03/14/2008: Sara writes: "Good day Ted, I am writing to see if there is a recommended preventative regimen that could possibly improve my father's health conditions. My father was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes in his late twenties. His current treatment consists of daily insulin injections. With a poor diet of highly processed foods and diabetes there have been numerous conditions that have developed since his twenties. A few years ago he was diagnosed with cirrhosis of the liver (non alcohol related). At that time he was told that this was not a reason to worry and no drugs were prescribed. More recently he has developed a tumor on one of his livers (doubled in size over a 6 month period). A procedure to cut or remove the tumor has been schedule (which one will be determined at the time of the procedure). However due to his blood not having the adequate amount of white blood cells this procedure has been delayed. At this point he continues his injections, is awaiting the removal of the tumor on his liver and is trying to process the connection of all conditions. My father does not understand his own body nor the impact that years of drug consumption have had on it. Is there something he can do to improve his health? I have informed him of several natural cure contained within this site but with this combination and my lack of expertise I do not want to misinform without understanding the thread which lead to this point. There is no way to go back and make better decisions is there a way to make better decisions going forward or is it his body beyond repair? Any feedback is welcome and appreciated. Ted from Bangkok, Thailand replies: "Usually the tumor and diabetic problems come from certain occupations that cause that. For example past use of hydrocarbons, kerosine, insecticide, causes the body to recirculate these hydrocarbons and the body has no way to rid of them and is stored in the liver. Because liver is damaged and cirrhosis is ensued, is not surprising since many hydrocarbons are cancer causing. The best way out of this scenario is for me to alkalize if I found I have this condition such as 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda in 1/2 glass of water taking three times a day as the simplest possible remedy to increase oxygen by alkalinity further detoxifying the body. However a more effective remedy, I think is a simple lemon and baking soda, if I have time is 2 tablespoons of lemon juice plus 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda in 1/2 glass of water taken three times a day would help. I takes about three weeks to get proper alkalinity but needs to be continued usually. Granulated lecithin taken one tablespoon three times a day act as a fat emulsifier to detox the liver along with meals or an empty stomach I think offers the most help, especially in reducing some blood sugar Selenium 200 mcg and vitamin E 200 i.u. taken once a day is something I would do to protect against liver cirrhosis. However if I am serious about alkalizing to help save the liver I think 1/4 teaspoon of baking soda plus 1/4 teaspoon of sodium carbonate (washing soda) in 1/2 glass of water taken three times a day. I needs to be taken about three weeks to notice improvements. Given taken most of these I think cirrhosis and tumor problem should be helped by reduction in toxicity at the same time the benefits of lecithin should reduce some blood sugar issue related to diabetes. I am keeping this simple for me anyway, if I find I have a serious problem In the long run if I improve, I may take 10 drops of 3% H2O2 in 1/2 glass of water three times a day to detox the drugs and cheimcals and further reduce, that is if I do have some improvements shall I consider that, but that will have to wait and see some outcome on at least the second week. Vitamin C sodium ascorbate 1000 mg I will take almost everyday and this can begin on day one just to help raise the body's antioxidant to protect the healthy cells."

PRE-DIABETIC PREVENTION

I have been pre-diabetics many times too and was cured or at least by reduction of urinary sugar were near normal by doing certain things I found helpful. I do by the way almost regularly check my urinary sugar using the brix refractometer, not the best, but it helps me to know what foods or supplements is causing my near diabetes and find a suitable way to get my near diabetes into nearly complete remission.

'

However it should be noted that some effective remedies I used are not easily found and you may do quite a bit of search before finding them, but here it is:

 

1. Sodium vanadate (vanadium) I mixed about 200 mg of sodium vanadate in my one liter of drinking water, well shaken. It would seem, and this is supported by research that adding some hydrogen peroxide 3%, such as 5-10 drops per liter helps. It took only just 5 days to get a near normal urinary sugar, but perhaps I was taken the unsweetened cocoa too.

 

The most interesting part about the sodium vanadate is that even after I don't take it the urinary sugar is still normal. It has a lingering or long term effect despite discontinuing taking the sodium vanadate.

