I thought I just had a little ingrown hair on my bikini line -but it turned into an extremely painful knot the size of a grape after a couple days. I was so scared. The third night I was in so much pain I couldn't sleep so I stayed up soaking it with a hot pack and wash cloth and searching the internet for info on how doctors lance boils. ...I will try anything before I do that... and I found this site (God bless you) and I started taking the turmeric this morning at 8 and by 6 that evening I was able to gently poke it and drain it! It's still really tender but at least I can walk a little easier. Hopefully I'll be able to make it into work tomorrow..."

I got my first boil, well first 2 3 months ago OMG it was hell i missed a week of work and still was not better. It was so gross.. I have never seen so much pus in my life, the fist 2 boils were on my rear end and were the size of golf balls.. I did re- search and bought boil ease, that worked and boy was it messy the next day gross! Any how i did not know that the pus cant come in contact with other skin wich it did. of course it spread and I got many many pea sized ones that i handled better, I looked in the mirror and looked at my bod i thought gross all these scars I have to do something.. So I first had to figure out how to cure them then tackle the scars! Well I recenlty like 4 days ago from 4/2/08 started Turmeric at first with tea, then i was like 4 get this I started taking tea spoon full with my downer a good drink. I normaly see more boils coming when others heal, but no new ones thank GOD! I will now use termeric daily i carry it in my purse and sprinkle it on the food i eat daily it is an antioxidant and cleans the blood so im sure it will do me no harm I the boils i had are healing rather quicky. I did put drawing salve the black stuff on them and cover with a band aid over noght this helps too.. the day i got one close to my labia is the day I started termeric and that one is nearly gone Thank GOD! I also use dial soap and hand sanitizer freaquently! I cant wait till they all heak so I can tend to the scars.. I plan to use turmeric for the rest of my life!

I've read all feedback regarding cysts and I've been SOOO excited to share what I've stumbled across. Thanks to all of you, taking Turmeric capsules has helped tremendously, with respect to size, frequency, pain and draining. I've found my ULTIMATE CURE (or at least as close as I'VE EVER COME!) Then I started getting them everywhere like my bum, my stomach, thighs, back, neck, ear, nose, and face. I mean it spread like crazy. I just had a UTI and was put on cipro, so I am sure that exacerbated the boils break out. I never have it before. Anyway, I came upon this site because I have been desperate to get rid of these nasty things. I bought the turmeric from my local grocery store for $5. I took 3 tsp w/ 4 oz of room temp water 4x yesterday. I took a hot shower w/ dial soap. I lanced the boils that had a white tip and were ready w/ cotton pads drenched w/ bactine. I put neosporin w/ turmeric on the boils and wore clothes I didnt care about staining. Went to bed and woke up right now and looked at my boils. They are flat and scabbed over! and the pain is 80% gone. the biggest one the size of a large grape was on the back of my thigh and I can stretch and walk w/o feeling pain. It is amazing. Thank you so much for this site. I hope I never get boils again, but if I do I know what to do. I will continue to use the turmeric until it completely resolves. My boyfriend told me to make some curry w/ the leftover turmeric. I think from now on, turmeric will be in my diet. I hope that it can prevent future boils. After several courses of antibiotics failed I began heavy research. It left a hole the size of a golf ball. I then went to a surgeon who gave me bacton (the nose antibiotic.), hibicleanse (sorry not sure how to spell these words). The doctor took a culture of the boil and it came back not as a staph infection. I was on amoxcilion to treat the infection. Well, two nights ago I notice another boil forming in the exact same spot! A couple of months ago i was struck with a boil which grew to the size of half a walnut, located smack bang in the middle of my back. I visited the chemist who recommended a drawing salve which i applied religiously twice daily with clean dressings, nothing happened except the boil grew bigger and more painful until it was the size of half a golfball. This was so painful i could not sit and lean on a seat with a back on it, could not lie on my back at all making trying to get to sleep a very painful and tearful process and had to drive my car in a very strange and uncomfortable position as not to let my back touch the carseat. In complete desperation I searched the internet for a natural cure, which i trust in far more than anything a doctor would prescribe. I came across this amazing site and read all about the turmeric cure. It sounded pretty good and I had nothing to lose by giving it a try, except that is for my boil. I also made tumeric paste with baking soda 1 tbs tumeric and 2 tsps. of baking soda. I put the paste on a bandaid overnight and the boil that was almost and inch almost completely disappeared. Today I ate some M & M candy with peanuts, This evening I felt my boil flare up a little. I just read now someone specified do not eat chocolate and nuts...I believe it is a no no. Especially if you are trying to eliminate a boil."
