"Genital warts (or Condyloma, Condylomata acuminata, or venereal warts) is a highly contagious sexually transmitted infection caused by some sub-types of human papillomavirus (HPV). It is spread through direct skin-to-skin contact during oral, genital, or anal sex with an infected partner. Genital warts are the most easily recognized sign of genital HPV infection. They can be caused by strains 6, 11, 30, 42, 43, 44, 45, 51, 52 and 54 of genital HPV; types 6 and 11 are responsible for 90% of genital warts cases. Most people who acquire those strains never develop warts or any other symptoms. HPV also causes many cases of cervical cancer; types 16 and 18 account for 70% of cases; however, the strains of HPV that cause genital warts are not linked to the strains that cause cancer.

Genital warts often occur in clusters and can be very tiny or can spread into large masses in the genital or penis area. In women they occur on the outside and inside of the vagina, on the opening (cervix) to the womb (uterus), or around the anus. They are approximately as prevalent in men, but the symptoms may be less obvious. When present, they usually are seen on the tip of the penis. They also may be found on the shaft of the penis, on the scrotum, or around the anus. Rarely, genital warts also can develop in the mouth or throat of a person who has had oral sex with an infected person." (Wikipedia)

GENITAL WART ADVICE

03/15/2009: Overthis from Phoenix, Arizona writes: "Reading some previous posts, I would like to give some friendly advice. I work in the medical field so I have spoken to a few doctors about the HPV & many are suprised that ACV worked! But I also had many questions answered too! Just so I could be clear on how to deal with genital warts.

So, here goes:

1.) You CAN NOT spread the warts to other areas of your body. If it is the genital strain, its stays there. You also can not usually spread to your mouth as that is yet another strain of HPV. So, for those people worring about that, relax! I see that many people put the ACV on their mouths & were freaked that they saw little white bumps, but be aware, as when they test you using vinegar, even a regular bump can turn white. Also, the small pores around & right inside your mouth are sensitive, they will react to the vinegar, so don't automatically assume you have warts there. Get checked!

2.) Many people say they treated the warts without seeing a doctor. Please get checked. Yes, it is an embarassment. But some of the strains cause cancer. Not just in women, with cervical cancer. But men can also get rectal cancer. So, for your own safety, see a doctor. Just remember, that just because, there are no warts, does not mean there is nothing else going on with your body.

3.) Shaving will NOT spread the warts unless you cut yourself, so just shave carefully & you will be fine. Also, even if you do cut your self or get razor burn, cleance the area & keep using the Tea Tree oil after shaving. This will kill any germs, stop infection & any new spread of warts.

4.) For those people freaking out & using lysol on their pants. Going to extreme measures to kill anything that might be on them or their clothes. CALM DOWN, the stress and worry is not helping. Yes, be hygienic, be clean, but don't crazy trying to kill what isn't even there. Regular washing of clothes, bedding & whatnot is good enough to kill germs.

5.) Also, SHOWER SOAPS & GELS, DO NOT SPREAD WARTS. Don't believe averything that you read. This was one of the questions I had about the warts. And 3 different doctors from my work, confirmed that it is NOT TRUE. The spead from cuts & spread of the virus that causes it. Another reason you should speak to your doctor, have all your questions ready & ask! Get the right information.

I was just wanted to bring those points up so that maybe some others can relieve a little of their stress dealing with HPV. I would also say that if ACV doesn't work right away, don't give up! Give it time & soon you could be wart free & on the way to recovery. I wish you all the best."

EC: Thank you for clarifying. We removed the post with misinformation.

03/15/2009: YAY to ACV from Much Better, NY replies: "I know I'm going a little overboard but by nature I am a clean freak and I spray everything with Lysol even if me or my kids have colds! I didn't see this as being different! Since I live in a house with one bathroom that we girls share I can not help but be very cautious. But thanks though for your post because it did put me at ease!"

08/09/2009: Jeff from Anaheim, Ca replies: "If everything has failed for you and the wart has returned after using ACV, Aspirin, and Castor Oil,

I recommend you try Elderberry extract and green tea extract together. I have been using it for 4 days topically and internally and seen really good results. I had one wart turn black. The other warts just shrank and are now below the skin and getting smaller the more times I use the drops. I also take a few drops under the tongue a few times a day. I think in 2-3 weeks I should be close to eliminated them all.

With ACV it was too painful and took a week just for it to heal. The elderberry and green tea method is painfree. Women will really like this method.

Both are antivirals and anti-cancer.

The brands I have been using are from Henry's Market:

Elderberry (sambucus nigra)
other ingrediants: grain alcohol (40-50% by vol), deionized water

Green Tea (90%polyphenols, 50% EGCG)
Other ingrediants: deionized water, vegetable glycerin, honey, luo han guo

I put it on almost every 3 hours. It seems to get absorbed into the skin very quickly. Elderberry contains alcohol which may help the absorption process.

Good luck."

ACV, ASPIRIN, VIT E, TEA TREE OIL

1 YEA

[YEA]  08/08/2009: Lotus_flower from Bentonville, Ar, USA writes: "I am a nurse, and I just found out I have GW from HPV. I went to the doctor and I was prescribed a topical acid. First of all, that with insurance cost me 130 dollars, and I damn near passed out. But, I wanted the GW gone and probably would have paid anything. I began the treatment as directed. It burns and it is imperative not to get any on the healthy skin, which is difficult and adds to the anxiety of the whole thing. After a month and a half, it had worked-but it wasn't all gone. After reading on this site about ACV, I thought I really can't go wrong-I've waited over a month, been in pain for a while. I went to the store and got the following: vitamin E oil, pure tea tree oil, 325 mg aspirin and apple cider vinegar.

Make a paste with the ACV and aspirin. I had eyeballed it to make the right consistency. Add a few drops of vitamin E to the mix with a dropper. Apply it to the area and leave it on for a half hour and try it twice a day. You can apply tea tree oil all day if you want-it has penetrating power and the best part: takes away pain!!

I did the other treatment for a month and a half, and the result was sorta better-for 130 dollars.

I did the ACV treatment 3 times, and the area is COMPLETELY CLEAR after 3 treatments-for 10 dollars.

This doesn't harm healthy skin, and there's hardly any uncomfortable moments. I didn't think it would work, I admit. I was wrong, way wrong! I can't wait to go to the doctor in 2 days-he'll tell me that the treatment worked, and I get to say, "I have a confession...it was ACV!" I'm sure the look on his face will be priceless!

Hang in there all, there IS hope!! :)"

ACV, CRUSHED ASPIRIN, CASTOR OIL

8 YEA
1 WORKED TEMPORARILY
1 SIDE EFFECT
1 QUESTION

[SIDE EFFECTS]  08/05/2009: Gwonme from Cincinnati, Oh writes: "I used a paste of 40 crushed aspirin, 1/2 tblspn each of tea tree oil and Castor oil, and 1 tblspn of ACV. I applied liberally to the bumps, covered and left for two hours. I cleaned the area and reapplied then slept. In the morning I cleaned it and many of the spots were turning white/gray or had fallen off during cleaning. I left the area clean for about 5 hours then applied some Vit E oil, slept on that. The second morning I reapplied the paste to areas that did not appear to be cleared up. That afternoon I cleaned the area. Almost all the spots were gone, but the area was raw and bleeding. I applied a combo of Vit E and Tea Tree oil. The rawness started to heal, but then I notice these small blisters that were full of clear fluid. They started off few and small, now (5 days after I began treatment) they are many and huge. They hurt extremely bad. I have to sleep with a pillow between my knees and urinating is very painful. It hurts to sit, walk, or shift positions in my seat. I am still applying the Vit E and Tee Tree Oil in hopes that those will help. Are these "blisters" part of the healing process? What are they? It's gross, but if I pop them it alleviates the pain enough to make it only unbearable, which is an improvement. Has anyone else experienced this? If so, what was the outcome?"