 

I have experimented with various remedies to get or reduce blood sugar, such as cinnamon (little effect -just increases insulin sensitivity), chromium (the dose sold in the market is too low, and taking more was not that effective), as well as many other supplements recommended by authorities.

 

By trial and error I found vanadium to be the most effective. The key it seems as you get older, the beta cells in the pancreas dies off old age and not regenerated, and hence I had to find some way to regenerate them to some extent, which I found to be vanadium (about 200 mg) and niacinamide B3 (200-300 mg).

 

If I were to mention the single biggest factor that reduced my urinary sugar, it would have to be the vanadium and some weekly small piece of unsweetened cocoa, from baking chocolate. Its the high flavonoids were even found by Japanese researchers to reduce blood sugar. They were right. There was this one day I ate chocolate, which I was hoping to raise the urinary sugar, but it caused to lower them that I was amazed on several ocassions, and I can safely say the ORAC (measurement of antioxidant) scale now has a meaning, especially the story about the 256 year old man who took chinese wolfberries and ginseng (yes, they reduce blood sugar, but the price is prohibitive).

 

2. Avoid aspartame. I was recently (about 3 weeks ago) sick of a deadly cold virus, but luckily it didn't kill me, but it did caused be to become diabetic and the virus inflammed my pancreas causing pancreatitis. The virus apparently attacked healthy cells, but in my case it also attacked the pancreas, causing the urinary sugar to go sky high.

 

In desperation, I wanted to get rid of the viruses, so I took some N Acetyl Cysteine, 500 mg. Apparently that was a mistake, as the ingredient had aspartame  as a sweetener, which caused my urinary sugar to become diabetic. Apparently the aspartame degenerate with the body's enzyme the chymotrypsin, to break down into a toxic methanol alcohol, which caused further damaged to glandular organs, such as the pancreas. The methanol always does that to me. So a simple remedy against toxic methanol for most would be the vinegar and baking soda, to resolve the inflammation caused by methanol, but that didn't work and needed to find some thing else, which turned out to be black unsweetened chocolate and vanadium.

 

3. Eat some unsweetened black chocolate, about one teaspoon once a week, and some lecithin. What did work to reverse my urinary sugar was actually eating some unsweetened chocolate, plus some lecithin, 1 tablespoon for each meal. That helped, but bigger helped were noticed when I started taking the vanadium.

 

4. The vitamin B1 thiamine and sometimes B3 niacinamde were also helpful against the methanol toxins, peripheral circulation, diabetic neuropathy and that helped to some extent, along with B50 to help with the sugar levels. This I don't need to take everyday, perhaps just twice a week just to prevent a deficiency. B1 is what I take most often.

 

5. Taurine. This I found was helpful to some extent, but it works the best taken before you sleep. Upon awakening my urinary sugar were near normal, but the taurine amino acid I used was 4000 mg, was mixed in water before sleep.

 

I have actually tried a great many supplements to find what works, but these 5 were what helped me the most, especially the vanadium. Chromium seems to have limits.

 

The cure of a diabetes in my opinion needs the pancreas beta cells to be regenerated, and the only thing I found that has some qualities of this came mostly from the vanadium. Dark chocolate was the second most effective due to extremely high flavonoids, and I believe that it was the cocoa or chocolate that has the second highest antioxidant level of food only next to Chinese Wolfberries using the ORAC scale. Lecithin were third place on its effectiveness tying closely with Taurine.

 

However these remedies to work I am assuming that I don't have a manganese, zinc or magnesium deficiency, and my body is already properly alkalized with baking soda with lemon, or just baking soda. Without sufficient manganese, zinc or magnesium, the beta cells can also get destroyed or it's efficiency in producing insulin may not be as good.

 

In the long run, people get old (just my theory) from glycation and free radical heavy metals. Therefore, anti glycating supplements includes L-Carnosine as the most important and chlorella and chinese supplements to reduce free heavy metals. If the free heavy metals are high, it produces a constant stream free radicals which damages the glands that controls the blood sugar, but it can also affect the adrenal glands, which produces DHEA.

