola has, but I want to hear if others have, too.
- Has anyone had a wart outbreak after a cut in their skin? It seems like every time my boyfriend and I have sex, my perineum tears (the area between the vagina and the anus). Instead of healing, I started getting a growth in its place, like a half an inch long. That's when I was diagnosed. I feel like that's what caused these outbreaks by allowing the virus to enter or something.
Anyways! Any help would be wonderful."
01/12/2009: Mike from Detroit, MI replies: "I wouldn't be too much help on your first question, but you are right about your second. When you have a cut on your skin, small or large, it makes it much easier for warts to start growing there. I have found that by constantly applying hydrogen peroxide, and vitamin E oil, 2-3 times a day, helps a lot from preventing further growths. Also try to keep the area as dry as possible."
01/18/2009: Mary from Main St., Canada replies: "Reporting back on this--
I didn't have any conclusive evidence with the apple cider vinegar when used on internal genital warts.
I used a diluted solution with a tampon for 6 hours (broken up into 2 parts) for 2 days, plus put ACV on cotton balls and stuffed it into the opening of my vagina. I didn't see any discharge or any indication that the ACV was working, so I stopped because it hurt too badly.
The ACV also burned my skin and the inside of my vagina-- I went to the free clinic to see if they could zap any warts and when the doctor put the speculum in, I was practically screaming because I was so tender.
I've also been taking so many vitamins: B-complex, garlic, beta carotene, multivitamin, echinacea. I've kept up with this regimen.
Finally, yesterday I found a liquid vitamin E at Wegmans, a supermarket. Instead of putting the drops under my tongue as directed, I've been laying on my back on my bed and insert the dropper into my vagina-- this way, the vitamin E can go far in, perfect for those hard-to-reach warts.
I think my warts are getting better-- when I insert the dropper or feel around with some toilet paper, it doesn't hurt as much as it used to.
On a side note, my external warts haven't been back since, thank God. Not sure why that is.
Hope this provides some extra ideas!"
01/18/2009: Mary from Main St., Canada replies: "I also forgot to mention that when I was doing the tampon treatment, I was getting a pinkish discharge, which I assume was blood mixed with something else, not the discharge the other Earth Clinic users had talked about. This was scary, so that was another reason why I stopped the tampon treatment."

[YEA] 01/09/2009: Karl from Las Vegas, NV writes: "i started using ACV for my GW 3 days ago, and everything is working like you guys said it would! they turned white, and now they are black. i used ACV, and a little pice of cotton ball... I am also taking alot of vitamins (E, C, multivitamin... etc.) and running and exercising every day... so pretty much doing everything im suposed to.
My doctor said i have I have Condylomata acuminata. and when i was looking at different kind of warts on internet, mine just looked different! mine looks like a bug bite... its about the size of pumpkin seed and just red most of the time... idk... anyways, i just DONT see how this thing is just gona fall off... so if anyone had something like that and could help me, i would really appreciate it!!!"
01/10/2009: Unfair from Jhb, South Africa replies: "I have tried the acv for weeks, and i couldnt stand it anymore, was actually crying from the pain, i would fear to go to bed at night, cause thats when i taped the acv cotton pad to myself.when i took it off it would throb for hours. the thing is it worked but so slow that i lost the determination to carry on.
mine was pretty bad, it started off as small little bumps and i left it, but after a surgery i had i was in shock to what i witnessed down there, it became disgusting thick coliflower clusters just by the opening of my vagina, i was horrified.
but in anyway i decided to buy 100% tca, and was very scared to use it the 1st time, but now im so happy that i did, it doesnt burn as much as the acv and you leave it on for 2 to 3 min i leave it on for 5 to make sure the buggers get killed. then you take a shower was the remaining off and you will start peeling in 1 to 2 days, you do this every 2nd day, youll see it getting smaller and smaller without any effort.but if your considering this rather do it on the clusters and big ones and dont do it inside just on the outside you can really hurt yourself, i would never have thought in a million years that i would use acid down there....but things like this drive you to do crazy things..."
EC: TCA = Trichloroacetic Acid. More about it on WebMD.
01/12/2009: Mike from Detroit, MI replies: "Karl from Vegas, From what you described that kind of sounds like the type I have. I started with acv and got rid of about 50% of the warts, but the ones that looked like bug bites were barely affected. I have tried aldera, acid burn, freeze off, home wart remover, and nothing seemed to work on those.
I did a lot of research and found it is best to attack the virus inside as well as outside. Start taking FOLIC ACID, GARLIC PILLS, MULTIVITAMINS, and ECHINACEA. Also apply TEA TREE OIL and VITAMIN E OIL to the skin 2-3 times a day. Also get a lot of sleep and drink a lot of water. This method will take about 3-6 weeks depending on your body. It sounds like a lot but this really works and will only cost you $40-$50. I had around 50 warts, and after 3 years I am almost wart free, stick with it and you will too. Good luck!"