08/06/2009: Healursoul from Jacksonville, Florida replies: "I think that using the Tea Tree Oil.. is irratating it!!!.. I would stop using it..just use the Vit E!!.. Tea tree oil is an antispetic and your already cleaning it.. you are over doing it I think!!...so give that a shot.. :)"

10/16/2009: Bing from Atlanta, Ga replies: "I have had GW for about 4 months now. I really have not been treating them because i thought the doctor was the only way and I have no insurance. I came across another website recently and saw the ACV method and I think I need to be in a coma for that (it hurt so bad I didn't make it more than 2 1/2 min the first and only time I tried it). Then I heard about using gentian violet. This was ok. It didn't burn but it works so slowly and where ever I put it it stains my skin a wonderful shade of violet. So I am getting ready to try the acv paste. I hope this works outbetter.

Oh yeah, I finally got up the nerve to talk to some one about it (my sister) and she said she had it before. She said that Olive leaf extract (orally) does wonders for keeping them away once they are gone. I did some research and Olive Leaf extract is one of the most potent antivirals on earth. Im gonna try some of the liquid in my paste and see what happens. "

[WORKED TEMPORARILY]  08/03/2009: Healthjunkie from La, Ca writes: "I'm curious to know how many people have been successful in their treatment of HPV/genital warts. When I mean successful I mean you cured it and it never
came back even after 3 months.

Successful treatment means Zero recurrence or No warts seen at all even after 3 months.

If you have recurrence after 1 month or 3 months, it means you were unsuccessful, and it was basically a treatment and not a cure.

I have tried the ACV and crushed aspirin with castor oil. I removed it and it recurred 1 month later. So I consider this unsuccessful because I will need another treatment."

08/15/2009: Greetings from Townsville, Usa replies: "you're right. there is no cure for the actual virus but what you can do is continue the treatment you've been doing and try to be healthier by exercising regularly, eating healthier taking vitamins. by doing these things you can help build your immune system so that it can recognize whats happening and work faster to suppress the virus and its symptoms. warts appear when your immune system is either weak or caught unprepared. so you must do what you can to help your body fight this off even if it takes a while. be patient."

11/15/2009: J from London, Uk replies: "Hey, obviously as a virus there is no "cure". The best chance you have is by boosting your immune system. The warts themselves are just a symptom of the condition. I take a plethora of vitamins which are successfully ridding me of any signs of the virus by themselves. I take Vitamin C, Echinacea, Beta-carotene, zinc, garlic, Vitamin A, Vitamin B-6 and Folic Acid (less important for the boys!). This combined with a generally healthy diet and lifestyle seems to be keeping me on top of this. I hope this helps. Good luck!"

07/30/2009: Inpain from Chicago, IL writes: "So my story: I first found something wrong this spring. I found genital warts on me and I went to the specialist ASAP! She gave me alderal and said after a few weeks they would go away. Eventually they did. At the time- the warts were external and in a place that didnt cause me pain or discomfort- they just freaked me out. Well here I am- 5 months later. And after sex last week it was PAINFUL. I went and looked after 2 days of pain and found warts on the INNER part of my V. This was EXTREMELY painful to walk or move at all. I started applying the cream again but it just seems to irritate and burn more. So I found this site- read up- and went out to the store for the ingredients ASAP (within an hour of reading this site). I used the 40 aspirin, 2 teaspoons of castor oil and about one teaspoon of ACV. I cleared the area first with the hydrogen peroxide... and then applied a small amount using a cotton ball of the mixture. To say it was stinging is like saying the Titanic was a toy ship. Let me emphasize that it is JUST external of the V and VERY sensitive.

So I have now left a cotton ball on, adhesive on it to make the cotton stay, and am sucking the discomfort up and hopeful!

Crossing my fingers BIG TIME! Will check back. I will say- the stinging got better after a minute and now I am back to just being uncomfortable."

07/28/2009: Rodrigo from Mexico writes: "Hello people!! Well I'll start by saying I've tried the ACV alone 2 months ago... but it did nothing to what I think is a wart... It just burnt the skin around but the little thingy just stayed there... now I'm trying with the ACV / Aspirin / Castor Oil, it's been 2 days I applied it but haven't seen a change... But my question is... Is it possible that what I got is just a skin tag? I've read that warts turn white when u put vinegar to them... but mine doesn't turn any color... it's on the shaft of my penis and I've got it like for a year... it's relatively small... but it bothers me a lot and has practically finnished my sex life ever since I noticed it...
I hope some kind soul would answer back!! !! !! and well thanks all for all the feedback and for letting others know we are not alone... I'm quite confused at this point cause I don't know if it's an ugly skin tag or a wart..."

[YEA]  07/05/2009: sarah555 from Laurelton, NY writes: "I read all the posts on curing Genital Warts. Have had these for almost two month.obsessing me to read and try ANYTHING. I used(the method of crushing 40 aspirin (bought them in the dollar store), two teaspoons castor oil and about two teaspoons vitamin A. I threw some Apple cider vinegar in, but just a little because . it burns so badly. Two days later, they feel smaller..it is working! I am also take vitamin C and A orally - be careful with vitamin A when taken orally - it is fat soluble and can hurt you if you take too much I soaked the above in a cotton ball and taped it to myself and since it is a weekend, change it every three hours. Tomorrow at work, I'll try to do it a few times. The ACV didn't work by itself for me, and very painful.. maybe I didn't do it long enough.. but the mixture above.. seems to be working VERY FAST! Thanks everyone"

06/23/2009: Positive Thinking from Midwest Town, USA writes: "i have been on here trying to rid myself of warts for awhile i tried the acv alone and too painful so i tried tea tree oil and that helped a bit also vitimin E oil and that got rid of some ones on the inside of me. i wanted to try the ACV crushed asprin castor oil method so i had to buy castor oil off the internet. i made the paste yesterday and when i mixed it up i thought WTF! this dosen't look right but i put it on anyway and left it on for a few hours reapplying it as needed. i did my nightly workout and put more on after my shower. leaving it on from 9pm to 7am when looking at it in the morning some of the skin was peeling. didn't hurt but was pink underneath so i applied Tea Tree oil to it itched a bit but it was cleaning it (guessing) then i waited a bit and applied vitamin E oil to the whole area that was covered to soothe it. now tonight i will reapply the mixture and go at it again to get more areas where the skin didn't peel away.

if you are feeling like the ACV dosen't work try this. the ACV didn't work for me but burn me and hurt me so i thought this would work and so far so good. i am keeping positive about this i think it is working well may take a week or two but i am thinking its better than haveing any bumps for years.

i will psot back with more tomorrow.
good luck everyone."

06/23/2009: HealURSoul in Jax from Jacksonville, FL replies: "You might be having a reaction to the Aldera.. I would think that you might want to stop and take a little break from everything and just heal up....you have to know that stressing about it is making everything worse!!..So, just heal up first, and then I think you should go at it with the mixture, and there won't be any pain, or just a light tinge... Please know that it will work!!!..and also know that 80% of the population has had this at sometime in their life...so just breath and BE WELL!!..:)"

06/24/2009: Positive from Midwest Town, USA replies: "replying to HealURSoul in Jax from Jacksonville, FL : im not doing the aldera jsut the ACV asprin castor oil had it on there for half a day and it helped but now my skin is itchy really bad. i tried the vitamin E oil and tea tree oil to sooth it but it still itches i did find some yeast cream to stop the itch so i think i will use this till the itch stops then continue with the ACV asprin and castor oil. i don't really know if i have warts they are just an area where it is a littke rough on the periunim (don't know how to spell it) so who kows what it is or if im jsut making it worse for myself. i kinda wish i wouldn't have done this now. i in pain and jsut want all the redness and open sores to go away.

i fanyone has any advice please help me i am getting so sick of this."

