APPLE CIDER VINEGAR, BLACKSTRAP MOLASSES

4 BETTER BUT NOT CURED
[YEA] 09/14/2007: Pam from Cincinnati, OH writes: "Without warning, I started experiencing pain from the fibroids I was recently diagnosed with. It seemed like right after the diagnosis the pain started even though they had probably been there for a while. I would wake up having to take four ibuprofen tablets, and that was just to start the day. It seemed like I was constantly taking pain relievers. I was praying for a natural cure and came across this website. I immediately started on the black strap molassess along with the apple cider vinegar. The first day, I waited for the pain to hit, and I'm still waiting! I was amazed how quickly relief came just by taking 1 tablespoon of the molasses and 1 tablespoon of the acv a few times a day. I feel stronger, more alert and focused, and I don't have as many food cravings. I don't know why it works but it works for me. I went from being doubled over in pain for hours waiting for the pain reliever to kick in, to enjoying my life and being more active and involved. I just have to thank God because I, too, prayed for a cure and somehow I got to this website for the answer. Thanks to all for posting and I hope what I have written will help someone else."

I am scheduled for urinary artery embolizatoin next week I have a fibroid on my uterus that is 8" and I just read this website today as a lady I met today told me about apple cider vinegar she took for her fibroids 15 years ago and they are gone! I did not beleive her. I am thinking of reschuling my surgery and giving this a try. Also I do not know where to buy the molasses?"
01/26/2009: Amrita from Houston, TX replies: "You can buy black strap molasses at whole foods."

[YEA] 05/03/2007: Lisa from Durham, NC writes: "Fibroids (Heavy Extended bleeding), Obesity, Crohns, Arthritis, Premature grey hair: As you can see, I have quite a few things going on so I am trying the ACV and the BS Molasses just started both of these. The molasses is alot easier than ACV, I noticed numbing in my tongue after sipping the ACv all day, so I will put less than 1/4 cup in 32quarts and try it again and keep adding every couple of weeks until I get up to the 1/4. I have been bleeding heavily for at least 50 days at a time, with medication or D&C only giving temporary fixs. I am only 38years young and of course the answer the doctors are heading towards is a hysterectomy. And hopefully once this onset of the bleeding is controled the two products will also start helping the other stuff. I will keep earth clinic updated on my progress. I have also been blessed with a premature grey streak since the age of 21."
06/06/2008: Mo from Baltimore, USA replies: "Try the ACV pills instead. I just started myself, so I don't know if they're as effective as the ACV, but I couldn't take drinking the ACV myself. I'm actually taking 2 ACV pills twice a day - for fibroids, fertility, & weight loss. ACV is also supposed to prevent GH outbreaks."
05/31/2009: Eileen from Roseland, NJ replies: "Right now I am sipping 8 oz of warm water, 1 TBL BSM and, 1 TBL ACV. It actually tastes pretty good. Somehow the flavors kind of balance out. I'm assuming that warm water is ok with ACV and that its ok to mix BSM and ACV together. If I shouldn't do this could someone please let me know?"
07/14/2009: Jaytee from Plainfield, IL replies: "I have just got diagnosed with fibroids two of them measuring around 5cm, uterus cyst and a enlarged uterus. I suffer from a heavy cycle, cramps and the urge to have frequent urination and constipation. I am going to try the 2 tablespoon of black strap molasses and apple cider vinegar as soon as possible I was considering other treatment but will try this first. My fear is that I dont wont to end up with a stomach like I am expecting a child when I am not pregnant, hopes this works! Will keep everyone updated"

APPLE CIDER VINEGAR, BLACKSTRAP MOLASSES, NATTO
10/07/2007: Sharon writes: "Sorry about that! I shrank my fibroid tumors. I got so excited, that I forgot the malady! Thanks for reminding me!"

