I bought "No more nail fungus" online but help little. I read online about apple cider vingar, it was unbelivable with in 15 days I saw white nail is growing and black staf coming out form my nail. (i had sever nail fungus) now I am happy with the result. solomon"
Replies07/28/2008: Joe from Elk Grove, california replies: "I was told by a foot doctor to use tea tree oil twice a day directly on my toe nails with the fungus. he said it might take a whole year to kill the fungus. And to allow time for the nail to grow back. I did this, without any change in the problem. Now I hear apple cider vinegar has the medicine power to kill toenail fungus. but I am confused. because the distilled acv medicine quality or pasturized acv is dead vinigar, no healing power. Can I use just regular acv from the grocery store, or do I have to buy the raw unfiltered acv? I'm hearing ___ makes the good stuff."
08/23/2008: Dennis S from Galesburg, Ill. replies: "Responding to the individual who was wondering about ACV and nail fungus. This is something you need to try for yourself. Nothing works a hundred percent for everyone. As to which to buy, don't waste your time on the type from the grocery store as you mentioned or for that matter any other average store unless they do carry the ___ line. Do it right and get B____. In the better health food stores. It is the real thing as you put it. The life (the Mother)is still in it and can help in many other ways than just a nail fungus problem. Good Luck"
[YEA] 08/25/2008: Trinh from Houston, TX replies: "1. Soak both feet (to get rid of the fungus on my big toe as well as preventing other toes from being infected) with distilled vinegar everyday for 30 minutes.
2. Rinse with water and use paper towels to dry feet.
3. Soak cotton ball with hydrogen peroxide and dab it on all toes.
4. Blow dry feet.
5. Apply fungus cream on feet.
6. Wait for about 30 minutes and apply Penlac on all toes.
7. I wore only open toe shoes, and I don't even cover my feet with a blanket at night!
I did the above steps everyday and my big toenail looked beautiful in only 3 months! As you can see, I used vinegar, hydrogen peroxide, antifungal cream, and Penlac. My theory is that if one doesn't work, then at least the other will, or the combination of all 4 is just too powerful for the fungus to survive."
[QUESTION] 01/28/2009: Chris from Montreal, Canada replies: "I started soaking my feet in pure ACV every day for 30min. I change the ACV every 7 days. Is that enough or should I change it more often? Thank you in advance for any information! Chris"
10/23/2010: Fleabag from Liverpool, Uk replies: "I keep reading about unpasturised ACV with the "mother". I've been to a national store and found the natural stuff, but there's no cloudy "mother" in it. I was left unsure about whether it would do... But the bottle states that it's organic & unpasturised"

[YEA] 02/07/2008: Linda from Clyde, Texas writes: "I've used ACV for many problems including fungal infections. When my son came back from Iraq he had a horrible case of athletes foot. I used 1 cup ACV and distilled water as a foot soak and the infection cleared up completely. He only needed to do the foot soak 1 night. Also, I developed that horrible toenail fungus like my mother had...thick yellow nails with a flaky exudate underneath...I started soaking my toenails in ACV straight from the bottle. After a 10 minute soak, I would use a q-tip and get the ACV up under the nail. Within a week, I had healthy growth of my nails. Now they are completely normal. The prescription for this was $600 which I couldn't afford. The ACV was $3.95 and I only had to use a shot glass of it every night for a week to clear up the problem. Once new growth was healthy, I stopped the toe soaks and have not had to use it again.
I've used ACV to get rid of ringworm too. It works as quickly as black walnut hull extract. Just dab it on with a cotton ball, and BLOW as it burns. It may burn, but it works.
Finally, I worked in Iraq for a year and developed a horrible fungus in my sinuses and had to have emergency surgery. The fungus would always come back and I finally cleared the infection by using ACV in my nasal irrigator every day. I put 1 mL of ACV in a WaterPik bowl, with warm water. It burned and made my eyes water, but I could BREATHE! Anytime I have symptoms of that fungal infection, I immediately start using ACV in my nasal wash. Anytime I have the slightest symptom of cold or sore throat, I use a shot glass of plain ACV and the symptoms are gone with 1 dose. Now my BP is getting high, so I know what to do...I never should have gotten off of it. This is a great site by the way. For beauty, I've used a water/ACV mixture to tighten pores and to eliminate dulling from shampoo. My dogs get 1 mL of ACV in their drinking water every day and NEVER have fleas or ticks. I don't have to purchase expensive flea remedies. Just a little ACV will do it, but you have to be consistent with it."
Replies07/24/2011: Carlji from Davis, Ca replies: "I have just started using Apple cider vinegar and Hydrogen Peroxide to soak my feet. No idea whether it will cure the toenail fungus, but the irritation between my toes is gone. My feet feel cool and dry during the day, not clammy. (I am wearing sandals with socks. If I were wearing shoes in this heat, my feet might feel worse). Additionally, after a two minute soak, I can further trim my mis-shapen toenails. This makes using the vinegar/peroxide soak worth it to me, whatever long run effect it does or does not have on my toe nail fungus. Let you know about that in a couple of months."