06/24/2009: HealURSoul in Jax from Jacksonville, FL replies: "I'm sorry, I posted under the wrong post..:(..was suppose to go into the one right under you.. for the "need help in Glouster"..but for you, you should let everything heal.. and if the roughness evoles into little warts, then go at it again the the mixture... you should figure out what you are working with... and the only way to tell is to let it heal...vit e should do the trick, the tree tree oil might be to much right now for you...so that is my advice to you..:)"

06/25/2009: Positive Thinking from Midwest Town, USA replies: "so i have been putting this cram on my sore crothch hahah and it did the trick did it for 24 hrs and its about 90% better so i will think i am going to leave everything alone for today and let it get some air and maybe try the ACV asprin and castor oil agin the next day. just on the 2 spots that i think are warts but am not really sure. they don't turn white with the ACV so who the hell knows."

[YEA]  07/01/2009: Keeping the Faith from Milwaukee, WI replies: "Well, here's my story. It's kinda long, but I need to vent..so thanks for listening. About a year ago I fell in love...little did I know he had genital warts and by the time I noticed his tiny "skin tags" (as he called them) coming and going, it was too late. I was very ill with a flu and that lowered my immune system and led to a full blown outbreak on my butt. Like 50 of the little buggers in a 3 inch diameter. I was horrified and ashamed. I have only had a few partners in my life anyway and I never had anal sex but I think my hemorroids left an open invitation in that area. I went to the doctor in April 09, sure enough...yep it's genital warts. I was a basket case but she shrugged it off and said, "Just let your body handle it."

Yeah right....how?? So I started reading and stumbled on this web site. So, now I take a plethora of vitamins as well as drinking ACV once a day. When I was first diagnosed I tried the AVC/Cotton ball method and it did work a little bit..but the burning was so unbearable... I could only stand it for a few minutes after the initial soaking. I swear I was on my knees in front of a fan trying not to pee myself from the pain. What a site?!!

Some of them came off, but they were still tiny and new, so I decided to follow the doctors advice and let my body handle it. Fast forward to today....they are only growing and seem to be spreading. Frankly, they are very painful and sore all the time so I decided to give the ACV another go.

Day 1...Ding...Round 1: Soaked the cotton balls with ACV (Organic, not filtered, the mother) I put them on my butt and sat as still as possible for 3 hours. Since it was my first application I was able to hit hard with the liquid ACV.

Same day...Round 2: Immediatly I then cleansed the area and covered it Vitamin E oil and then with ACV paste for about 5 hours. Yes, it burned like hell but it did subside after awhile. I think the aspirin eventually takes away some of the pain. Lets face it...this is not an easy procedure and you have to be dedicated to getting them off of you. The key here is to sit still and it helped to stuff some clean cotton balls around things to prevent rubbing and keep things softer. To make the paste I took 40 plain old aspirin (I used a very small electric grinder used for coffee beans to make a fine powder of the aspirin) I then popped 5 Vitamin E gel caps and added 1 tsp of ACV. It was a little dry so I added a few drops of ACV at a time till it was a smooth toothpaste like consistancy.

Now mind you, I had to reapply a few times between potty breaks...and it was just less painful to jump in the shower rather then trying to wipe all that dried paste off. The warts really hate the ACV and they swell up from the skin because they are aggrevated by the ACV, they will get very sore and turn very white. I almost passed out when I seen how much they had really grown in only a couple months. The first thing I noticed is that the warts turn yellowish and they already started getting dark gray. They truly look like an infection at this point..but dont get scared. This is a good sign. I coated with Vitamin E oil and then some A&D ointment and went to sleep. I am alergic to Neosporin and bactine.

Day 2: Ding: Round 3: I cleaned the area and then dabbed with hyrogen peroxide...let dry...then I put on some Vitamin E oil and finally some more ACV paste. Yep it burned...but I was a trooper and sucked it up for the cause! Stuffed with cottonballs and left it on all day. The longer the better. It may cause a little swelling but it doesn't seem to effect the healthy skin very much at all. The burning is from the wart/sores. I wore loose cloths and eventually just went about my house keeping chores and such and tried to forget about it. I had the occasional twinge of pain but it was nothing like the liquid ACV treatments. About 4 hours later, I took a shower..I didn't even look because I wanted to see how dramatic an effect the paste had..if at all... on my infection.

I was overcome with joy when I started to rub the area in the shower and I literally felt and seen them coming off in my hand. They were whitish and had a very gray/black look to them as well. They seem to need a little rubbing to peel the dead layer of skin off. I could not believe what I was seeing. All the pain and discomfort was well worth the result. When I examined things after my shower I was delighted to see that almost all of them...even in the tiny cracks...had come off. Yes, there are sore red spots where each of them resided...but they are gone to the surface of my skin, no more bump, my skin is smooth for the first time in months and the pain from the sore left behind is not that bad. My healthy skin around the wart sites seems to be in perfect condition as well, just a little pink. It is a welcome site. I covered the area in Vitamin E oil and A&D ointment. I will rest tonight..let things heal a bit..and then go in for the kill.

I am floored that this worked so quickly, I have been suffering both physically and mentally from these little aliens on my tush and I hope this works for anyone who cares to try it. I am a real girl, with a real life and this REALLY is working. Even if they are not all gone...I am considerably relieved from the dicomfort of the large ones.

I could kiss the guy who thought of the paste method. You are my hero dude! Good luck and God Bless ACV!"

07/03/2009: healURsoul in Jax from Jacksonville, Fl replies: "Ur welcome!!.. I'm so happy it is and has worked for you!!..I was the first one to post about the paste.. and beleive me I'm a chick too.. and those buggers are still gone on me today!!.. it has been months now since I have had any...THANK GOODNESS!!...Be Well Friends!!!.."

07/03/2009: Keeping the Faith from Milwaukee, WI/USA replies: "Thank you so much, dear lady, for sharing your thoughts and experiences because it did make a big difference in my life. I am still amazed at what a difference a day made with this method! I have not treated for a couple days now because I want to let things heal up. I had quite a few of them clustered together and raised up from the skin. They were painful and ugly and now they are all gone with the exception of a couple stubborn small ones. I have been putting J&J first-aid cream on myself now. This works great and it is for abraisions and burns, also water repellant. I considered Desitine as well but didn't have it handy. I am healing very well. Before, I would cringe when I looked in the mirror, but now I keep checking because I cannot believe what a miricle this is for me. I was so sad all the time and this is already allowing me to cope with things better. Worse then the discomfort of the gw's is the mental anguish I feel all the time since being diagnosed.

I know I'm not out of the woods completely and I will be applying more paste within the next day or so. I need to build up my courage. I will keep you posted. Any thoughts on how long you applied after you cleared them?? DO you treat yourself in anyway with ACV to prevent future breakouts?? Thanks in advance for all your input."

[YEA]  09/18/2009: John from Hillsboro, Mo replies: "I had to respond, because the paste worked for me. I made a paste with 25 aspirin(dollar store)splash of ACV, and ten drops of Vitamin E oil. I applied the paste to my one large wart at the base of my shaft, and continually replaced it as needed for three days/nights. In between re-pasting i used a q-tip with ACV and used the vitamin E oilaround the area. Since I had already bought a vial of liquid wart remover,I used this over the paste and directly on the wart as well. Three days later, the wart f@#%ing fell off today. I am super stoked and grateful for this advice. I am going to apply to the crime-scene just out of paranoia, but I am temporarily free from the ugly grey wart that crimped my style for two-years."

[QUESTION]  06/18/2009: needhelp from Glouster, NJ, USA writes: "I truly hope someone can help me. I have been reading the posts about treating the genital warts with acv and aspirin. Here is what has happened so far.

Last week I discovered a few gw's inside my vagina. My husband had been diagnosed with GW two years ago, so I was certain this was what I had too. The doctor prescribed Aldara, which i have been using for the last four nights. Since i first noticed the first few warts, the entire are inside my vagina has had a full blown outbreak of warts...mostly tiny ones, a few larger ones.