[YEA] 10/06/2007: Sharon from Los Angeles, CA writes: "I am a real person and believe me when I say that you can shrink your tumors without any strange and complicated concoctions. I read a lot of posts and even tested on my self in the span of two months: one with said remedies and one without.
This is what worked for me:
* Change of diet
* Exercise
* Apple Cider Vinegar & Blackstrap Molasses
* Natto. Yes. Natto.
I exercised. If you're out of shape, just walk briskly everyday. I walk every morning rain or shine, lift weights sometimes and do yoga. Whatever you like, just move and sweat!
I cut out a lot of fake dairy/ food out of my diet [the cheese on burgers, nacho sauce, powdered cheese] and only ate real food with ingredients I could pronounce without sounding I was some type of scientist.
I juiced whenever I could. Nothing crazy, just carrot and apple for example. Lots of water as well!
I had a mix of 2 TB ACV and 1 TB BSM in a large glass of water once a day.
Now here's the kicker; Natto. Natto is fermented japanese soybeans. If you do a search, you'll find it. It looks gross to the typical American, but Natto is some powerful stuff. It's heavy in vitamin K and a compound that dissolves tumor like material in the body.
Yes. It's no joke. I eat it 3 to 4 times a week with hot rice and BBQ sauce. It makes it taste like baked beans and rice.
If you see any websites that offer Nattokinase, it's powdered Natto in pill form.
I tried everything above a month before since I have long, heavy, and tiring menstrual cycles that last 6 days . My cycle was light and it only lasted for 4 days.
Without it, it typical, painful and heart breaking.
I'm no doctor, but I can tell you from my experience that it worked. I'm not completely cured, but my cycles are no longer heavy, I no longer have mood swings and I've had more energy now then when I was first diagnosed. I've lost weight as well.
Please go to your local Japanese food market and pay a pack of natto. It costs under 2 dollars. Try it for a month, 3 times a week...that is all I ask."
EC: We emailed Sharon, asking what kind of tumors she was referring to...

[YEA] 03/11/2008: Sharon from Valdosta, Georgia writes: "I have had a very large uterine fibroid. Three months ago it was about the size of a small cantaloupe and could easily be felt. When last measured by ultrasound a couple of years ago it was the size of a 14 week pregnancy. I did not want the prescribed historectomy and have been looking for a natural cure. About Jan 8 I made some changes in my lifestyle and my fibroid is now the size of a baseball or smaller. I don't know which things have worked but, these are the changes I've made: Started Lougaol's Iodine (6-7 drops per day) BSM 1 TBSP per day, dramatically rudeced wheat consumption, regular excercise, switched to bottled water and no flouride tooth paste, and now what it turns out may be the MOST important thing. I went from drinking 2-3 diet pepsi's per day to maybe one or two a week. I will now cut that out completely after reading the report I'm attaching to here \http://myaspartameexperiment.com/ I strongly encourage anyone who consumes Aspertame and suffers from any type of tumor to read about this experiment and STOP Aspertame now!!!!"

BEETS, CARROTS, RED WINE, MOLASSES
[YEA] 09/15/2009: Angie from St. Croix, Virgin Islands writes: "I was told about 4yrs ago that I had a cyst and fibroid. I took everything possible to get rid of them and nothing seemed to work including herbal pills and cleanses. Finally my aunt prepared a mixture of 5lbs of beets, 2lbs of carrots, half a bottle of non alcoholic red wine and 2 jars of molasses. I drank this mixture twice. The first one I took one shot glass three times a day before I ate for 15 days. The second batch I took two shot glasses a day one before breakfast and one before dinner. Your cycle should be heavy for the first couple of days. Alcoholic beverages are a definite no while taking this. I went for my ultra sound today and there were no cysts nor fibroids the technicians nor doctor could believe that they were all gone. I was also told that females should drink this remedy at least once a year to prevent any irregularities."
09/16/2009: Zoe from Munster, In replies: "Angie, can you explain a process of making this mixture.Thank you."
09/16/2009: Kathy from Dubois, Pa replies: "That sounds like a great recipe. Do you chop or shred the veggies first, and do you let the mixture steep for any length of time before you use it?"

No more heavy bleeding. No hysterectomy. And the cherries taste pretty good. I have been regular for five months now. Thank you so much. I only need to reduce other sugars to make sure I don't gain weight!! It is simple and it works. Bless you all."

[YEA] 11/06/2009: Renee from Fremont, Ca writes: "I have suffered from fibroids for many, many years. My monthy periods were debilitating to say the least. The only thing that worked for me was taking Naproxen and that killed my stomach for the next few days. I had been reading about the black strap molasses and was willing to give it a try. I am so glad I did! The first month I only took it when my menstruation started and felt my cramps had subsided somewhat but the second month I decided to take it a few days before my mentruation and what a difference it made. I feel like a totally different person. I still had to take 1 Naproxen but not 4 or more like before and I probably could have gone without it all together...I will try that next month. As far as the way I consume the molasses, I just add 1 tablespoon to one of my daily green tea servings."

I knew that I had some problem in my lower stomach because I constantly had pain when my stomach felt full. The first day of my period always was rough. I don't like surgery, so I went online looking for some natural remedy. I started trying the unsulphur black molasses (1 TB), a little hot water and soy milk. After trying this once daily for two months, the pain has been gone. My periods have become normal again. This also has given me more energy and feeling of less stress."