[YEA] 08/23/2007: Jim from Gainesville, FL writes: "I had a fingernail fungus develop on every finger on one hand, and didn't want to take prescription meds. A doctor friend of mine advised that soaking the nails in ACV every day would eventually kill the fungus. He said it would take time but be patient. I started soaking my fingernails for 15 minutes every day a year ago. All of my nails have SLOWLY grown out healthy except the tip of one nail is almost healed. It has been a slow process, but it works - with no meds!"

[YEA] 01/12/2006: Newbie from Canada writes: "I have been using ACV for the past few weeks to treat a nail fungus that has occupied a place under my toe nail for the lst 4 years. However I just noticed that (Earth Clinic's) recommendation is not to drink ACV straight?! I was drinking 2 Tablespoons in the morning, and tried 2 tablespoons in the morning and 2 at noon, and am now experiencing a pain in my side. I have not taken any ACV today at all and am hydrating myself to flush it out. Anyone ever experience this at all? On a positive note I see new nail coming up, as the yellow, white streaks under the nail are disappearing slowly. I am also using a combo of distilled vinegar water after a shower on infected area, then dab with tea tree oil, and then add vix. Working very well! Any advice on my side pains though? Its on my left side, maybe its my liver or something?? It just happened and I wonder if its because of taking such a concentrated amount of ACV. Please advise :)"

APPLE CIDER VINEGAR AND COCONUT OIL

[YEA] 09/17/2007: Suzie from Huntington Beach, CA writes: "Well, I am not positive, however, all I can tell you is that after years of fungus on my two big toes... It's now gone!!! You name it I tried it... I thought it was from salon pedicures, then, I thought damage to my nail beds from running and maybe my toes hitting the top of my shoes... Well, needless to say... I just couldn't get the fungus to go away!!! Then my life was changed by this site! I started taking ACV (Apple Cider Vineger) and VCO and I am now fungus free! I was taking the coconut oil orally ( 3 t. a day) and it made me bloated so I didn't take it for more than a month I'd say... However, I did use it as a moisterizer every night after my shower and I would specifically rub it around and under my toe nails... I cannot believe that the fungus is gone!!! Honestly! I share my story every where I go! Nail shops really need this information to pass onto their clients... Fungus makes you feel so dirty... My beautiful toe's have returned! Thank you! Earth clinic and friends!"
Replies02/06/2011: Sue from New York replies: "To: 09/17/2007: Suzie from Huntington Beach, CA - You don't say if you did the ACV daily soak - or whether you took it orally. Which was it? And what was your formula either way? You were clear with the coconut oil, which I am grateful for! Great story! "
11/05/2011: Pete from Fort Collins, Colorado replies: "I eat VCO and cook with it daily for its healthy properties. I started using it on the bags under my eyes and they were gone it a week with tight young looking skin there. I thought this to be amazing and started using it on my bad toenails. I don't think this will work by itself so I'm going to start the organic ACV treatment. The VCO will probably make the sore skin around the toenails a lot better though. Maybe use it after I heal my nails with the ACV. I also would like to know how you applied the ACV and/or if you drank it too. Thanks in advance."