Here is the problem...I have gotten soooo swollen, raw and sore over the last few days that i can barely walk and am in so much pain when i wake that i am in tears. And...I don't think the cream is taking effect (other than to burn my skin). I cannot express how swollen and raw my skin is.

I had applied tea tree oil one day during the day, thinking this would soothe the area. Many of the warts appears to turn white and sort of wipe away, but now those ares are open raw sores. the last two days i have been applying aloe vera to try and soothe the area, as well as neosporin to attempt to heel the burned areas, but i don't know how much longer i can go on like this. if the aldara is going to take weeks/months to clear up the outbreak, i just can't handle the discomfort.

i had read about the aspirin, castor oil and acv treatment...and how quickly it works and how effectively. so ... i have a few questions. should i wait until the skin heels to start this treatment? is there something i should do/use to sooth this area? i am desperate...i want these warts to go away...i know i will still have the virus and am taking great steps to boost my immune system with vitamins and diets, but i am desperate for help. any advise/stories that would be helpful is greatly appreciated"

06/23/2009: Jojo from Plainsvile, TX replies: "i think that you are taking the right steps just try to heal any wkin that is sore or raw and then go at it again. you don't wnat to be in pain and get an infection so take care of the sore stuff."

06/08/2009: Amber from Minneapolis, MN writes: "I noticed a couple of very small bumps two weeks ago and went in to a local planned parenthood, initial I was told it was nothing but I was not satisfied so I went back a week later and because the tiny bumps had went from one to three the doctor said she was fairly certain it was GW. I immediately had them do an acid treatment, and I had been following up with ACV but I was not having an kind of color changing of white to black it has only burnt my skin very badly to the point where I now have open sores. I have stopped the ACV. I used the acv, crushed, castor oil, and the very same day my skin started to heal it was no longer red, inflamed or irritated. I then went in to see another doctor who was not complete satisfied that they were gw but stated she could not be certain because the skin was so irritated. I have since been continuing the mixture but still not change in color or anything falling off. I should be getting the HPV test results back this week. Is their any chance this is not genital warts? could this still be gw but just not working? will the HPV test confirm I have the HPV strain that is GW? Or can it come back negative but I still have GW? Please help as I am very confused and a little upset that no one can give me a definitive answer."

06/09/2009: Joyce from Joelton, Tn replies: "Hello Amber,

Are these bumps painful, or rather were they painful before you used the vinegar on them? Did they look more like pimples than warts? Where are the bumps located, mostly inside the vagina or more on the external labia?

Reading your e-mail recalled a patient I saw in Family Planning Clinic in l979. She came in with complaint of a few pimples on her labia x l-2 days. Denied pain except for stinging a little bit when she urinated. Pain level & denying ever having it before decreased the likelihood of it being genital herpes. Nor did it fit the picture for any other STD that I was familiar with. After consulting a good text book on STD's the one thing it did fit was lymphogranuloma venerum (LGV). One week later she already had pea sized lymph nodes in her groin that pegged it. So keep a check on your groin area (crease where thighs join buttocks/perineal area. If one or more lymph nodes become obvious get yourself back to the health dept. clinic and have them draw (2) 7ml red top tubes of blood and send them to the state lab for CF for LGV, because you definitely don't want to let this go for long untreated. If those lymph nodes in the groin start enlarging DO NOT LET ANYONE STICK A NEEDLE OR A SCALPEL IN THEM! Doctors and nurses working inland aren't too familiar with this STD, but this little lady was about as inland as you can get and I learned that a nearby health department was treating 3 couples with it at that time.

When consulting the head of the OB/GYN dept. of a hospital in that county re treatment of LGV, his reply was that he had never seen a case of it because it was mainly something you looked for in seaport areas."

06/09/2009: Amber from Minneapolis, Minnesota replies: "The bumps weren't painful before I used the ACV treatment. The looked more like a pimple than a wart, they are not warty at all, just tiny little bumps. But what you stated above is actually kind of scaring me because exactly one week after I first went in for the first bump I found a pea sized lump thing on the opposite side of the labia. Oh these bumps are between the opening of the vagina and the anus. But this wasn't addressed and they stated it was not a wart, it was something "female" that goes on down there. Do you have any other advice as to what kind of treatment I should be using?"

05/20/2009: HomeRemedyConvert from Chicago, US writes: "ACV was burning my Penis skin. So I am trying the ACV, Crushed Aspirin and Castor oil paste. I am also taking Echinacea capsules for Immune system Boost. I also made a drink out of Honey, ACV in equal amounts (1 cup of each)and mixing it with (a Pitcher) of warm water then chilling it after honey, water and ACV have dissolved. You can add a couple drops of MINT Extract for taste. Makes a good drink and supposedly boosts immune system again also. I also take a few cups of green tea daily as well.

I put on the paste earlier today and it stings a bit. I crushed 40 Aspirin pills, added a teaspoonful of Castor oil and 1 teaspoonful of ACV. It made a consistent paste. Things look better and this hopefully would work with some patience and diligence. I know I had let this go for a long time and I need to be patient with this for couple weeks for good results. HPV loves moisture, So, meanwhile, wear a condom; if you have to; if you need to use your tool in any way. I'll post back in few days with results of this. good luck to everyone. This is a nasty thing."

I only had one wart and it just scabbed over and peeled off today. I applied some peroxide on the rawish looking skin to clean my wound and was distressed to see that several little white spots appeared on my wound after applying the peroxide. Are these all infected areas of the HPV Virus or are these just antibodies working to heal the wound? If anyone can respond quickly to this it would be greatly appreciated because I am not sure if I should continue using the ACV Paste or just letting the wound heal. Thanks!!!"

05/20/2009: Sneakoscope from Santa Barbara, California, USA replies: "To: HealURSoul

I have just been diagnosed with GW (I only think I've had them about 4-5 months) I have just a few and they are not too large. The nurse practitioner I spoke with prescribed Aldara cream, but since I've read other people's comments that Aldara didn't work for them, I want to try a natural remedy first. Before I invest a lot of money in a harsh pharmaceutical.

Your remedy sounds very promising, but I have a couple of questions. What ratio of castor oil to ACV do you use? Is it about equal? I crushed up about 20-25 aspirin and tried it last night, but how do you keep it on all day. I have a cluster near the anus, some small bumps on the perineum, and one on the edge/border of the inner labia near the clit. The nurse said I had a couple small bumps in the vagina too. Should the paste stay moist or will it dry out? I applied the paste, then put a ultra-thin pantyliner in my underwear before I went to sleep. How often do you reapply?

I am really hoping this will work for me. I am also planning to drink the ACV with water daily and also take Olive Leaf Extract (an anti-viral) around the clock to see if I can knock it out of my system.

I would welcome any suggestions or help. Thanks"

05/22/2009: Sneakoscope from Santa Barbara, CA replies: "I was so hoping that this would work for me, but I'm having trouble getting the paste to stay on the wart area and not rub off on other areas. A lot of healthy skin is starting to burn off. I see a tiny black speck at the base of one wart on the edge of my inner labia, so I hope it's starting to die. But I don't know if I can keep this up with all the other healty skin burning off. I can't figure out how to keep the treatment on the area I need without damaging the rest of me. This is really difficult and painful. I will try to take a break today and resume tomorrow."

05/25/2009: Tryin It from NYC, New York replies: "hi all, we're (my husband - specifically) trying this remedy: 60 tablets of generic 325mg aspirin, 2 teaspoons castor oil, and 2 teaspoons ACV, crushed to an angry vengeful pulp/paste.

he's applied it to the areas that are affected, and the surrounding area as well, wrapped in a sheet of clear plastic wrap (he'd prefer sandwich bags, so that's on the shopping list now)

we will report back as to how it works for him.

on MY side of the infection, i may or may not have gotten HPV about a year ago, and unknowingly gave it to my new undeserving sweetheart of a husband, and i have gone through my own series of heartache and remedies, including a painful number of ACV soaked tampons. this seemed to work, but only on the ones i could see. i couldn't tell if i had any more further out of reach. in the meantime i am also taking a multi vitamin/mineral, a Co Q10, and folic acid pills once per day. i keep myself clean and occasionally wipe myself with hydrogen peroxide.

i eventually settled on getting a travel douche (reusable), and i had douched with a warm water/ACV mix (about 1 part ACV to 2-3 parts body temp water) about once a month. after infecting him a second time, i notched it up and douched once per week for a month. i used minimally processed yogurt to sooth the discomfort (of which wasn't nearly as bad as the pain from straight up ACV).

i have since had my 6 month-after-initial-diagnosis pap smear, and the test CAME BACK NEGATIVE for HPV.

