[YEA] 06/26/2007: Julie from Glen Ellyn, ILLINOIS writes: "I've been taking the tumerick for about 2 days already and the pain is far less than it was two days ago! I have one right in the crack of my...well, you know...and the pain has been crazy! The last time I had something like this was about 10 years ago. I went to the ER and they sent in a Dr. Boil to look at me (I'm not kidding). I said, "Great, I'm the ER entertainment for the evening." All he did was poke around, which wasn't helping, and give me some antibiotics that worked about as well as the tumeric, and I can tell you I paid way more than $5 for the antibiotics! Hey, the tumeric seems to be clearing my skin of acne, too! Anyhow, try it, what have you got to lose except your boils?"

[YEA] 06/21/2007: Aaron from Cape Coral, FL writes: "I tried the TURMERIC remedy for boils about 4 days ago, initially with little hope it would work, but in a state of desperation, since this was my THIRD boil in less than 6 weeks, and I had 2 more starting! I went out as soon as I finished reading all of the testimonials on your site, and bought a bottle of Turmeric capsules from my local GNC. That night I took three 500mg caps with dinner, and another 4 capsules before going to bed. (If a teaspoon is good, a tablespoon is better!) The next morning the boil on my stomach, which was a dark purple golf ball radiating excruciating pain the night before, was now a light purple golf ball that was starting to drain, and the pain had gone down by 80 to 90%!
In addition, one of the new boils that was just starting, (a tiny painful pimple,) started to heal, and the other one, slightly larger, while it didn't go away, it stopped growing, and with 72 hours it too drained (really like a normal pimple, only thicker discharge and more painful.)
It's now been about 4 days, and while the large boil is still draining (the core came out yesterday) and is still very tender, it is healing and no other boils are starting.
BUT!
The big BONUS is this: The arthritis in my shoulder that I've been suffering with for the last year, is gone, and even more exciting, I have been dealing with Heal Spurs (Plantar Fasciitis) for about 2 years, and have been suffering TREMENDOUS pain in my foot, every day, all day.
Within 24 hours of taking the Turmeric, my feet have COMPLETELY stopped hurting!!!I plan to continue taking at least one capsule a day indefinitely as a preventative for recurring boils, and as an apparent remedy for my Heal Spurs!!! The real miracle here is that I don't even believe in natural remedies! Thanks so much for the great advice!!!"

[YEA] 06/15/2007: Mary from Kenosha, Wisconsin writes: "I tried Turmeric Extract in capsules (300) mg. for 4 days now and it already has healed up my painful boil which was a hole with blood and pus coming out. I took 3 caplets a day. Now I'm going to continue taking it and see if it will help them from coming back. Thanks for your terrific website. I went to at least 4 or 5 doctors and they weren't helping me at all. they gave me antibiotics and also lanced them and it didn't help as quickly. I'll never trust doctors again."

[YEA] 06/12/2007: Darlene from McDonough, Georgia writes: "Update: I took a total of only four doses of the Turmeric for the horrible boil I had suffered with for over two weeks. At the end of the second day, and after only four glasses of the Turmeric, the boil is completely gone. I wouldn't have believed it if it hadn't happened to me. Thank you again for this awesome website. I'm getting ready to search out solutions for my husband and his acid reflux. You are a godsend."

[YEA] 06/10/2007: Stacy from Marion, Indiana writes: "Turmeric does work. I have been having these boils since I was a teenager and nothing the doctor did or said worked. I actually can tell after taking tumeric 3x a day for about two weeks that it works. I did have another boil come but after a couple of days there is nothing there. I didn't believe it was going to work but couldn't do nothing but try. And I am convinced and probably will take it everytime I feel a boils. And you can feel one before it gets big. Thank you for the website. JUST TRY IT!"

[YEA] 06/04/2007: Leslie from Geneva, IL writes: "This is day 4. I used the turmeric on a poltice with neosporin and also drank the turmeric, one teaspoon in a glass of water. I also put a poltice of baking soda on 2x yesterday for about 10 minutes a time and would immediately put the poltice of turmeric and neosporin back on never leaving it uncovered. The boils are now very small and scabbed over. Just one is weeping very little. I have to say I think the baking soda helped but the turmeric was the main cure. Still have itching today, must be irritation from the turmeric I think. Thanks for this cure, Leslie"

[YEA] 06/03/2007: emily from los angeles, ca writes: "Friday of last week i noticed a small little dot on my right hip, thinking it was just a plugged hair follicle or blackhead, i popped it and a little white plug came out. By that night it had grown into what i thought was a big zit. By wednesday itwas so huge, bigger than an egg, i had to go to the doctor to get it lanced. That was incredibly painful and i had an awful doctor who cut into me before i was completely numb, AWFUL experience. It hadn't drained all the way after he had taken the packing out, so i went to another doctor who packed it without an injections. that was probably the most painful experience of my life. Pus oozed out all that day and yesterday and the doctor said that this was truly a bad and very deep cavity. The packing accidently came out last night with my bandage, and the doc told me i would have to come in today to get it re-packed. I am going to cry. Luckily, i came across this site yesterday and took as much turmeric and water as i could. When i took my bandage offthis morning the lump has gone down and there was no puss!! I REALLY hope that the doc doesn't need to re-pack it now that the turmeric has worked. I will let you know..."