[SIDE EFFECTS] 09/04/2009: Jennifer from New York, Ny, United States writes: "Hi! I've been reading about the Unsulphured Organic Blackstrap Molasses for Fibroids. I'm not sure how it works so I decided to give it a try. I have been taking 1 tablespoon of bsm with soya milk in the morning since Monday morning until now. I was feeling more energetic at first, but there is a few problems. All of a sudden I was bleeding on Tuesday morning. I try mixing it with water only. but it's no used either, so I decided to quit the bsm. It can't be my period, because it ended 1 week ago. My stomach got more bloated, plus I was having a headache. I stop using the bsm on Friday morning. I felt much better. My stomach wasn't bloated and my headaches went away, but I'm still bleeding. I just hope it stop bleeding. I drank some Raspberry tea to decrease the blood flow. Anyway, thank you for the bsm information."

07/15/2009: Divinity from Philadelphia, PA writes: "Blackstrap Molasses CURED my heavy bleeding from Fibroids......When I tell you this is a MIRACLE, I am not kidding. Although my symptoms were not nearly as severe as other peoples', they were still severe to me. I was diagnosed with fibroids in 2002 but only had occasional heavy bleeding so the Dr. told me to do nothing. I had no cramping or anything but within the last few months, I would get one or two days out of each monthly cycle where the bleeding was UNGODLY.....I read somewhere that it was called "flooding" where the blood would just pour out and the clots were never-ending. I would have to keep changing clothes due to the blood leaking out all over the place for 24 hours straight......I knew about the blackstrap molasses and had taken it previously for anemia but stopped for some reason. Any way, last month in the midst of the flood of blood, I took a tablespoon and I swear, withing 5 or 10 minutes, it stopped......later on that night, it seemed like the flooding was starting again so I took another tablespoon and it stopped it dead in it's tracks AGAIN. So this month I decided to take it right when the period started......this is the 3rd day of the cycle and I have been taking it 2 times a day and yesterday I took it 3x......basically every time I felt like it was starting to get heavy and EVERY time it stopped DEAD! This stuff is an unbelievabele and I want the world to know! Anyone can e-mail me with questions if they like."

After reading the success other ladies were having, I dediced to try BSM for my Fibroids. The last 2 1/2 weeks, I have been taking Unsulphured Blackstrap Molasses first thing in the morning. I take a tablespoon, mixed in about 2 ounces of hot water and about two ounces of 2% milk or soy milk. My cycle started Monday and I am happy to report that I did not cramp for two days like before. I only cramped for a short time the first day. I had one heavy day and did not pass any clots at all. Today is my last day but I'm barely flowing."

[QUESTION] 02/01/2009: Gloria Freeney from Rowlett, TX writes: "Hello! My name is Gloria Crawford Rowlett, TX, I am 44 years of age, I have been diagnose with uterine fibroids since 1996. As of Jan 2009 I went in for a yearly check-up at my OB-GYN and she stated the fibroids has increased in growth from 6cm to 8cm. I went to the Herb Mart and I was told about the BSM cause I was also told my blood iron was reading 35 which I wasn't yet on the border line of anemic yet, cause border line is 33. The OB-GYN stated I should be taking iron supplements everyday and I explained to her I can't take the iron pills, cause it makes my stomach hard and constipated. The OB-GYN stated she still recommend that I take the iron capsules everyday. So, I decided to take matters into my own hands and thats when I was told to take BSM which I started taking since this week 1/29/09. Please help me out with this, my doctor has prescribed me with the birth controls since last year which has slowed my bleeding down a lot. My question is should I stop the birth controls while taking the BSM and how much BSM should I take daily. I was told by one of the specialist at the herb mart to take 1 tblsp twice a week.
Sincerely,
Freeney"