[YEA] 01/06/2009: Wil from Wherever, Fl, USA writes: "I got what I believe to be GWs after having rough sex leaving my penis chaffed. I put neosporin cream on the chaffed spots and they healed. I later felt some bumps around the vagina of the girl I was having sex with. She went to two different Gynos and was diagnosed with skin tags. I then later noticed some small bunmps appearing in the same area that experienced the chaffing. I applied acv by taking a round flat cotton swab, soaking it in acv and using medical tape to secure it to the shaft. I left it on over night and in the morning there were some white areas/clusters and other bumpy areas that didnt turn any color but got bumpy and rough. Within another day or two the areas that turned white had come off in the shower. I'm still not positive that what turns white is definitely GWs but I dont care. Now the other area is rough and bumpy but doesnt turn any color when acv is applied. I'm now wrapping my entire penis with the flat cotton rounds soaked in acv. Im gonna leave it on for 4-5 hours just to see if anything else turns white. If it doesnt I feel like its probably just some type of irritation or scabbing. Thats my story."

01/04/2009: Adr from Dayton, Ohio USA writes: "I have been suffering with outbreaks for nearly 11 years with GW. It is the most embarrassing thing ever! I have tried all the prescription meds, and they are horribly painful! After reading several of these posts, and seeing the Side Effects section, my recommendation to all of you using the ACV treatment, is to be absolutely sure that the ACV is only applied to the GW and trying to avoid the skin all together. I know that is what is highly recommended when using the prescriptions. My first time having an outbreak, the doctor applied a GW remover (acid) in the office and instructed me to go home in 1 hour or so, and wash off. Well I fell asleep. After waking up, I remembered and washed off. The horrible side effect was that my anus had swollen so bad that I couldn't have a BM and became constipated!!! My mom just laughed at me...but it was horrible! I am so glad that I found this website/blog. I was actually searching for homemade shampoo recipes and just happened to see this link for ACV GW... I am definitely going to try the ACV treatment, being very careful! I hate having them, and thanks to an unfaithful high school sweetheart, I will always remember him!!!! Has anyone who has had a successful try with this remedy had any additional outbreaks? I know that GW's are a virus, which is 'suppose' to always be in your system and can appear at any time. And for women who are pregnant or PMS time, you can have an outbreak and unfortunately if your pregnant, they don't recommend using the acid treatments because they aren't sure of if the chemicals are absorbed into the body and cause the fetus to be affected. That was a horrible 9 months for!!"

[YEA] 01/04/2009: Jason from Cleveland, OH writes: "I used apple cider vinegar to cure my genital warts and they were gone in 4 days!!! It was the first thing I tried and I was amazed with my results. I did the cotton ball dipped in apple cider vinger and ten taped it over the warts. While I was doing this I was taking 3 to 4 400mg pills of Vitiman E per day. After night one they were all white. After night 2 they were all black (which means they are close to dead) I took the next night off then did it again the following 2 nights and they were gone. However apple cider vinigar is an acid and it can cause damage to your shaft. So don't rush and when you are done with the acv treatment use neosporin and apply vitamin E directly on your skin. You can break the Vitamin E pill with a toothpick and will ooze out. do this for 3 or 4 more days and everything will be back to normal within 10 days."

[YEA] 01/03/2009: Sarah from New york, New york writes: "I recently discovered a small growth on the inside of my vagina, and within a month there were two more. I was almost certain they were warts, so I looked up home remedies on the internet and came across this site. I read all the positive feedback and hoped that it would work for me too, and it did! I applied the vinegar onto the affected area, and immediately all of them, even ones I couldnt see, turned white. It stung just a bit, and I did experience some throbbing, but nothing even close to unbearable discomfort. I left a wad of cotton with vinegar on it for about four hours, and then removed it and went to bed. The next morning the little ones, the ones invisible to the naked eye had turned black, and the one i first discovered was disintegrating.. I couldnt believe it! So I decided that I must give my feedback on this site too, as its such an embarassing issue, and this is such an effective cure! Thank you to all who have posted here."

[YEA] 01/03/2009: Drew from Savannah, Georgia writes: "Apple Cider Vinegar cured Genital Warts....I started this treatment five days ago and have a 90% success rate so far....I had a bunch of warts completely circling my anal area....The first night, I soaked a paper towel and left it on for a few hours....the second night, I applied a soaked cotton ball...I could only do this about 30 mins due to the burning....the next two nights I was able to keep the cotton ball applied for less than ten minutes - the stinging was pretty unbearable....I didn't do anything the fifth night except clean it with HP and apply some lotion w/aloe vera (I also used the lotion and HP between each of the treatments during the day).
I'm gonna wait one more day before I continue the treatment...the area was real sore and tender from the ACV "burning" the area - no visible damage, just very tender....I'm thinking a couple of more treatments on the few remaining warts and I should be ready to go.
I can't believe how well this worked - the stinging was bad, but not near as bad as the stigma attached to having the warts.... I was way too embarrassed to go to the doctor and was just hoping these things would go away on their own - they didn't. Anyhow, try it...it works!"