[YEA] 06/01/2007: Leslie from Geneva, IL writes: "This is day 3 of using the turmeric. Am taking it orally and also applying it to the boil with neosporin. The boils, which have multiplyed to 3 have shrunk. There is no longer any pain and all have broken open and are draining. This afternoon my skin started to itch intensly, had to wash off the turmeric and neosporin. Left these off for a few hours and have reapplied. I think the turmeric is affecting the boils. I am just impatient. Have a large gauze pad tapped to my cheek. Is the itching a sign of healing I hope? Will report my progress. Leslie"

This morning there is no pain and the boils are almost entirely gone. I can't thank you enough. This has been like a miracle for me."

[YEA] 05/30/2007: Darlene from McDonough, Georgia writes: "I have had a boil for two weeks now. It has been extremely sore, but wouldn't come to a head. I found your website yesterday. Since I lean more toward "Natural" remedies, I was totally ready to give the turmeric a try. I took one dose last night at 6:00 pm. It tasted really horrible, but I chased it with a small glass of grape juice, so there was no "lingering" taste. Before I went to bed last night at 10:00 pm, the boil had come to a head, opened, and was draining. This morning there is very little pain remaining. The boil is less than half its original size. I took another "dose" this morning and am expecting more healing before I get home tonight. Thank you for offering a remedy that does not put "chemicals" in my body!"

[YEA] 05/27/2007: Susan from Clifton, NJ writes: "Turmeric Cure; l read this article the other day on your site about the cure for boils. l immediately looked in my cabnet for the spice and l used it two ways. 1. a tablespoon for 2 days in the morning. 2. Took 2 Tbs of curry & Mixed with 3 Tbs of petrolium jelly to create a ointment. Put the ointment on my boil (Which was the size of a ball out of a Dime machine at the supermarket) and wrapped it with some mesh & tape. You see it was too big for any bandage. At first in the morning after it kind of burned. Nothing came to a head; However it was 1/2 the size. l put more ointment that l previously made on it and wrapped it again. 2nd day; The boil that once stuck a inch out on my leg was completely flat. However, l could still feel the ingrown hair that had caused it and their seem to be a lump inside my skin still. The area where my boil was is nothing but a slight pink oval stain where the turmeric pulled the poisons out. This is day 3, No boil- just a small bump under the skin still, so l will continue to use this until it is completly gone. This worked so much better than the operation l was told to have. Thank you for your Teriffic web site..."

Until I came across your site...and I discovered Turmeric. I put Turmeric on a recurring boil that had disfigured my back shoulder...within days the boil began to get smaller and smaller and is now almost completely gone. And the recurring site is now healing. Thank you so much for the Earth Clinic."

[YEA] 05/25/2007: Martin from Sulphur, Louisiana writes: "Developed a whopper of a boil at the waistline. Had it treated with antibiotics it went away then ANOTHER one popped up near it. Felt like "scalded skin". So they got me on the same antibiotic plus Bactrim. Just stumbled across the tumeric cure last night and got some capsules immediately. I am starting to feel some relief, I can actually get up and down out of chairs without excruciating pain (might be the Bactrim but it might also be the tumeric!)"

[YEA] 05/21/2007: Ari from NYC, NY writes: "I just got my first huge boil combined with cellulitis last week on my upper thigh. The MD put me on Cipro twice daily, an antibiotic cream twice daily, and orders for warm-hot compresses 4-5 times a day. After 4 days things were much worse and I was on the verge of admission to the ER. A friend of mine provided the link to your website. After reading many of the letters I immediately purchased Turmeric powder and also 800 mg Curcumin pills combined with Bioperine (black pepper extract - aids in curcumin uptake). Between the afternoon and nighttime I took 3 of the pills and 2 cups of the soup. I could not beieve the improvement by the next morning. It is hard to discuss percentages - so I'll stick to function. I went from hardly being able to walk to walking normally overnight. I had experienced intense pain, heat and burning the previous day, and overnight these symptoms were mostly gone. I am having trouble believing these dramatic results myself. I was skeptical when I read of similar experiences in some of the letters at the website - but I am happy to say that I have become a believer. It is amazing that a simple herb from a grocery store can have such a profound effect on health and physiology. The boil and the cellulitis are still there and it will take some more time until they go away, but, I am now feeling very optimistic about the next few days. I sincerely wish to express my gratitude for your sound advice. I would like to add that the turmeric provided enjoyable flavoring to the chicken soup - the combination worked out quite well."