I'm not sure what would be the most likely cure, so i am offering this up as ideas for ways to enhance whatever your remedies are currently. My doctor told me to take the folic acid, Co Q10, and some other pill of dehydrated maitake mushrooms (which i only took for two months and couldn't say it worked nor didn't, i haven't taken it since 3 months ago.) basically i think those pills are meant to upkeep the immune system and to regenerate healthy cells. i think keeping clean, staying on top of it, always checking yourself, and getting a professional opinion are all very important.

I am going to schedule another pap appointment with another clinic, just to make sure, and i will write back with the results.

stay positive! there are so many people with all types of HPV, and it's so helpful to know that many of them are working towards finding an effective cure and are willing to share!

thank you!"

06/14/2009: Anon from Texas, USA replies: "im a skeptic by nature, but was scared out of my mind Id never get rid of anal/genital warts. I did not drink any ACV. I also took ACV tablets 3x a day. Not sure which did the trick, but it worked, and worked within a couple weeks. Also took lysine and a multi vitamin.

noticed an increase in energy and elevation in mood within a couple weeks as well.

The ACV liquid does burn a but, but is bearable. Also itches alot."

ACV, WHITE VINEGAR, SALICYLIC ACID, GARLIC

1 BETTER BUT NOT CURED

[BETTER BUT NOT CURED]  02/27/2009: Scott from Anaheim, CA writes: "ACV, White Vinegar, Salicylic Acid, Garlic, for genital warts:

I just moved into an shared house and the house is dirty. I believe I contracted it here. I have tried ACV for warts, but it did not remove all the warts. It did remove some of the warts (around the shaft), but did not touch the ones by the head of the penis. I think it even caused it to spread a little. I also do not think it was strongest enough solution. I used bragg's vinegar. I thought I was home free, but I wasn't. I went out and bought white distilled vinegar from walmart. Its also 5%, but much stronger. I actually bought salicylic acid also and put that on. It burned a lot! Afterwards, I went and soaked it in white distilled vinegar. More pain. But the next day, I showered and rubbed the warts and the skin peeled away the warts around the head came off. I also rubbed off the other skin on the shaft area. It looks pretty bad afterwards, but the skin heals quickly after applying fresh aloe vera.

I'm still fighting it. Taking centrum once a day, vitamin A, vit C.

Now I want to kill the virus internally. I'm using the following method recommended by Repentence, 1 clove of garlic 3x week, drink/eat job's tears as much as possible.

I'll post results in 2 weeks."

03/04/2009: NEW METHODS from USA replies: "Ive read just about all you can on genital warts and herpes. Figuring both are a virus so I researched the 2 instead of just one. Everyone says pretty much the same things. ACV and Peroxide. Other than that its basically eat good and live a healthy life. No smoking ,drinking and less stressing.

As far as what Ive read no men say exactly what to do if you want to find warts on the entire area and how to treat the entire area . Its mostly I have a wart or more and i put cotton with ACV and taped it on over night for a few nights.

WELL my idea is this:

Get a wash clothe and wash it out in hydrogen peroxide then pour your ACV on to it wrap it around the shaft first nice and tyte and then wrap the scrotum. then take a piece of rope or shoe lace and wrap it around under the scrotum and keep wrapping until you get to the head and tie it off.

You will figure out how to do this once you get the wash clothe on there!! TRUST ME
Hope this helps!

How many of you had genital warts for more than 2 years and how many of you still get them after treatment?"

03/09/2009: Scott from Anaheim, CA replies: "I have cleared my warts from my penis. The method I used was putting salicylic acid (18%) on the warts and following it with ACV. The warts came off, but the healing process was pretty bad. At one point it even seemed like it was spreading because of foreskin. Because of this, I decided to add Jobs Tears (Yi Yi Ren) and 3 cloves of garlic 3x a week.

I believe the real killer of the virus is the Jobs Tear (Yi Yi Ren). This is a Chinese Barley. You can pick it up at your acupuncturist. It prevented the virus from spreading. I did a vinegar test the other day and only found one white spot, so I might have one little one still around, but I'm happy with the results so far. My opinion would be to just take the Job Tears and Garlic and not do the salicylic acid treatment. The acid treatment is very painful. If I knew this before I would have just eaten the Jobs Tears everyday. ACV itself will not fully kill the warts and may even cause it to spread. Good luck. Damn the Warts!"

[YEA]  11/18/2009: Wartsgoaway82 from Atlanta, Ga writes: "I am a 33 year old male. I first saw warts on the base of my penis 2 years ago. I have been living in a nightmare ever since. I have seen several doctors including dermatologist and they all agreed that the warts will never go away. One doctor made me feel like a leopor and refused to treat me with the cryogenic method stating, "what's the difference, they'll just come back"

I was buying the home freeze kits and using those for almost a year. They would work sometimes but not all the time. condolox and aldara did not work for me. Condyllox was also very irritating and destructive.

Finally I found the Apple Cider Vinegar method.

I placed cotton balls in a bowl and poured on the ACV. I let it sit for 5-10 mins. I tore the cotton into sections that would cover the wart clusters and covered them with band aids.

I did this before bed and went to sleep.

The first morning, the warts were white and puffy. A couple of them were already grey. By noon they were black. I felt very lucky since that is what has to happen for them to fall off( or so other posts have stated).

I repeated the treatment the second night and the warts that did not turn black on the first night are now black with a few small white ones I couldn't tell were warts just a few days ago. After a full count I was shocked to discover that I have over 20 warts down there. I only knew of 6-8.

Today I feel powerful and enlightened. I even had a stubborn wart come off in the shower. This is on the second morning.

Big tip for people struggling with this: Dont give up!!

I will say I have had no pain so far, just mild stinging. I feel lucky and it might be because I froze them a couple days before starting the ACV.

Good luck to the rest of you. For me, hope is back!!

In the last week my situation got worse quickly and I reached a breaking point."

[YEA]  10/26/2009: Newdawn from Seattle, Wa, Usa writes: "HPV cured by Apple Cider Vinegar

So It's been about 3 years since i contracted this godawful disease and I've nailed down a remedy that works every time these buggers try to make a comeback.

What you'll need (or what I needed I should say):

-Apple Cider Vinegar (sold at ANY grocery store)
-Toilet Paper (the good and thick stuff)
-Saran Plastic wrap
-Hydrogen Peroxide
-Tea Tree Oil
-Neosporin (original formula, accept no substitute.)

So, a couple things before i begin describing the regiment:

DO:

-keep clean. Shower every day. Soaking will help dead tissue peel off.
-stay hydrated and keep normal sleep cycles.
-WEAR PROTECTION if you're going to have sex. I wouldn't wish HPV on my worst enemy.

DO NOT:

-pick-at or mess with your outbreak, the less you mess with it the quicker it will heal.
-smoke cigarettes. I quit because of HPV, you should too. It DEPLETES your immune system.
-stress yourself out. Stress will cause it to get worse. Be sure to relieve your stress!
-think this is the end of your sex life. Maintain a positive outlook on beating this.