[YEA] 04/25/2008: Diane from New Albany, Ohio writes: "I am 51 years old and for the past year I have been experiencing very heavy menstrual bleeding.February 29th I was taken to the hospital by ambulance due to how heavy the bleeding was. I was diagnosed with anemia and the ER doc did see something resembling a cauliflower growth on the cervix. I am going to be having pelvic ultrasound and probably other tests this week. During the lapse of time between that ER visit and this apppointment next week I have been out of state taking care of a sick parent and put off tests which I know is bad. I found this website when trying to figure out what I can do to get the bleeding under control until I this is diagnosed. I have been taking 1 tablespoon of unsulphured blackstrap molasses per day from the day my period ends until 10 days beofre another one is due to start. At that point 10 days before and during the period I take 1 tablespoon in the morning and 1 in the early evening. I take it straight and just drink lots of water after. I am pleased to report that the bleeding is probably half of what it was. I have had two realatively easy periods now. The only down side I can report is that my stools are slightly loose and very black by the time I have doubled that dose for 10 days. I am assuming this is from the mineral content. My stools return to normal as soon as I go back down to 1 tablespoon. I would also like to add that long before my periods became so problematic that I had become housebound for the duration I had seen eraly symptoms that there is something wrong. Three years ago I started to have night sweats. Over a period of 3 years I lost 10 pounds without trying. My body composition changed dramatically from very muscular to flacid. I went to my physician who ran tests and found nothing to be wrong. In the years to follow I was going through a very difficult time in my marriage and the stress was unbelievable. I develped a tic in my eye, I started having anxiety attacks. I have had mysterious aches and pains all over and finally my periods became very heavy. I sought help from physicains 4 times over a period of 3 years and all 3 physicians thought I looked too good to be sick and ran just a few tests which did not show any problems. They concluded that it was due to the severe stress and suggested leaving the marraige and getting professional counseling. I know my body and my intuition was telling me there is something wrong but I ignored it probably because I wanted to believe the physicians were right. Now I hope this is not cancer and strictly due to either perimenopause or fibroids. I have periods every month right on schedule every 28 days."

[YEA] 03/14/2008: Juanita from Little Rock, AR writes: "I was diagnosed with uterine fibroid cysts in Feb. of this year. I decided to take an active role in my health and see what I could do to shrink them(or get rid of them entirely) naturally. My doctor didn't want to do anything about them because I'm 48(he's hoping since I'm so close to menopause they will take care of themselves)and other than some heavy bleeding a day or two of my cycle(which were 9-16 days by the way) I wasn't having any problems, so he just wanted to "watch" them. Watch them do what? Grow? What if I'm NOT close to menopause and I'm one of those women that has a cycle until I'm 55?(It does happen). No thanks!!! I came across this website and decided to try Blackstrap Molasses. It has been a miracle! I have only been taking it for two weeks(one Tablespoon each morning) and my oh my what a change! I had noooo PMS(even my sister noticed I wasn't as grouchy), very little cramping, no bloating, normal bleeding, and noooo clotting! A happy side effect(if you can call it a"side effect")is that my skin is as soft as a baby's bottom. I can't wait until I go back to my doctor next year and he finds NO fibroids! Oh, and I'm not sure, but the few gray hairs popping in around my temple area appears to have slowed.I will take BSM for the rest of my life! I will get back to you after my exam next year!!!!"

I have just started the vitex or chasteberry but have been using normal molasses for quite some time. I had no idea it was useful for shrinking fibroids because I use it to detoxify. Also, my breakfast consists of oats, almonds, grounded flaxseeds, raisins etc."
07/28/2008: Sherry from Longview, Washington replies: "I just bought a great book for women with Fibroids. I was written by a doctor who has fibroids. It is called FIBROIDS-The compltet Guide To Taking Charge Of Your Physical, Emotional, and Sexual Well Being. Author:Johanna Skilling.
In this book they DO have a list of herbs known to help Fiorbroids and a list of some women with fibroids should NOT take: Blue and Black Cohosh, Chaste tree (Vitex), Dong Quai (also called Angelica or Dang gui), Licorice (the herb not the candy) and Mother Wart are no-no's for firoids. These herbs can make bleeding worse if you have fibroids and/or cause the uterine cells to divide (creating more fibroids) and can cause high blood pressure if taken for long periods of time.
The GOOD NEWS is there are herbs that this medical doctor and others have researched and have been found to work well for women with firoids"Beth Root (for bleeding control), Black Haw (to detoxify) Cinnamon (for bleeding) Cramp Bark (for cramping and bleeding control), Dandelion (to detoxify), False Unicorn Root (for bleeding control), Garlic (to shrink fibroids), Ginger-Hops-Partridgeberry-Raspberry leaves ( for cramping control), Shepard's Purse-Wild Yam-Partridgeberry-Nettle-Lady's mantle (control bleeding) and YARROW herb shrinks fibroids-controls cramps AND controls bleeding! This list doesn't have EVERY possible herb for every symptom but reflects information from several sources, including NATURAL HEALING IN GYNECOLOGY by Rina Nissim; THE COMPLETE WOMAN'S HERBAL by Anne McIntyre and the ENCYCLOPEDIA OF HEALING THERAPIES by Anne Woodham and Dr. David Peters. REMEMBER some plants (like ones I just listed not to take)have an effect like estrogen, others mimic progesterone-Fibroids get bigger and bled more as a result of either estrogen or progesterone, so be prepared to watch your symptoms. Some SAFE herbs for women with fibroids are listed above."