[YEA] 04/27/2007: Alexander from Milwaukee, Wisconsin writes: "Three infected pimples developed quickly into boils two weeks ago on the top of my right thigh close to my knee... I tried everything. Aloe Vera, Baking Soda, Garlic, Colloidal Silver, Hydrogen Peroxide... all topically. I even tried the bottle method. After a week of experimentation, I was limping badly because of the excessive pain. That's when I read about Turmeric. I'm taking TWO teaspoons SIX times a day in water, because I figure anything less is a sissy dose. The pain is completely gone, even though two boils still remain. But they are GREATLY reduced in size and almost no swelling. I've been on turmeric for about four days now. It works, just have patience. I'll try using some Neosporin topically soon to close these things up for good."

I have tried the turmeric fist by the powder with water(sorry I couldn't take the taste. So I ordered the pills and put iodine on the boil itself. I was almost 2 months without a boil but I quit takeing the turmeric and low and behold it came back I know now that I will probable have to take this for the rest of my life but if that is what it takes so be it. Is there a difference in taking the powder or the pills? is one better than the other? All I know is that before turmeric my boils were unbearable, the two I have now are just a little uncomfortable, but nothing like they once were. Bless this site."

[YEA] 04/16/2007: Dave from Strathmore, Alberta writes: "Turmeric Remedy: I have had a recurring problem with Boils on my back side, and upper leg. They can grow to be quite large in size, around the size of a plum. They often occur in the same spot, but lately they have been showing up in new locations. I have tried many different remedies and recently tried Turmeric. Turmeric has worked the best and I'm sold on it. I had 3 boils that were in the early stages, I was getting ready to take time off and prepare for a few days of epson salt baths and heat pads. I came across this site and began the turmeric around 6pm. By the next morning the boils had reduced about 75%. After two days only a very small indication left. This is going to help me manage this condition far more effectively than the broad antibiotics that the doctors were giving me."

[YEA] 04/16/2007: Jonathan from Bristol, UK writes: "I first got a boil (on my back) after a trip to the beach in Thailand last year; I went to see a doctor and after a course of antibiotics and much suffering it expelled cast quantities of pus and disappeared. I thought that was the end of the story.
This year, however, I noticed a small itchy area on my left forearm, and assuming it was a zit, tried to squeeze it. It then got infected and became a large boil. This time I only treated it with hot compresses and it drained after about 2 weeks of agonizing pain.
Finally, I received a third boil and a sty almost simultaneously about a month after my second boil; given that it was a year between the first and second I wasn't too worried, but with the third I began to panic. After attempting to let it heal by itself for a few days, it became purple and swelled to about half the size of a golf ball. I started panicking and found this site, and immediately ran out to buy turmeric in pill form. I then started taking 1600mg every mealtime (which is, I recognize, a fairly excessive dose, but I was driven by desperation). Within 2 days both the boil and the sty had erupted. (I should also say that on the last day prior to the eruption I again began taking antibiotics- Fluoxacillin). Turmeric works wonders. I'm just now worried because there's an extremely itchy sore area on my behind, but it's not red and there's no visible spot- here's hoping it's not another boil, especially since I haven't stopped taking turmeric OR the antibiotics!"

[YEA] 04/15/2007: Andrea from Syracuse, New York writes: "Turmeric cured my constant struggle in battling uncomfortable boils. I found this site in the midst of a painful attack from a giant boil on my forehead. The boil was hard, not coming to a head, growing everyday, very red and was causing severe headaches. On day 8 (when nothing was working like always- not even a hot compress) I found this site and ran to the grocery store to get turmeric. They only had the powder form so I bought 2 jars! First, I made a paste with some milk, applied it to the boil and covered with a band aide. Then I drank two lg warm glasses of water filled with a heaping teaspoon of the spice! Sure it tastes gross (and stains so don't drool or spit out the turmeric cocktail!)but when I woke the next morning, the boil was 1/2 the size and the pain was virtually gone. Yes, it was GONE! Now its my second full day on my turmeric diet and I feel like a new woman. Last night I put turmeric in my tea and I also had a glass in milk. I cant believe at 35, knowing how long I have struggled with boils and cysts, that I finally found this site--and relief-- better yet, a cure. I am going to share this information with others. Most importantly, I have purchased Neem and Turmeric capsules. I am going to incorporate them into my regular diet/vitamin regime to prevent the boils from recurring. Thank you so much for sharing this site; I can't thank you enough!"