The Regiment:

The sum of my outbreaks always occur on the glans or as low as the scar of my circumcision, never lower, and the problem i had at first was finding away to apply the ACV to my affected areas for long enough without having to spend an hour or so a day in the bathroom. So what I came up with is taking two attached squares of toilet paper, folding them lengthwise in half, then dousing them in the ACV (just enough to dampen the t.p.). After this, I would wrap the ACV soaked t.p. around the glans and inner foreskin of my penis, and sort of squeeze to make sure I was making contact to the entire area. At this point, you're going to have to secure the t.p. in place, so what i came up with was using plastic wrap to basically gift wrap the t.p. to my penis. Remember too pee before you put it on, and keep it on for 45 min to an hour. You're going to find that the warts turn white, eventually with a red/grey/black spot in the middle (that is the root)

Don't go for longer than an hour! Slow and steady is the ticket. I would wrap every day until they are gone (no white spots appear after soaking), and if it seems your skin is becoming too raw, take a day off. Know now that this is going to cause slight discomfort, the acidity of the ACV is essentially going to burn the warts off, after a while you wont notice the slight amount of stinging (that means It's working). The best time of the day to do this is right before you take a shower, so you can wash the ACV off afterward (It doesn't smell good at all).

I used to wrap after showering, but the problem with that it that my skin was too soft after soaking, and it was also damaging the skin around the warts. I should also note that you're going to want use this method rather than just trying to spot onto the warts you know you have, because this method will get rid of the ones you don't see as well, as they will turn white after soaking in ACV. Remember also not to try to remove the warts after they turn white (you're probably going to want to, but fight the urge to mess with them). Be patient, they'll begin falling off themselves within a few days of treatment.

In the shower I found using Dial antibacterial soap worked best. At the end of the shower give the area you soaked just a splash of hydrogen peroxide to help dead tissue deteriorate, and to prevent infection. After you've dried from your shower get your tea tree oil and put just 2 or 3 drops onto the affected area and rub it gently into the skin (small circles). After a few days you'll find the warts are going to start peeling off, don't pick at them, they will come off when they're ready! Allow the tea tree oil to soak in for a couple minutes (this feels really good, kind of a cooling sensation and smells great too), then simply apply the Neosporin (this will speed the healing process immensely by preventing your skin from drying out any cracking). If you feel so compelled you can go one further and bandage, but as long as you change into clean undies every day you're going to be fine. I usually repeat the tea tree oil and Neosporin 3 times a day, just to keep the area clean and moisturized.

That's about it, It's a long hard road but once you beat this, It's like being born again. Remember to wrap it up (as if you haven't learned your lesson already). It's a damn shame doctors will never tell you about this remedy, after all, if they did, all those BS medications and temporary procedures they prescribe wouldn't make them any money. We are united in struggle, I just hope i can help someone anonymously because I'm taking the secret of having HPV to my grave. Godspeed friends, be well."

[YEA]  09/30/2009: Sugarmagnolia from Austin, Tx writes: "i have been using ACV everyday for about 3 weeks and my warts are almost gone! i had two goups, one was smallish, one larger, and i apply it with a q-tip after my shower everyday, sometimes twice. i sort of scrubb at the warts with the q-tip, and then hold it on the wart for a few minutes. sometimes it hurts alot, sometimes it bleeds, sometimes its not too bad. when it hurts the worst seems to be when its working the fastest. they literally shrink by the day! i will go back to the doctor soon have her check them out soon, just because i'm not sure i'll be able to tell when they are gone? does anyone know how likely scarring is with this treatment?"

10/01/2009: Mark from Largo, Florida replies: "I did the ACV treatment 3 times. Each time I would get a few warts to disappear but some of the others were very stubborn. Most of you will find many more warts than you thought you have after you start treatments. After the skin healed I would see additional bumps and then do it over again. Perhaps I stopped treatment too soon, but, the skin would be so raw and painful that I felt like I had to stop.

Last Saturday I took Compound W Freeze Off and froze the head of the remaining 7 bumps. I then waited until Monday to let the skin covering the wart die off a little and then ACV'd the area. By last night, 2 days, all 7 warts have turned totally black. These are warts that survived 3 previous treatments.

My advice to those with really stubborn warts is to treat the wart with something that will get rid of the top skin covering the wart first in order to kill the roots underneath with ACV. This definitely saved the surrounding skin. Once the buggers are black you can finish the treatment by simply using a Q tip and apply the ACV directly to the warts for a couple days and further save the surrounding skin.

Also, many people have said that you should not peel off the black scabs but I didn't read a reason why. A couple of mine that I peeled off after the first treatment came back. The reason for not peeling them is that this scab forming over the roots is depriving the wart of oxegen. You should leave it alone until it falls off and just put a drop of AVC on the black scab 5-6 times a day for 2-3 days once they turn black. I know that many of you want to get this over in 5 days so that you can be f@#king by the weekend but this is a 7-10 day process so you will have to give up one weekend. I also find that an hour a night in the swimming pool helps heal the surrounding skin."

[YEA]  09/05/2009: Annie from New Orleans, La Usa writes: "Hi :)

Okay, so I had to do this for a lot of reasons - - mostly because I know how much sites like this one help to ease my mind when I'm having a problem. . .

I was diagnosed with HPV last summer. No idea where it came from. Been with the same guy since I was 17 -- I'm 21 now -- was a virgin when we started dating. Waited two years after that before we ever had sex. He has nothing symptom-wise & guys can't get tested for it, so we literally have no idea where it came from. Luckily he's completely supportive & we make it work (**side note - GUYS! wear a condom and keep your boxer-briefs on, and pop your buddy through the opening in the front - - offers a lot of protection).

Anyway, for a while I was feeling rough patches of skin down near (never in!) my vagina. I shave the area so I always assumed they were just ingrown hairs and the like. It wasn't until I grew a bump on my inner thigh (pretty freakin far down my leg too) that I got weirded out. It was pretty sizable and it was just flesh colored. Literally just a bump. I was wearing a bathing suit one day and my mom said, "what's on your leg?" and I said, "I'm really not sure, I think it's a skin tag." Mom replied "It kind of looks like a wart." Jokingly she brought up genital warts. . but it got me thinking. So I started googling. I put the pieces together. I got a mirror and looked at the spots around my bum where I'd felt the rough patches in the past & realized they were smaller versions of what was on my leg. Even though the pictures you get when you do a google image search look much more serious than what I was experiencing, I had a feeling I knew what it was.

I made a dermatologist appointment & in the meantime used Compound W on the big one, just to see if it would work. Worst thing ever - - it did absolutely nothing, and it gets all over your hands and doesn't come off. So the dermatologist - EMBARRASSING by the way, he was young and cute - confirmed what I already knew, & froze 'em off. Worked perfectly - they all fell off within a few days. Problem was, they missed one. I thought I could handle the straggler on my own and kept up with the Compound W. . . but the longer I went on worrying about it, the more they spread. Soon I was back to where I started.

Went to my yearly for the gynecologist and had him look at them. He put some acid stuff on them, and it did nothing. FRUSTRATING. I wanted him to freeze them off but he insisted I try the acid first, and it didn't work.

I was at my wits' end & completely reluctant to go back to the young, attractive dermatologist to be embarrassed again, as well as unwilling to pay a $30 copay at the gyney when all he was gonna do was put the acid on once & expect it to work. So did a google search: "genital warts home remedies" - and came across this Apple Cider Vinegar miracle cure routine.

Oh. My. God. Can't believe it works - but it does. I've followed the same directions and most of the people on this site, except I've added a little twist - Bleach. Weird I know - but it speeds it up. Here's how I've been doin' it.

Get all your supplies - - cotton ear swabs, cotton balls, bleach, apple cider vinegar (ACV), medical/athletic tape, scissors, a bright light and a mirror

So check out the area - - make sure you know where your bumps are (I call them bumps cause it sounds less gruesome). When you map it all out, dip an ear swab in a bit of bleach - NOT A LOT! - and hold that swab on each bump for about 10 seconds or so. There will be some pain - DON'T BE ALARMED! - it really speeds up the process.

After you've dabbed each spot, make sure to wipe off any excess bleach because you don't want to expose the surrounding areas any more than you need to (you'll just wind up with more irritation that way). Try dabbing the area with a dry cotton ball.