[YEA] 08/31/2010: Jane from Worcester, Massachsetts/usa writes: "About 10 mos. ago I developed a fungus in one of my large toenails. I never had that before so I didn't know what it was. My nail started turning yellowish brown in color and it spread across most of the nail. I was freaking out. I went to see a podiatrist who told me the bad news and told me this might never go away and could spread to my other nails! He sold me an expensive tube of cream. I saw him a few more times and he basically did nothing to help the problem. I applied the cream for 7 months and saw no improvement. I spent the summer trying to hide my feet and avoiding the beach and pools. I love wearing pretty sandals in the summer. The doctor told me not to try home remedies that I might read about because they don't work. But I didn't listen to him. I decided to try the apple cider vinegar and hydrogen peroxide solution I read about. I mixed it half and half in a small bottle and started applying it on and under my toenail at least twice a day. I keep my toes exposed to the air as much as possible at home and only cover up when I go out. It's been less than a week and it's like a miracle! I noticed improvement the very next day! The fungus has stopped spreading and the new growth looks nice and healthy! Hopefully it continues that way and by next Spring I can wear pretty sandals again and end the embarrassment! So for those of you who are ready to give up.... There is hope! Maybe this will work for you!"

APPLE CIDER VINEGAR, BORAX

[BETTER BUT NOT CURED] 08/09/2011: Elizabeth from Balcatta, Perth Western Australia writes: "I want you all to know my story. I have had a horrible existence due to bad skin that all my life, was diagnosed as eczema until I was 32. I went to a natural doctor here who prescribed me pau d' aco tablets after diagnosing me with fungus. He said it would take a year, but this tablet would cure me permanently as this fungus has to be killed very, very slowly.
I can't tell you how much I cried when I was told it was fungus, so instead of taking his recommended dose, I thought I'd increase pau d' aco and kill it sooner. I was on it for eight months and my skin went absolutely haywire. I had big sores, deep scratch marks, and the itch was absolutely unbearable, not to mention the deep scabs that I have to pull from my scalp on a daily basis. I got off the tablet.
These scabs are painful to touch but even more painful if I leave them. I have to dig them out and they leave a huge pit there. I have been picking the same ones for over twenty years. I have lost hair and sometimes broken nails trying to dig them out, but once they are removed, my skin feels better. It's either been scabs or holes for me. Then I discovered this site.
I have just had a shower and used Ted's borax, apple cider vinegar and water shampoo, which I tried all over my body with a buff puff sponge, because I got relief from it in my scalp and my skin feels soft, and my body feels at ease. My hair right now feels so beautiful! I rinsed it out with more apple cider vinegar after and it feels soft and shiny! I purchased the borax from Woolworths. I hope there arent any long term affects as we use that stuff to clean in Australia. I am scared of carcinogenics. ( I have even used selleys rmk, a mould cleaner. I don't recommend that. It's crazy I know as I was so desperate to kill this fungus, as it can't even be tested for.)
I had sores on my shoulders and Teds shampoo recipe which I made up, has brought the itch and the redness down. I will give this time and write back to this website to let you all know how I am doing. Thankyou Ted for giving me a great relief to this horrible disease I had to endure for 39 years. God Bless You for this site. Elizabeth P. XxxxxxXx"

