[YEA] 02/20/2007: Regina from Seoul, Korea writes: "I'm so happy that I chanced upon your website. Yesterday was the last day of the Lunar New Year holiday here in Seoul. I'd gotten lazy and just reheated some leftovers because I was going to visit a friend who was set to move to China today. The visit went fine and I made it home okay, but about 4 hours after eating, I got horribly sick.
I threw up and thought that was the last of it. However, since I am an insulin dependent diabetic, I was concerned about how it might affect my blood glucose level. I drank some grape juice and went to sleep. I woke up an hour or two later unable to keep the juice down and threw that up. Hmmmmm. Okay, now I'm concerned about dehydration, so I drank a cup of water and went back to sleep. After an hour or so the same thing happens again and that was just frightening to me. I couldn't keep down water!
I ran a search and found your page on food poisoning and the ACV remedy. I figured why not as I was headed straight to the emergency room if I kept being unable to hold anything, including water, down.
I drank maybe two tablespoons full of double strength ACV (it's all I had.) I immediately felt better. I went back to sleep and woke a couple of hours later feeling pretty good. I figured I'd drink a bit more and go back to sleep. I slept well again with no vomiting. In the morning when I woke up I figured I'd top off my ACV doses with another. This time however I did throw up. I figured that was okay since one of the commentators said that happened to them too. I mean maybe it was the last purge of bacteria?
Anyway, I called my nurse in the morning. She recommended a sports drink, Pocari Sweat, to replace lost electrolytes. After that last ACV purge I slept like a baby again. I really do think the ACV and that last purge in the morning is what kept me from having to go to the doctor today. I'll definitely use this as a remedy in the future. Thanks."

Managed to get to the computer and check google, found your site apple cider remedy - so we both went for it - yuck, but it worked. Both got a night's sleep - cramps wore off and feel ok today, just tired. Thanks heaps."
Replies[YEA] 03/30/2011: Betty from San Francisco, Ca replies: "I had food poisioning last night it came on emidiatley after I finished my dinner of chicken and swiss chard. I was OK within an hour after sipping a cap full of ACV in a small glass of water. I have been drinking ACV for 2 years now in a cup of warm water with a cap full of ACV, I drink it all day long everyday. Once in the begining I made the mistake of drinking it straight, which burned and gave me heartburn. To all thoes people who gag at ACV, don't drink it straight have it as a tea even add some lemon and honey it will taste just like lemon tea. I have asked my dentist if my teeth enamel is ok and he always confirms it's ok. I never have plain water after."

[YEA] 01/07/2007: Manny from NYC writes: "Came home from a long days work on friday [1/5] and resigned myself to eating some chinese food in the fridge - it had been in the fridge for 3 days. Well I downed the food with a harp's brew. Went to sleep at 12am. By 3am I was UP. Oh man. What followed was hours of mediation between the bathroom and bedroom as I pleaded for some higher power to let go of me and move on the next mope. At around 2pm [1/6], I went online and started looking..searching...then I stumbled on this site. What did I have to lose?...U tell me lol. After more bouts with the inner demons ripping my poor tummy to shreds, I was able to head to the store to pick up a bottle of apple cider vinegar. I couldn't find a teaspoon as I left the house so I took a small plastic cup. Well I poured myself a shot size of vinegar while still in the parking lot. By 5:30pm, I was in bed praying and hoping this would be the last. It is now 6:35am [1/7]..after a long night of sleeping. I woke up to feeling quite better. THANKS!!!!! Never again with left over chinese food. The ACV is sitting in the fridge. Yesterday was almost 70degrees in JANUARY and I missed it. Ohh well. At least I'm ready to tackle the work week."

Threw it up and that was the end of it, literally. I had never heard of it before. Made a believer out of me. Just wish I was told about it eight hours earlier!"

[YEA] 12/05/2006: Donna from Corona, Ca writes: "After getting the cure for my daughter's bad cough and cold from this site, I came back for a cure for my 11 yr old son's food poisoning he got from eating McDonald's. He was sick in bed and I gave him 2 tablespoon of Heinz apple cider vinegar I had gotten from the grocery store earlier for my daughter's cough. After taking it, my son went fast to sleep and didn't even throw up. The next morning when he woke up, he was fine and ate breakfast without any other problems, now that's a miracle cure. He had food poisoning before and was throwing up constantly and up all night. Thanks to everyone involved at this site for being a blessing to us all. May god bless you!"