Once the excess bleach has been wiped away you can start with the ACV. Take a cotton ball & soak it in ACV. If you want, you can make it so it will fit your infected area & cover more than just one at a time. By that I mean pull it, fold it, stretch it, whatever you need to do to make it cover a few of your bumps as opposed to just one (I'd squeeze out the excess ACV because it can start to seep through the tape, and the smell of vinegar on your sheets is not nice). I'll usually put a dry cotton ball behind the ACV-soaked one so that the tape sticks better, and I secure it as well as possible (avoid any rogue pubic hairs - it hurts).

I've left mine on over night for the past 5 or 6 days, and already 4 of the 8 or 9 I've got have reached the point of being completely black and scabbed over.

Seriously - I'm amazed. AMAZED.

Though the areas around the bumps have become pretty irritated & a little scabby, the pain is by no means unbearable - and it works, so suck it up. Don't let your mentality mess you up. And don't get impatient - some take longer than others.

You'll probably formulate your own mode of operation for this remedy, but I'm just giving you all something to work with.

I am however taking Vitamin C tablets, as well as ACV tablets and elderberry extract. I'm trying to eat healthily and get plenty of sleep. I try to work out, too - but even if you don't have direct access to a gym - walk or run a few miles a day outside. I know that the key to beating this thing is a healthy immune system, so I'm working on it. But this little home remedy doesn't hurt to get you inspired.

Good luck everybody -- & don't give up! :)"

[YEA]  08/30/2009: John from Baton Rouge, Louisiana writes: "Genital Wart Removal: First of all I must say that I am a skeptic by nature and I didn't really think that any of these "cures" would work, but you know what they say about desparation. I had a genital wart in a very precarious spot. I used small circular band-aids, some cotton from a cotton swab and plain ole store bought apple cider vinegar. After soaking the cotton in acv I placed it in the center of the wart and covered it with the band-aid. I did this during the day, because I could stay busy and forget about the discomfort, while at night it was way to painful. After a week of this routine the wart scabbed and eventually fell off. I am continuing this an extra week just to ensure that it is gone. If you are suffering from a wart, then I would suggest to at least give this a try. Endure the pain because its worth it in the end :) THANKS!"

[BETTER BUT NOT CURED]  08/10/2009: Mark from Auckland, New Zealand writes: "i have had genital warts for a year now, just 2 which are very small.but recently i have noticed a change they are much bigger and one is a cauliflower shape.so i read up on the net about acv, so i have been using it for 5 days now and i can see a difference.one has fallen off and the other 2 are getting black in colour. it does sting the skin around the wart and i have now got a few blisters but im putting up with the pain as it seems to be working on the warts. ill keep you update about the larger one as im sure it will take much longer."

[YEA]  10/18/2009: Markus from Vancouver, B.c. Canada replies: "Yes the ACV seems to be working!!! I have been using it for 4 days now and they have turned black and seem to have shrunk, I am just waiting for the little scabs to fall off now. What I do is before going to bed I shower, then spray peroxide on the area, then take off the tip of a qtip and dip it in ACV put it on the bumps and cover with a bandaid. In the morning i shower then apply polysporin on the area and this really seems to be working!!! I guess i will update in a few days:) Thank god for forums like this, I now know Im not alone."

[BETTER BUT NOT CURED]  08/09/2009: Sassy from B-town, Usa writes: "*UPDATE* so ive had a recurrence. the area previously treated has not broken out again but it seems as though the virus is running its course in different areas. and. for a while there every wart i got rid of a few more would pop up! it was very frustrating, this has been a horrible month long endeavor since the first breakout. also i noticed that places i was first treated by the doctor with acid turned into little moles, not warts, i tested them, but moles!!! that acid crap is the devil! anyways, the warts have migrated to the clitoral area, luckily none have located themselves directly on the clit itself but on the hood and the area around it. this area has proved to be quite difficult to treat. since it is very moist and rubs while walking/sitting/doing pretty much anything the warts are quick to spread. so. for this area, this is what i did:

1. take cotton balls soaked with acv and squeeze out the excess before packing them in the affected area. NOTE* if you have been treating this area for several days and it becomes sensitive, dilute the avc with water.

2. after leaving on for 1-3 hours one to two times a day remove the cotton balls. rinse with warm water. GENTLY massage liquid antibacterial soap on the area. be careful not to pick or scratch the area, let any dead skin/scabs/dead warts fall off on their own when they are ready. picking and scratching will only spread them around. rinse. Rinse. RINSE. with water of course.

3. pat dry with some tp or a towel that you will not use again until after it is washed. apply vitamin e oil to the treated areas. again, be careful to not pick or scratch.

4. place dry cotton balls on the area treated. this helps control the moisture and prevents any open sores from touching healthy skin. do this until the warts are no longer present and the skin has returned to its normal healthy state.

5. WASH YOUR HANDS AFTER EVERY TIME YOU TOUCH DOWN THERE!!!!!!! AND DONT TOUCH ANYTHING ELSE UNTIL YOU HAVE. please, be clean :) you dont want to accidentally give this to anyone else do you?

after much trial and error this is what i have found works best and may work for you. tea tree oil can be used in place of the vitamin e oil but test in a small area first. i am possibly allergic to it and it makes me itch like crazy, which made me scratch, which spread the problem. also, tea tree oil has a very strong minty odor that is VERY noticeable. vitamin e oil does not. i also take a few supplements such as prenatal vitamins, garlic pills, vitamin e gel caps, and apple cider vinegar tablets. every freakin day. consistency is everything. this treatment is working well so far but you must have patience. ive been dealing with this for almost two months now and im really impressed with the fact that i can regulate this problem with something so simple. no matter what method you choose to treat the warts, there will always be a chance of recurrence and no treatment has been proven to be more effective than another since everyone is a little different. what works for you might not work for someone else. the best that you can do is to be healthy, consistent, and to stay positive. you will beat this."

08/15/2009: Sassy from B-town, Usa replies: "*UPDATE* looks like this method works pretty darn good! packing with dry cotton balls between treatments definitely helped keep the area dry and kept any open sores or warts from touching other areas thus preventing any further spread of the issue. i highly recommend the use of dry cotton balls as well as vitamin e oil. my skin healed much faster."

08/03/2009: Hpv-helplesspoorvictim! from Jacksonville, Fl, USA writes: "My story:

A few months ago my girlfriend called me and told me she had gone in for her Pap smear and found out that the spot where she thought she had nicked herself shaving turned out to be Genital Herpes. She found out that she had HPV and got treated at the Doctors by a series of acid treatments, followed by a series of topical solutions that worked well for her. She is wart free now as far as we both know. The Doctor's bill was outrageous however she comes from a well off family and daddy paid it. A few months later I see a wart on my penis. I on the other hand am not so fortunate to come from a rich family. I didn't want to go to the Hospital on base because I am not sure how the military looks on this sort of thing? Has anyone on here been treated at a military hospital??? So first off I read around online. I read of alot of ppl having success with Compound W. I used the stuff to burn it off with salicylic acid. This worked great! I didn't see it again. I had sex with my girl again and a few days later the little buggers showed up again! This time three. No prob, I burnt them off too! Wallah! Gone! So some time passes and this time I get a all out flare up! Now I have them all over some on my penis some on my groin around it. I burnt the ones off on the less sensitive areas and they haven't come back but there are too many to deal with on my penis. I ordered the Wartrol CRAP off line and tried the bitter tasting stuff three times a day under my tongue. COMPLETE waste of money! Don't fall for that scam. Next I paid some dude 17 bucks to access his "GENITAL WART REPORT". Which was nothing more than slabbing alot of Castor Oil on your genitals. I was beginning to lose hope until I stumbled across this forum but it seems that alot have had success, and i hope to contribute. Today is my first day trying ACV. I mixed it with the Castor Oil I have already been trying. I have completely quit smoking and drinking and have been working out alot and eating healthy, taking numerous vitamins. I didn't realize how many warts i had until i poured ACV on. ALOT. They all turn white. They are all very tiny not large and cauliflower like. I hope this works. I soaked gauze in Castor Oil and ACV and wrapped it around my shaft. I then took self adhering medical tape and wrapped it around. I am going to leave this on over night and then reapply tomorrow. I will keep you all posted. Please Reply to this post if you are A. in the military and have been treated or B. have alot of tiny warts and have had success."