APPLE CIDER VINEGAR, BORAX, HYDROGEN PEROXIDE SOAK

[BETTER BUT NOT CURED] 09/22/2010: Deirdre from Atlanta, Ga writes: "I think (big sigh of relief) I am finally able to report a good remedy combination for clearing nail fungus after trying many different treatments the past couple of years.
Ingredients:
Apple Cider Vinegar
Borax
Hydrogen Peroxide
Hot water
I add 1-2 tablespoons of borax to hot water, wait until it dissolves, then add equal parts of organic apple cider vinegar, water and 3% drug store peroxide (I eyeball this, might be about 1/4 cup of each). Note: it's very important that you find a dish that allows you to soak as much of the top part of the foot as possible. I soak in this concoction for 30 to 45 minutes every day (sometimes more, sometimes less)... I do take a 1 or 2 day break from time to time.
Glad to report that the nail growing in on the big toe looks perfect! I am not touching it this time! (Filing the nail down really set me back last spring)
To Bill from the Philippines... I tried your formula (borax, hydrogen peroxide and milk of magnesia in June when you mentioned it here on EC). After 1 week, the fungus turned from yellow to white, and slowly started to clear from the nail. Then one day the top of my big toe, just below the nail, started to itch like crazy, like poison ivy (but more likely athlete's foot). I must have scratched it in the middle of the night because the next morning it was raw and oozing (yuck)... Shortly after that the fungus returned to the base of my nail. I tried your formula again for another few weeks and didn't seem to be getting very far. I am theorizing that unless you apply these anti-fungal remedies to as much of the foot (and in between the toes) as possible, it is very difficult to get rid of the fungus. Fingers crossed. My nails are growing out so fast (thanks to a daily glass of homemade milk kefir and a partial raw food diet) I think my nails might be clear by December. Will report back with y'all again then."
Replies09/23/2010: Bill from San Fernando, Luzon, Philippines replies: "Hi Deidre... Wonderful to hear that you have finally rid yourself of and conquered the dreaded toe-nail yeast. I now also have a complete set of pink toe-nails for the first time in years!!
For me, it has all been a fairly long and fascinating road in trying to completely understand the way natural herbal remedies and natural body chemicals work to successfully heal our bodies. Now, I always make a point, even with skin or other outside body problems, to attack the infection/problem both topically as well as internally. In my own specific remedies, whether herbal or otherwise, I've always found that the regular internal use of magnesium chloride(10 drops mag oil in a half glass of water/day or transdermally), 5% lugol's iodine(high dose - 2 drops a day) and vitamin C powder(as ascorbate - megadose 5 grams a day), borax(weekly/monthly), fulvic acid(removes body toxins -- 10 drops, twice a day a day, in water), Ted's BS based alkalizing protocols(particularly Ted's citrate remedies) and dessicated liver (containing all necessary minerals, amino acids and vitamins for the body -- 3 large tabs twice a day) all seem to act synergistically and very positively on my own body with respect to increased energy and healing capability. I usually combine all the mineral and vitamins mentioned above into a drink taken with water -- twice a day outside mealtimes(taken after lunch and in the evening). The dessicated liver I take at mealtimes. And that's my preventative routine, which is all pretty non-intrusive to my own lifestyle. This preventative regimen is simple to follow and is relatively flexible and variable according to my needs. Apart from their many other benefits, I regularly use this standard combination as an efficient body-balancer, to increase the efficiency of both the body's hormone system as well as to put the immune system into turbo mode -- and to simultaneously create a very bad and unpleasant body terrain for any invading microbes. As a result, I haven't been ill with flu/cold etc for about 4 years now.
As an example and perhaps as more evidence and proof for the above, my girlfriend, who is a Filipina, recently caught a really nasty sore throat. She had an annoying dry cough, tickling sore throat, with bad headaches and nasal problems, and had difficulty sleeping because of aggravation from the aircon(I live in the tropics).
When she had caught this bug, I also noticed odd changes in my own nose and throat -- I was becoming ill with the same bug -- so I immediately upped my dosages/frequency of Ted's alkalizing remedies and minerals, vitamins etc as described above, to much higher dosages taken several times a day(this was all I did). The result was that my girlfriend's sore throat problem lasted for well over ten days but I never caught her bug, it never took off -- even though some of our friends caught the bug from her and suffered too, so the bug must have been quite contagious. I must also add that my girlfriend has a very good diet. Being a provincial Filipino, she eats fruit regularly and eats fish and vegetables with every meal(she even gets wihdrawal symptoms if she doesn't eat fish every day!! ... LOL). My girlfriend also prefers going to the doc rather than taking natural remedies, which is her own choice for sure. I prefer avoiding all anti-biotics and drugs whenever possible because of my past candida problems and experience."
10/03/2010: Deirdre from Atlanta, Ga replies: "Hi Bill. Sorry for the delayed response. I have been meaning to respond to you since your post!I absolutely agree that you must attack fungal infections both externally and internally. I will have to try out the desiccated liver supplements at some point. I recently discovered an iridologist in our city and after many years of being interested in the subject, went and got my irides read. She was amazingly accurate, I must say, and told me that most of my issues have to do with being overly acidic. I haven't tested my pH for some time and when I went home and started to test again, found that I was indeed in the 4.0-4. 5 range! So I have been working to get my pH more alkaline, not an easy feat, and experimenting with the best concoctions to raise alkalinity (fresh green juice is the best in my opinion).
Quick question - even though they are now pink and without signs of fungus, are you continuing to cover your toes every so often with the milk of magnesia/borax/h202 solution or are you confident that you have eliminated the fungus from your body?
Thanks again for all your wonderful advice on Earth Clinic.Deirdre"