[YEA] 11/22/2006: David from Plano, TX writes: "Two hours after eating a chicken sandwich I came down with Food Poisoning. After vomiting for nearly an hour, I decided to research the web for a cure. I came across this site. Feeling the way I did I was willing to try almost anything. I tried the Apple Cider Vinegar. It burned going down! However, it was nothing a person could not handle. I felt bad for another 1 1/2 hours, but no more vomiting I was ready to try another dose, but decided to eat some crackers instead. I have to say I am feeling much better, not perfect, but better. I will definitely use this remedy again should food poisoning strike!"

[YEA] 08/20/2006: Javone from Brooklyn, NY writes: "After eating Taco Bell's steak bowl for lunch on Friday afternoon, my stomach was immediately irritated. By the time I got home I was bent over in pain. This was about 5pm. At 7pm, and every 2 hours after that I lived at my toilet bowl. At one point during the midnite hours I lay on the bathroom floor. My stomach was in so much pain. I didn't know what was wrong with me. I had my last vomit at about 5am Saturday morning. But I was still in pain. I had a fever and was beyond nausea. It wasn't until I spoke to a sorority sister that I realized that it was indeed food poisoning. Then I surfed the internet looking for cures. I came upon this site. I dragged myself out of the bed to go buy the apple cider vinegar. My mother suggested I take a tablespoon with me to the grocery store. After buying the ACV, I took 2 tablespoons immediately. And I felt it begin to work. And I mean I felt it. Well after a good nights sleep, I woke up Sun morning feeling brand new. All my pain was gone, my fever broke, and I was able to go to church. Needless to say I will be bringing my ACV to every BBQ from now on, and I found a cure for people who can't cook."

[YEA] 07/20/2006: K from Rhinebeck, NY writes: "A couple of years ago, around the holiday season, I ate out in several restaurants within a week's time. So it's hard to pinpoint just which one caused my two months of diarrhea, and what sure looked like (yuck!) worms in the stools. Dumb me should have taken ACV along with me, but I hadn't done so. I saw a doc, and it wasn't the more serious worm/parasite infection (sigh of relief), and they prescribed some kind of medicine. In addition to the medicine, I also took apple cider vinegar. I had remembered the "Folk Remedies" book by Dr. Jarvis, and re-read it the part about food poisoning. After a while, things got back to normal. If I had taken it straight, it might have worked faster... never thought to do this. Since then, I diligently tote a small bottle of water and vinegar with me, and swill it down before attacking a restaurant meal. Friends expect it of me (they should do the same!). I'll be going to a 50th H.S. reunion in a few weeks, and wish there were ACV tablets I could carry with me on the plane. No such animal, though, right -- tablets, I mean? To lug bottles of vinegar with me might not be easy, but I'll try to figure out something. Can't live without it now."

For the skeptics out there... -its probably 4am and you can't sleep anymore, your stomach is twisting and turning, your washroom hasn't seen u so often since new yrs and your near so damn desperate to try anything that'll work. You're at the right place! I ate 'bad chicken' and oh boy was i ever sorry.. .i suffered for 36 hours and finally decided to search for a cure. That's when i came across the ACV remedy. I took 2 tablespoons. To be honest it sure did taste like crap but i felt an immediate relief. I sat up for 45 mins after consuming the ACV and went to bed. When i woke up my stomach felt better and i wasn't vomiting. I'm going to stock up on ACV and i promise u will want to too. At this point, what do u have to lose? DO IT!"

[YEA] 04/25/2006: John from Miami writes: "I had started to vomit uncontrollably, in hour intervals. Even though there was nothing left in my stomach, it still occurred. I was bid ridden, and when I moved I would vomit. I thought this would go away by itself, being that I had eaten something bad. I had not stopped vomiting for almost a 24 hour period, desperate to find a remedy I googled for a cure and came upon this page. Upon drinking ACV (Heinz pasteurized Apple Cider Vinegar), my stomach immediately calmed down and within a few hours the nausea and vomiting went away. Miracle cure!"

[YEA] 03/17/2006: Rueb from Wales, UK writes: "My housemate cooked baked potatoes for us, and he didn't realise that one of them was off. Within minutes of eating it I was feeling sick, and last night I vomited bile and had diarrhea a lot and could not even hold down water. This morning I got some pepto bismol and it was fine until I drank some milk (bad move) and all the vomiting and diarrhea came back. In desperation i got on the net and saw this site - that was it - i was off to the shops to get some acv. Outside the shop I swigged 3 capfuls (a bit of an overdose) and it was surprisingly pleasant to drink. Immediately I felt stronger and my stomach stopped hurting. At home now and have just eaten some rice cakes/ dextrose tablets and feeling much better - my stomach still hurts a bit but that might be because I drank too much vinegar, and because of the pummeling it had last night. Recommended - better that Pepto bismol and natural too. I'm sold!"