[YEA] 02/23/2008: Pauline from Merseyside, United Kingdom writes: "I have been anaemic for the past fifteen years and severely anaemic for the past six months. As I am 55 and in the midst of the menapause I just assumed that I was out of condition and overweight. I couldn't walk up the stairs without being out of breath. Last year on holiday in Florida, I was seriously considering hiring one of the electric scooters to get around the parks. My husband who has spinal arthritis and cannot walk unaided got around better than I did! I have suffered from fibroids for several years and last month my haemaglobin level was 6. My doctor wanted to take me into hospital for a blood transfusion. I said I would try the iron tablets first and see if they would help. I had a scan to locate the fibroids and discovered that I have several and an appointment was made for me to see a gyneacologist on 3/12/08 which I will attend. In the meantime I have been looking for possible cures on the internet and found your site. I have started taking BSM in capsule form because of all the positive feedback from other ladies who suffer as I do. One lady said she could feel one of her fibroids through the wall of her stomach, so I thought I would try to feel mine and sure enough, my husband and I felt one just below my navel. Today, 2/23/08, I cannot feel anything there! It has given me hope that this treatment will work and I will tell the GYN that I want three months to see if the BSM works. If the scan shows the fibroids are still there, I will have to consider an alternative cure but I am confident that the BSM will do the job! Will keep you posted!!"

[YEA] 02/09/2008: Yul. from P, South Africa writes: "(Normal) Molasses has made a HUGE difference in my bleeding from fibroids! (BUT BLACK STRAP Molasses actually extended my bleeding due to the sulphur acting as an anti-coagulant! So I'm really wondering if most ladies here are calling Molasses, BSM or Black Strap Molasses, when they're actually using the sweeter one??)
MY STORY:
I've had 11-17 day long periods within a 28 day cycle for the past 5 years now due to having a fibroid. I've also been craving ice due to iron deficiency thorough summers and winters!
6 months ago I decided to drizzle Molasses (the normal sweeter one) into my ice-cubes, and what a hit!!! I just did it for the iron, but when I had my first and 2nd periods after that, I noticed that my bleeding was not as heavy, but thought it was just my imagination. The 3rd and 4th months my periods went from 11-17 days to only 6-7 days!!! Almost NO pain, and quite a lot less bleeding, especially after the first initial heavy days.
Then I tried ADDING BLACK STRAP MOLASSES to the normal molasses (1:2). This time my bleeding (the 5th period since starting this Molasses journey) just would not stop!! It was SO heavy and SO painful, day 9 was as heavy and painful as day 2-3, and for the first time in years I had to take pain medication! The only thing I had changed was the Black Strap instead of just the normal Molasses.
Then I remembered that the lady at the health shop said that the difference between Black Strap and normal sweet Molasses, is that Black Strap contains SULPHUR. I then read up about sulphur on the internet, and saw that it acts like an ANTI-COAGULANT (which stops your body from stopping bleeding!!) and can cause strong bearing-down pains, which was exactly what I was experiencing! So I immediately stopped the Black Strap and my bleeding immediately slowed down and stopped within 2-3 days.
This past month I've just been on the normal Molasses, and my 6th period has just ended in 6 days again!! I'm SO glad I've discovered this, and can feel my fibroid getting smaller!
WARNING: Just make sure you don't overdose on Molasses!! It was very easy for me to do since I was already in the habit of eating ice all day, and found that by drizzling Molasses into my ice was so delicious that I would often prefer that over food! I was going through 1 BOTTLE (250ml) every 1-2 DAYS!!!
Molasses is very high in iron, copper, etc. These nutrients in high doses can be bad for your liver/pancreas, etc, and yesterday I was extremely weak, shaky, yelow/green/nauseas, with a temperature, after having had diarhoea for 2 days before (could be a sign of iron overdose). I immediately stopped eating my Molasses ice and feel a lot better today.
I think I'm first going to research and find out exactly how much of each nutrient is in Molasses, and how much is safe to take, so that I don't overdose and cause some serious dammage... (Scary!!)
But over-all I'm feeling amazing (before yesterday!) and everyone is saying how much better and healthier I'm looking!
I would like to know though, if most people here are calling 'normal' Molasses: Black Strap Molasses???"