 

I have found from time to time, the DHEA prevent me from being "moon face", which is usually a sign of adrenal insufficiency, but also seemed to help certain pre-diabetic condtions that I found synergistic with 100 mg of alpha lipoic acid. One reason why a woman bulges after her 30 years and six months was the DHEA reduction, and by the time she reaches her 32 or 33rd birthday, the urinary sugar goes up. DHEA was taken only once every two week, and the vanadium is taken once or twice a month as a preventive. That prevented the "bulge", which I found was a also a pre-diabetic too."

ITCHY FEET CURE: BORAX

I've tried so many scrubs and files and lotions in hopes of softening my feet. I suspect that I also have a systemic Candida infection, so I thought Borax would be good for my itchy feet. It should be noted that in biochemically, borax prevents sugar from reacting with the body's sugar and protein. It prevents the protein and the body's organ from glycation, which is a factor in sickness in some diabetics. Yeast infections tend to occur those with high blood sugar, but it is the borax that prevents the fungus from utilizing the sugar and hence kills off the yeast infection candida. I had regularly itchy feet, and was cured completely after taking borax 1/4 teaspoon in one liter of drinking water, only once a week and also sometimes using borax as a cleaning solution for the feet. That also reduced my skin allergies too, which I suspect is the blood sugar reacting with certain fungus and other microbes. The thick dark skin were replaced with a more normal skin because the fungus couldn't grow, which allowed the feet to be healed completely."

WHERE DO I START?

But after I have a blood test in fasting way , my doctor tell me that my kidney will be damaged in 2=8 years . I'm so depress and very sad. My hi blood pressure is 112/86, my pulse 102(always). I did apply your formula AC+BS, but my hi blood pressure is increased very hi 189/100.Oh! I forgot to let you know that my mycroalbumine/creatine is 483.11 ; memoglobin A1c 6.6 (refe.>8), my akaline phosphatase 61.,protein in urine 740. Please i need your help a lot. My body is insuline resistence. Does baking soda makes my blodd pressure hi ? I don't want to have dialysis. I'm 52 years old. I have many surgeries alreday. Thank you very much."


11/16/2007: Joyce from Joelton, Tn replies: "To Yvette (ll/12/07) I'm not TED, but I have a question. Are you a carbonated beverage addict? I became a firm believer that carbonated beverages destroy the kidneys, after running across several children 5-10 years old, who were spilling protein from their kidneys. They were all 3 -4+ proteinuria. With no other cause found in their urinalysis, I had the mothers stop letting them have any carbonated beverages - only water, milk or fruit juices to drink and return in 1 week for a repeat urinalysis. All of their repeat urines were negative for protein, except for the l0 yr. old who still checked trace (down from 4+). Her mother admitted that she had fudged and let her get a mountain dew on the way to the clinic. The reason I suspected their proteinuria was from carbonated beverages was blurbs I had read years before in some medical journals about a man who developed gross hematuria (Urine obviously bloody) but the doctor could find nothing wrong after admitting to hospital and extensive workup. His urine cleared while in the hospital and he was released & returned to work. A few weeks later, he was back in the hospital with gross hematuria again. This time there apparently was an interested intern who started comparing notes and questioning this patient and another patient with the same problem & no cause found in either case. The thing he learned about both of these men was that they worked in a carbonated beverage plant, at the bottling machine, and when they got thirsty, instead of going for a drink of water, they just grabbed an uncapped bottle from the machine and drank it.

I started asking renal patients (especially the transplant ones) about carbonated beverage ingestion). One of them said his was caused by rheumatic fever, another told me that he didn't drink carbonated beverages but did drink a lot of beer. Most of the others stated they drank from 3 to 5 a day. The fellow being checked in for his second transplant (age 32 - got lst transplant at age 25) said "I hardly ever touch one now but I used to drink the hell out of them". When I asked if he drank 5 or more a day, his wife said "more like 20 to 25 a day". I stopped drinking them myself after a bout of pylonephritis in my early thirties."

ACV FOR TYPE 2?

The leaves are eaten in small amount to reduce the body's sugar. It stimulates insulin and blocks sweet tastes receptors for an hour or two. It is also a diuretic, corrects liver, kidney and muscles problems.

For me I prefer the more convenient taking granulated powdered lecithin taken throughout the day, and take some onions and garlic before sleep. Vitamin B complex also controls the blood sugar. The lecithin lowers the oils in the body and prevents the blockage of hormone receptors that controls blood sugar."