[YEA] 02/12/2006: Louise from Ocala,Fl. writes: "I had diarrhea ( including blood ) almost constantly for 8 1/2 weeks after a " holiday " party at work. I received the advice of 6 MD's, 1 nurse practitioner,& several public health nurses. I had lab tests done. Besides all that , I am a registered nurse. No one knew what was wrong with me ( and yet they wanted to do even more expensive and invasive tests ). I could eat only certain things. When I would take prescription medication - I had to keep taking it. Over the counter medication stopped the diarrhea but left me in constant pain and drowsiness. This week I was blessed to remember something I heard a long time ago about apple cider vinegar. So I tried a few mouthfuls. I had already had about 6 bowel movements that day. I didn't have any more problems that day ( to my surprise ) even though I had eaten alot. My only problem now is to figure out what should I eat first...a pizza ?, chocolate malt ?, grilled cheese with tomato ? I am very grateful to the Almighty for creating such a thing as apple cider vinegar."

[YEA] 02/10/2006: Keith from Santa Ana, CA writes: "SKEPTICS....ATTENTION PLEASE!! My wife calls me at work yesterday afternoon and tells me she has to leave and go home...NOW! Why? Bad salad dressing at her favorite (large chain) eatery. I get on the net and find your site....reading up on apple cider vinegar, I was sold. I call her on her cell phone and tell her to go by the store; she tells me she doesn't know if she can even make it home, much less make a stop. I leave work myself, go by the store and pick up "the cure". I walk in the house and announce "get in here (the kitchen) and take this stuff!!" Did two tablespoons to start, and then another two in a couple of hours and two more when she was going to bed. This morning...went to work...just called me...feels fine!! A BIG THANK YOU TO EVERYONE!!"

[YEA] 08/16/2005: Amalita from Enfield, CT writes: "After eating a chicken casserole I began experiencing nausea and upset stomach. Diarrhea soon followed. I had remembered somewhere on the web and article about ACV could help. I drank about 2 0z's straight. It tingled going down, but curiously enough felt cooling right after all the way down to my stomach. I chased it with 4 ozs of bottle water 2 minutes later. That was about an hour ago. My nausea disappeared writhing 5 minutes, upset stomach vanished and I have no had any diarrhea at all. I feel completely energized and better than i have felt all day. I will definitely do more research on how to use this wonder product for other ailments!"

[YEA] 08/04/2005: MD from L.A. CA writes: "I was starving, bought a pork tenderloin sandwich, and after wolfing down 1/2 of it, noticed it smelled funny. Examining it closer, I realized it tasted off and really smelled bad. Remembered reading about ACV, so I drank a tablespoon in a 1/2 cup water and waited. And waited. Never got even slightly sick! And I have a rather delicate stomach usually. It's a miracle cure!!"

[YEA] 03/25/2005: Rebecca from Missoula, Montana writes: "I was on a trip and got what appeared to be food poisoning. I was sick for over a week and was down to puking up bile and was very weak. I could not hold down water even. I went to the emergency room at my local hospital and they could not find anything wrong with me other than that I was dehydrated, of course. They gave me some rehydrating solutions intravenously and sent me home and told me to try to drink some soup bland food. I threw that up. Not to mention they charged me $100 dollars for doing nothing. I finally called a friend of mine that was an alternative practitioner (why did I not turn to him before I have asked myself) He told me I was too acidic and that my Hiatal Hernia was popped up. I was to take a few spoonfuls of Vinegar and push my Hiatel Hernia back down. I was literally well in about 15 minutes. It was possibly the only miracle I have ever really experienced in my life. I have been a believer in vinegar ever since."

[YEA] Deirdre from Los Angeles writes: "I took a shot's worth of straight apple cider vinegar the moment I got home from a restaurant and felt a queasy stomach from the chicken I had eaten. I usually dilute apple cider vinegar in water, but knew this time it had to go down straight if it was to work fast. Remarkably, it stopped my queasy stomach within 5 minutes. I am certain I did not get food poisoning because the apple cider vinegar quickly destroyed the bacteria in my colon and stomach. Amazing!"