08/17/2009: Airborne from Somewhere, Usa replies: "Dude. Prior military. just got out in 08. When I got back from afghanistan I went and saw the dock about what I thought was jock itch, it turned out to be HPV. I've been struggling with it for a year now. I've never tried any herbal remedies, yet. But, the docs on post should give you PODOFILOX. It's going to cause mad irritation, and you might have to use more than they say, but it works... only mine always come back. I recommend you tough up and get them frozen unless they're near the tip. It only stings for a couple seconds and it will ache a little all day, and you might want to scratch it, but they fall off within a week. If i'd never started smoking again, mine would be gone. Also, everyone on here says alcohol makes them worse, but drinking a small amount not very often won't hurt a bit. My outbreaks always come from smoking. So, cut the cancer sticks if you do smoke. Hope that's helpful."

[QUESTION]  07/30/2009: SilverMcFly17 from Hastings, MI writes: "Hi! I as very interested in trying the ACV on my HPV because I have had the warts burned off twice now. Currently I am 5 1/2 months pregnant, so my sight to the area isn't the greatest. I have tried soaking gauze in ACV and applying it but I am not having the burning pain that people describe so I am wondering if it's working. But I am wondering if anyone has any ideas on how to keep the gauze on the area. Mine are not clusters per say they resemble white heads but they aren't!!! The warts are are all over above the clitoral area. More around the pubic bone. Also I have 3 on my inner thigh. And like I said they are spread out so I would like to have a solution to cover a large area for treatment. Any Ideas?? I am desperate and would like to have this cleared up before I deliver."

08/09/2009: Help from Nowhere, Usa replies: "instead of gauze use cotton balls and pack them in and then tape them in place with medical tape. works great, just sucks to pull off if you have hair down there. or if you just have one or two in an area you can cut a q-tip in half, soak with acv, put cotton ball over top and then tape in place. also, unless you have the warts all over you should try to focus on the areas where they are present. acv is pretty much like mild acid and it will eat away at your skin. causing open wounds. which encourages the spread of the warts."

[YEA]  07/30/2009: Man Guy from Edmonton, AB writes: "Here is my story and my procedure if you care to read it.
PS ive never been compelled to write something on a forum before but I feel I must because I felt guilty taking information and not contributing back.

Well, what a bloody nightmare!
One day im watching Tv and i notice some small bumps around the bottom of the shaft of my penis, at first i was under the impression they were moles because i told my girl friend right away and of course she told me not to worry about it. So after about a month of going freaking nuts thinking about it i decided it was time to be a man, bite the bullet, and go see the doctor. So into the room i go drop the pants and the doctor tells me "You got warts", im like WTF you have to be joking me. So naturally i ask how can i cure this, and so non chalantly he proceeds to tell me that there IS NO CURE and passed me a double sided black and white print out about HPV and GW's printed in 1995, yes 14 years ago, thats their up to date information they hand diagnosed patients....

So this is where everything completely fell apart for me. I told my girlfriend i had seen the doctor and what he told me, he really emphasized how i could end up killing my girlfriend with this condition, pretty well the doctor made me feel like a complete scum bag and made me want to die . My girlfriend was understand at the start.

2 Months go by

I lose my job, my good friend commites suicide/ hand full of other people die, my father goes to jail, im about to move into my girlfriends house but she decides to leave me for someone else right before i do. I am completely utterly alone. I spent along time considering suicide and i know its not the answer but sometimes the mind can only take so many consecutive blows and i felt so dirty and ashamed of myself, there was NO ONE i could talk too i felt so damn hopeless. I spent along time hating the world and despised this girl who gave hpv to me then left as soon as the gig was up, I knew i had done bad things in the past but the last 4 years i have become a new person but now it seems i was paying for everything ten fold.

I searched the internet and bought a guide called "the genital wart report" which consists of 13 pages or so on information about HPV, its about 13 bucks. It talked about the castor oil + baking soda approach as working the best. I tried it for about 2 months but had no effect on me, and the baking soda just hurt like hell and didnt produce any nice results. So after that i bought a product called "wart no more" and was excited because it was all natural, the site has alot of information on it about hpv so i bought the product, 85 bucks for a tiny little tinicture of oil it lasted about 1 month and didnt do the job.

ONCE AGAIN i was dissapointed and in the dumps.

So i got back to the clinic to have it frozen off using liquid nitrogen. For all of you who have done this method, you KNOW that it is incredibly embarrasing, painful, and traumatizing. Come back in 14 days sir and do it again.

I swear at this point the darkest thoughts went through my head. Nothing bloody worked I was so upset.

So another month went by and i decided one more time to look on the internet for how to warts. I came across this site mabey god wanted me to find it or something, because i found it on like 2kb's of stolen wireless internet.

I read the ACV technique and said hell why not, ill try anything.

SO here is my technique i used:

1$ package of medical gauze
1 7$ bottle of ACV (all natural stuff i found at the health store)
1 pack of Band-Aids
1 bottle of aloe vera
1 Bottle of VIT E oil
1 bottle Tea tree oil
1 small cup
1 set of tweezers
+ I have also been taking products called "Cell Food". Kyolic (not positive on the spelling but it is a good immune booster) and Thooja homeopathic therapy tablets to try and combat the HPV virus.

So this is the method i came up with after some trial n error

small splash of ACV into the cup
about an inch or 2 of gauze folded into a little patch
tweezer to drop guaze into cup of ACV
readied bandaid in correct spot
ring out excessive ACV from gauze
place patch of gauze over warts and seal band aid.

I did this for 4 hours durations 2-3 times a day
after the first time the warts turned white as well as lots of the rest of skin (not warts) from the band aid.
second day the warts turns ugly yellowish grey, then later that day black, then one of them actually fell off
3rd day was kinda of over kill but i wanted the job done, it stung like a mofo, but try to get one some pleasure from the pain knowing that your actually killing the warts. They had all turned black at this point and the skin surrounding my skin had become sensitive and red, i highly suggest NOT getting super adhesive band aids and just normal ones for you skins sake.

After the third day i stopped the ACV treatment and began the healing process. Where the ACV was had become a huge scab and truly looked like i had leprosy or something on my penis, scary stuff but you have to tough it out and pay no attention to it, or youll go nuts lol.

I made a little solution to hydrate and sooth the ACV area consisting of 1 tb spoon aloe 1 teaspoon Vit E oil, 3-4 drops of Tea tree oil, take a spoon n whisk it in a cup till it becomes a light green paste and apply gently. I found the tea tree oil VERY soothing after the burning from the ACV. It took 7 full days from start to finish for the scab to fall off, do no pick though or you will scar, just continue to add vit E oil or the full on paste a few times a day.

So far as i write this (3 weeks later) my gw appear to be gone and just some light pink skin remains.

THIS METHOD out of anything i have tried WORKED. NO embarrasing trip to the clinic, NO pricey BS internet topical, NO pain and torture compared to having liquid nitrogen on my package.

It ENRAGES me that the medical industry purposely holds back information to the average person, the bloody doctor could have just told me to get some Acv drop that on a few times a day n boom no more warts, but where would the profit in that be. Its truly sickening that they have made a world wide business out of your sickness. GOD BLESS sites such as this that give free information to an information starved populous, this is all the ranting i will do on the subject act far as the fda n medical industry simply in respect to this site.

DO this technique today, i would never have spent an hour typing this out if it was a lie.
This saved my mental health do it, do it now!

God bless"