BLACK WALNUT REMEDY?

Ted from Bangkok, Thailand replies: "Dear Tony: Black walnuts contain a powerful antimicrobial chemical called juglone. They often extract green, unripe walnuts by alcohol and use only a couple of drops.

It so powerful it can be used against internal antibiotic resistant parasites. There are a lot of potentials for this in the use against helicobacter pylori, acid reflux (where cause are microbials), yeast infection, and a host of other ailments.

The powerful chemical tend to suppress such growth can be proven by its durability of the wood against microbial decay of the wood itself and even suppresses the nightshade family of plants, including tomatoes.

Diabetes has many causes, but usually this is due very much to our processed foods are of highly oxidation in nature as opposed to antioxidation. Even ordinary bottled water's ORP readings are something like +100 to +200 millivolts, while our body's fluids are in the region of -100 millivolts.

Therefore, this tends to cause glandular problems as they are most sensitive to free radical oxidation. In some cases where the cause of diabetes are due microbials in the pancreas, the thyroid, adrenals and even the thymus, for example, it causes suppression of glandular functions and in other cases causes inflammation of glandular function, causing you to go hyper.

NEUROPATHY PAIN RELIEF?

Ted from Bangkok, Thailand replies: "If the cartilage is a problem than eat regularly 2 cups of oatmeal on an empty stomach twice a day. Supplement yourself with 250-500 mg of magnesium chloride. Magnesium of the type I prefer may be a bit harder to find but this is the one I found to be most bioavailable and effective.

Diabetic conditions should be reduce by taking lecithin everyday but the preferred kind is the granulated lecithin, to be taken along with the food you eat. Lecithin will handle most of the diabetic conditions you are experiencing. It is important to take brewer's yeast 2000 mg/day as it is rich in chromium also.

The body NEEDS to regenerate the cartilage. To do this, if you can find one is to supplement yourself with a 200 ppm colloidal silver. If you can't find it than, I guess 5 ppm will do. To prevent undue effects of constipation caused by charged silver ALWAYS add 2-3 drops of 3% hydrogen peroxide to the colloidal silver products which you buy.

A newer more fanciful way of regeneration is to apply zinc powder (1/2 square inches) to the legs and extremities as well as the area or point where cartilage needs to regenerate. You can tell whether this works or not by applying overnight. The pain will reduce by a large amounts the next day. To prevent staining caused by zinc powder, just cover it with the use of bandaid. This is scientifically proven to work, but you still need to see if it works for you or not."

Ted from Bangkok, Thailand replies: "I HAVE PROTIEN IN MY URINE 1000 COUNT. HOW CAN I REDUCE THE PROTEIN IN THE URINE. WHAT IS A NORMAL COUNT?

Everybody used different measurements. So I am not sure what measurement you are doing. Any amounts over 150/mg is proteinuria. But don't worry about measurements you can make your own observations at home. A rough guide is to urinate in a small cup. If it is cloudy, your body either have excess protein, fats, or calcium. It is a rough guide, but it does tell you that you are weak. Take one tablet of liquid capsule multivitamin for about a week will do the job. The other thing I found to work is take vitamin B complex for about a week. Actually your urine should clear within 24 hours of taking them! Another that is helpful is to improve your fat utilization, take one or two teaspoon of granulated lecithin everyday along with your food. This will improve the liver function reduce the urinary protein issues. There are several causes, improperly digested protein can also be lack of stomach acids, too high acidic blood can be a real issue, especially with me! I would recommend you starting 1/4 teaspoon of baking soda plus 1/4 teaspoon of citric acid twice per day. Within a couple of days my urine clears up. How does this work? Apparently baking soda restores my blood buffer pH and alkalizes it, while the citric acid chelates excess calcium in the blood so that with less clutter the cells can function better and thus urine clears up. It is important you must avoid milk, vegetable oils, canola oil, fried foods, and other oily foods EXCEPT unrefined coconut oil or even lard oil! The reason is simple vegetable oils is liquid and goes deep into your body and interferes with metabolism? Why? It is trans-fatty acid. It doesn't exist in nature and interferes with liver. I can cause you to be diabetes in 24 hours by taking a couple of tablespoons of vegetable oils 3 or 4 times a day. As a result, lecithin is the antidote, but you should avoid white flour also as it contains alloxan (bleaching chemical) and this destroys your pancreas, spleen and liver issues, causing liver problems.