BAKING SODA

[YEA] 02/21/2008: Jessyka from Memphis, TN, USA writes: "I had the horrid nail fungus many years ago and took Lamasil to clear it up. When my father failed to do the same, the fungus returned years later, both pinky toenails now fully infected. Without the money for the medicine and the will to again risk its side-effects, I lived with it. 11 days ago, I adopted a baking soda regimine for other reasons (cancer preventative). Today, my right pinky nail simply fell off when I was drying after my morning shower. Beneath, a new nail - a perfect nail - was found growing in. Nothing else in my diet or lifestyle has changed other than the baking soda addition to my routine. Most Americans' lifestyles and diets leave our bodies too acidic for good health. Baking soda balances the bodies Ph, creating a more alkaline system. I mix 1 teaspoon in a glass of water at bedtime. Ideally, it's recommended taken in the morning with no food or drink for 1 hour before or after; however, as I'm hypoglycemic, I have to have my Coca-Cola (others have coffee) first thing each morning, so I don't drop dead. Regardless, I've noticed a number of improvements since adopting the baking soda routine (which is terribly easy to do - quick and simple). I'm sleeping better, my skin is clearing up, and, lo and behold, my toenail fungus is obviously dead... in eleven days!!! [Insert delighted giggle here] I couldn't believe it when I discovered the old infected nail barely holding on and falling away with the first touch and a shiny new healthy nail beneath (even if it is small yet). Now, I'm watching the still-infected nail on the left, and yes, it's got a line of "disconnection" appearing. I recommend giving the baking soda a try and do so for more reasons than defeated nail fungus. Go ahead, google "baking soda" and see how much you discover. In some European country (think it was Italy or Germany), a doctor is actually curing cancer with baking soda therapy, even in serious cases where changing the bodies Ph to one more alkaline is making all other treatments (as chemo) doubly effective. Cancer cells cannot thrive or spread in an alkaline environment. And consider this - it's in your kitchen. You cook with it. You eat it. It's non-toxic, has no ill side-effects, costs almost nothing, and even whitens teeth. I can't say everyone will have the astounding all-around results I have so quickly encountered, but I'd have to encourage them to give it a shot. It's too easy to implement not to try. That's one teaspoon baking soda stirred into one glass of water, once a day, preferably in the morning (but it doesn't seem to matter), with no food or drink for an hour before or after. Good luck."
Replies04/13/2009: Myke from Colorado Springs, CO replies: "I have a question about the baking powder treatment. I've read on another site, to only take baking powder for 3 weeks or it will change the ph or alkalinity (I can't remember which), of your body to much and cause other problems. Hopefully the original poster will respond. How often and how long have you been drinking the Baking Powder water mixture? Also confused about the ACV treatment. It seems some people drink it as well as applying topically? Is it safe to drink ACV, and how much per day?"
EC: Note: Remedy is baking soda, not baking powder ...

06/02/2009: Whisper from Timmins, Ontario writes: "In response to Janice from Coloma, please do not double or try to alter the recipe, its simply 1tsp to 3tsp of Maple Syrup, you start at low heat which is a 6 on the dials after it comes to a boil which would be about 2 minutes reduce it to 3 and keep on stirring, caramel brown would be the color once done. Do NOT leave in freezer too long otherwise your going to make it hard as rock.
I currently have two friends who are trying it out, one has been on this for three days now and we are now seeing little dark dots on her planters wart.
Another has sebaceous cyst on his head, he's double the dosage, taking one recipe in the morning and one at night, it being his first day of using this he says "the cysts on my head didn't hurt today" his head was hurting so we'll see what happens in a few days. I'll keep you posted on results of the two people.

For one thing, it is way cheaper than maple syrup (anyone notice how the price almost doubled last year when there was a supposed poor yield, but have not come back down at all??), but also this method of heating and allowing to cool and harden and then cutting off a piece in solid form might make the taking of BSM on a daily basis easier for those of us who really have a hard time taking the stuff in liquid form.
Is there any reason why the BSM might prove a less effective trojan horse in which to conceal the baking soda than the maple syrup?
Would the nutrients in the BSM be adversely affected by bringing the BSM to a boil in the manner described?
Thanks!
Sim"

