01/05/2013: Louwrence from Rustenburg, North West, South Africa replies: "Hi Absa, It would seem that you have excess male hormones, so have your hormones checked bcause excess male hormones can lead to the kind of problems you are experiencing. Do you tend to be aggresive?"
01/06/2013: Mt from Ottawa, On Canada replies: "According to Maria Treben the extra hair points to kidney disorder. She is recommending a course of Stinging Nettle tea, 3 to 4 cups throughout the day and Horsetail sitz bath daily. To thin the hair, Celandine juice is dabbed on the affected area and is left for a few hours, then washed and the dried skin is treated with Calendula ointment or Camomile oil."

You should see results in 5 days or less- keep doing it and get da metronizidole from your derm. Its an antifungal pill u need it to also take bumps away."

12/12/2011: Muneef from Karachi, Sindh/pakistan: "Dear Sir!

My name is Muneef n my age is 19 (male). I have a problem which is that I have lots of hairs on my whole body so is there any remedy to remove these hairs completely for a long time..? thanks "

12/14/2011: Francisca from Zug, Zug, Switzerland replies: "Muneef, I have no idea what you mean by lots of hair, of course but I want to remind you that it is normal for men to have body hair, some more than others! Maybe you are being influenced by magazines and TV which love to show men who look more like women than like men. Without seeing a photo I can't appreciate whether you have a problem or not but I would think not because you want to get rid of the all the hair forever, which seems to show that the only thing you want is to look like the models you see in the media. If I could give you a piece of advice.... Be a man and be proud of it! I am married to a normally hairy man and I would hate it if he had a problem with the fact that he is actually..... normal! Think about it....."
12/14/2011: P from Middle Of, Fl replies: "I soooooooooooo agree with you 150%. That's what testosterone does, grows hair! A well, clean maintained man is sexy, but skip the manscaping if you want to look like a man!

testosterone hair=MAN!"

12/15/2011: Francisca from Zug, Zug, Switzerland replies: "Spot on P. Crazy this idea that men should look more and more like women.... Yesterday I read in the paper that a very conservative Dutch warehouse has chosen a male model to model their wonderbra! If I lived there I tell you, I would skip that shop altogether! I have to say that he was already modeling wedding dresses but this goes even further! What is the world coming too.... And people let themselves get manipulated to take part in the madness! If a man is overly hairy (some women are too) I agree they should seek treatment so that they can lead normal lives, if a man is just a man, no matter how old-fashioned that concept is, he should just be proud of himself! I have just read in the paper about a new laser procedure that changes the color of our eyes, how crazy is that? Can't we be a little bit happy with the way we are?"
12/16/2011: Debbie from Melbourne, Australia replies: "Francisca, we have a guy here in Australia who is also modelling womens' clothes. Terrible. He is also in a push up bra. What is the world coming to? Give me a masculine man any day..."
12/16/2011: Francisca from Zug, Zug, Switzerland replies: "Debbie, it is the same guy! Me too... Give me a manly man but then I am 54, I don't belong to the young generation anymore. My daughters think differently. They are now 30, 27 and 23 and they do love those effeminate men. You should see how hairy my husband is. British but very hairy! I used to joke about hairy men with my friends when I was a youngster but after meeting my husband I learnt to appreciate a real man! But it all boils down to indoctrination! The fashion world dictates something and people follow without giving it a thought! Hurrah for the men who still dare to be men!"

08/14/2011: Kat from Birmingham, England: "Hey,

I'm 19 years old and over the last year I've noticed facial hair on my face that is not normal. Under my chin it started off as 1 or 2 thick hairs that I would just pluc away and now I can see that a few more a forming. I also have hair on my sideburns. I never had any hair there before and recenlty (few months) I saw 3 long hairs on either side. Now I have a few long hairs really long hairs on either side of my face. I have also grown hair on my stomach.

My sister has this problem also but hers is worse as it started a year before mine. Hair has developed all over her jawline and throat and sideburns are really big.

08/14/2011: Joanofarc from Morton, Il Usa replies: "Kat -I don't have your particular problem but I have learned thru my integrated practioner that specializes in hormone therapy that my hormones were very low and caused a number of health issues. Your hormones may be out of balance also. I hope this helps. Good health to you."
08/15/2011: Leslie from New Castle, Pa replies: "Kat,

Unwanted facial hair, etc. is a sign of hormonal imbalance. You should see a doctor that deals in this type of issue. I believe it would be an endocrinologist."

09/22/2011: S.b.k. from Birmingham, England replies: "Hello there,

Best to get your hormones checked first and then consider treatments. My personal experience was that all hormones were normal but hair just started growing- the strange thing was that most of my family close and distant don't have much hair at all- my brother, in fact had less hair than I did- yes that hurt!!! I have been advised by many beauticians not to ever pluck hair as they say this increases the growth- dont know why or how??"

10/25/2011: Rose from Hope, Oregon Usa replies: "A highly sought out woman who has done electrolysis professionally for decades & attends conventions to keep up on the latest techniques and equipment, told me that that the best kept secret that is generally only spoken about among those in her trade, is that birth control pills cause facial hair growth in some women. She told me it breaks her heart to have young women come in with heavy facial hair - when they ask her what she thinks caused it, she tells them sometimes it can be medication. She said inevitably the young women will voluneer that they aren't on any medications - then a bit later they'll add - except birth control - which they don't think of as medication. I wish I had known this before I swallowed birth control pills for 8 years!"
02/22/2012: Anonymous from Anywhere, Usa replies: "This is a topic that should be brought to Oprah's attention. Facial hair on a woman is very humiliating. The only thing that has ever vaguely worked for my female beard removal is a depilitory product in the drug store made specifically for black men. None of the female depilitory products worked for me, as the hair is very thick and coarse. This product is safe, and readily available. Try it! Blessings from a grandmother who understands."
02/22/2012: Laurie from New York, Ny replies: "To any woman who has this problem- Try electrolyosis. It's the only permanent treatment that works. The pain is minimal and the cost is reasonable. Good luck."
10/13/2012: Citygirl27 from Richardson, Tx, Usa replies: "Electrolysis didn't work for me. When I come into some money, I'm going to try IPL."

VERY GOOD POINT and Oprah could have both the experts and regular people STATING WHAT WORKS and what IS A WASTE OF TIME AND $$$$-- was saving those nickels and dimes to get a OO but the reviews over on amazon.com WERE OVERWHELMINGLY NEGATIVE..... I really felt bad as I was hoping the infommercials were truthful as this thing would have been a gawdsend for millions and even for those caring for disabled males as then shaving would be easier, etc..."