You should also drink water by adding a couple of drops of 3% H2O2 per glass of water every meal. Ideally, 3-9 drops per glass is good. If you can get a food grade H2O2 this would be best. It will clear and detoxify your liver. Once your liver is functioning, then the protein issue is resolved. I am of course assuming that you don't eat too much meats and high protein foods, but you take an average amounts. As a result, you problem has very much to do with impaired liver function, acidic body, too much oily foods, and toxic chemicals.

B) I HAVE CHACORT'S FOOT THE DOCTORS REMOVED MY LITTLE TOE AND DID A RAY SECTION.

This is a diabetic issue. Take 20,000 I.U. of vitamin D2 every other day or every week if you want. Take 7-9 milligrams per day of biotin - NOT MICROGRAMS. Take lecithin mixed in your food one teaspoon of every meal you drink. Take as mentioned before baking soda and citric acid. Avoid completely vegetable oils fried foods, pastries and especially white flour found in cakes and bread. Take vitamin E 2000 I.U. per day. Glucogphage 500 mg/day seems to help also. An unusual method someone tested to control blood sugar was to use BHT at 250-500 mg/day, but this is a bit unorthodox and for people who are desperate. Aspirin when taken alone or along with chromium seems to reduce blood sugar within an hour. Take plenty of water of course. For one thing, aspirin seems to help chromium absorption and restore liver/spleen/pancreatic functions. The mechanisms behind this is still a mystery.

All these I mentioned will get your blood sugar to almost normal. Other that seemed to help with blood sugar, but is somewhat over hyped by the "net" is chromium picolinate, and vanadium. Brewer's yeast and garlic is helpful for diabetic conditions also. If you have high uric acid (diabetics do have this problem, usually) then take only 5 mg of lithium orotate every day. This will also reduce blood pressure and reduce sodium retnetion as well as helpful with blood sugar by allowing neural growth of control centers of the brain, in particular the hypothalamus, which regulate the body's homeostasis.

Most important of all completely stop drinking chlorinated water and fluoridate toothpaste. A good antidote against fluoridated water/toothpaste is to mix one big pinch of borax per liter of drinking water. Preferably food grade borax would be best.

Yes, it helps but not as much as those i mentioned previously. I should know! My mother is a diabetic and I controlled her blood sugar to normal using the mentioned method here. It is in my interest to get results here!"

Nonenzymatic glycation of proteins by glucose leading to the formation of toxic and immunogenic advanced glycation end products (AGEs) may be a major contributor to the pathological manifestations of diabetes mellitus, aging, and, possibly, neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer's. We tested the in vitro inhibition of antigenic AGE formation on bovine serum albumin, ribonuclease A, and human hemoglobin by various vitamin B1 and B6 derivatives. Among the inhibitors, pyridoxamine and thiamine pyrophosphate potently inhibited AGE formation and were more effective than aminoguanidine, suggesting that these two compounds may have novel therapeutic potential in preventing vascular complications of diabetes. An unexpected finding was that aminoguanidine inhibited the late kinetic stages of glycation much more weakly than the early phase."

This is because I found poeple who ate fried foods, even without the sweet foods get diabetes as a result of hydrogenated vegetable oils and the alloxin bleaching chemicals which makes white flour and white bread. Alloxin causes diabetes in mice and rats. But then so does monosodium glutamate, a major additive in all fast food restaurants AND traditional restaurants.

Now this issue is getting major debates amongst the American Indians. It seems the cause of diabetes epidemic turns out to be white bread, flour and vegetable oils after all. Every time a supermarket opens, and Native Americans suddenly died of diabetes epidemic even though many claimed they didn't eat sweets!

At my own home, I solved the problem by using pure coconut oil - un hydrogenated and for bread, we simply stop using them or substitute them with whole wheat (brown color) bread, but try to avoid white flour at all costs. White flour is found in bread, cookies, snacks, sandwiches, hamburger, fried chicken, rolls, etc."