[YEA] 05/21/2009: Whisper from Timmins, Ontario Canada writes: "Fungus and Cancer:
I've used baking soda and maple syrup to cure fungus that I had on my big toe. In a matter of 3 days of taking one batch of this every day I saw the difference.
What I did, in a small pot I put 1 teaspoon of baking soda and 3 tsp of maple syrup I heated it up on medium (setting at 5) then reduced to 3 to allow it to boil for 5 minutes in all. Do not try to double the recipe otherwise you take away the effectiveness. Before it cools down too much I transfer onto a sandwich bag (not sure if this is wise, but that's what I've used so far) and I've put it in the freezer for about 3 to 4 minutes to let it cool and once cooled it comes off the plastic very easily, now don't let it sit in freezer too long otherwise it'll get real hard. Check it often and when it comes off then its ready to make into small pieces, I find its like making toffee, I twist it so that it looks equal lengthtwise and then take the scissors and cut into small sizes, once that is done I then take half of what I've cut and swallow them down with water. Some have eaten it straight from the pot I can't handle the taste and it seems to work just as well.
I learned this at another site and was wanting to share it since I've gained so much more from this site. APPARENTLY, HEATING it is VERY important. the molecules of the salts and sugars must be bonded by heat. THE FUNGUS OR CANCER loves the sugars of the syrup but then the attached sodium bicarbonate is A LETHAL TROJAN HORSE. I didn't use this for cancer but this information was given along with the fungus."
RepliesEC: This therapy is called the "Jim Kelmun Protocol"
05/22/2009: Whisper from Timmins, Ontario Canada replies: "Sorry I tend to differ from your link that you've posted I don't believe it to be The Jim Kelmun Protocol.
It's the study done by Dr. Tullio Simoncini he is surgeon, specialised in oncology, diabetology and in metabolic disorders. More over he is also Philosopher Doctor."
05/24/2009: Janice from Coloma, Mi replies: "I just tried making a batch of this. I didn't have a real small pot and figured 4 tsp is really not very much so I tried to make it in a metal measuring cup (1/2 cup). I couldn't cook it the five minutes because it foamed up so high I had to take it off the burner. What a hoot! Next time I'll try it in the full cup or buy a really small pot. It's in the freezer now. Hopefully it will come out o.k."
EC: Please let us know if it cures nail fungus.. very curious!
[NAY] 05/30/2009: Rena from Mineral Bluff, Georgia replies: "Hi Whisper From Timmins,I did this recipe to the T for 5 days and still did not notice a difference, and by no means cured. Did your nail fungus get cured after 3 days or did you just notice a difference? At this point I have to give your remedy a big nay. I also remember Janice from Coloma was doing this recipe as well, I would like to hear back from her on this as well, Peace, Rena."
03/24/2010: Ellen from Redwood Shores, Ca replies: "What ever remedy you try, even if it were to kill the fungus, is NOT going to change the nail as it exists. You can only hope that in 4-6 weeks that you start seeing pink at the base of the toenail. Yes, it takes that long! Most people stop way short with their treatments."

BETADINE
02/10/2011: Lynn from San Diego, Ca writes: "I've had mild toenail fungus for 10 yrs (only sympton is thick toenails) yet I had bunion/hammertoe surgery 2 yrs. ago and since then the 2 hammertoenails have been normal; they are flat and thin and look great. Was it the Betadine applied just prior to surgery? They were wrapped for several weeks following the surgery. What made this happen? I need to know?"
Replies03/01/2011: Lynn from San Diego, Ca replies: "I'm still waiting for response to my betadine question regarding toenail fungus. It completely eliminated the fungus on 2 of my toes after hammertoe surgery (they've been normal for 2 yrs. ). Anyone (esp. With some knowledge) can you comment on this? It's very messy stuff but I'd like to apply it to all my toes. At that time it was used just prior to surgery ONCE and fungus gone. Please advise. Thanks"

BLEACH

[YEA] 09/26/2011: Barb from Suwanee, Ga Usa writes: "Tried everything to save a gross toenail on husband's big toe - he was about to lose the whole nail to fungus. Very thick, woody, yellow and lifted up... Ugh. We put Clorox or Purex bleach (full strength) into a small basin and he put just his toes into it and soaked for about 10 min. Wiggling the toes so the skin would allow bleach underneth the toenail. You will see yellow dusty-looking stuff start coming out from under the toenail going into the bleach, and after probably 5 or so minutes, we took the foot out and dried it with a towel (it kind of ruins the towel, so use one you don't care about... We used paper towels). The next day there is more of a healthy pinkness to the nail, and we repeated this procedure in about 4-5 days. This totally got rid of the fungus, and now his toes are all perfect. About every 1-10 months, we do a fingernail that looks yellow, or whatever needs doing. Usually, drs. will tell you this fungus stuff comes with age, but we feel we solved it. Don't do it too long or too often because the bleach will feel like it is burning. Pills for fungus are quite hard on the liver, so be careful of those prescriptions..."
