[YEA] 03/25/2007: Jo Ana from Norwich, , CT writes: "For many years, I would wake up at night, with a rapidly beating heart, gasping for breathe, etc. I have tried many remedies and again, over the years had developed high blood pressure perhaps, as a result of poor respiration at night, kidney and gallstones. Minor surgery for an impacted kidney stone and then major infirmities probably as a result of the surgery, antibiotics, HBP meds, and infections. Found your site, and I have started using food-grade H2O2 again orally and through inhalation, also extra virgin coconut oil, iodine, and cider vinegar. Within 2 weeks, HBP gone, no liver/GB pain or distress, and a major increase in energy and a returning sense of well-being. Sleeping through the night like a baby. Please be aware that I tried EDT suppositories and ionic footbaths for relief from toxicity, with only an increase in distress. I credit my body's healing to the H202, cider vinegar, coconut oil, iodine, and coffee enemas to eliminate the toxins. I truly appreciate this website and my return to health, after all these years of less than optimal functioning. I had had a normal body temp of 96.8 for years and after initiated Lugol's iodine footpainting, within this time period as well, my normal body temp is up to 98 from below 97, which is also a really good thing. Thanks to all of you for all your suggestions, and I wish this level of body optimization for all of you who suffer needlessly. God Bless You All. "

[YEA] 07/16/2006: Joan from Richardson, TX writes: "I use pharmacy strength hydrogen peroxide -- drops in glass of water twice a day (about 7 drops thus far). My moderately elevated blood pressure reduced to normal, according to my doctor's records, without use of drugs. How long should I continue to pursue this treatment? Should I continue longer or cycle on and off in some way?"
[YEA] 12/30/2008: Tom from Austin, Tx replies: "I had an injury to my tongue from biting it. The dentist recommended using a product called Peroxyl, which is just a flavored 1.5% hydrogen peroxide solution. It helped the injury to heal, but as a by-product my blood pressure was lowered significantly. I did go beyond recommended usage. How much hydrogen peroxide is enough and how is dosage determined? It is easy to find food grade H2O2 at 3%."

It comes in several strengths, so contact customer service on websites to see which is best for you. It is a little pricey, but I think it is worth it. It's delicious and healthful when taken internally and is wonderful when applied externally to the face. I am taking one teaspoon of Manuka honey and 1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon each morning and evening. It has lowered my blood pressure from 156 to 125 in a very short period of time. It also improves my sleep! I love this website and it makes me happy to give back for all the help I've received. Good luck to all."

[NAY] 11/01/2009: Hoax from Guerneville, Ca, USA writes: "Driving a big rig around the country, my BP has to be 140/90,or they pull my license. I've taken it all:garlic, ACV, cayenne, bicarb, salt free diet, HBP pills, potassium, colloidal silver, magnesium, bananas and colloidal minerals. I'm sicker from your cures than HBP. I'm still running 200/100. The medicine has unwanted side effects, but overdosing for the test,I get it down without a doctor's or homeopath's approval and feel great the rest of the year."
11/01/2009: Phil from Dearing, Ga replies: "Hello Hoax.Your high blood pressure could be related to build up of plaque in your arteries and not due to kidney toxicity... If this is the case you may want to check into ORAL CHELATION. This might clear your arteries and may result in lowering your blood pressure."
11/15/2009: Tony from Monroe, Nj replies: "Phil, can you tell me which oral chelation product you used to lower your blood pressure? Like many other people, I've tried everything also to lower my BP with no luck. I would really appreciate your feedback.
Thanks,
Tony"
11/15/2009: Phil from Dearing, Ga replies: "Hello Tony. I actually don't use an oral chelation. My High blood pressure issues are due to sodium and sugars. Which is why anything that will flush my kidneys seems to work... I drink Asparagus Extract every day to help maintain normal kidney function. You can google Asparagus extract and usally Dr. Chi comes up, that is what I use. As far as oral chelation, there are many on the market. One that comes to mind is Nutralife laboratories. You may also want to check out herbalhealer.com, she has some great testimonials and she will send you a free catalog that details alot of information. And the only other one I can think of is oralchelation.com. I used, breifly the one from Nutralife laboratories and did see lower readings, but I also was drinking Asparagus Extract at the same time, so I really can't tell you for sure if it worked.
There are many people that have said oral chelation worked for them, I guess you just have to find the one that works best for you...
Vinager and garlic never helped me, only the Asparagus drink helped.
Sorry, I could not help more. But everything I learn and study comes from me making good use of google and reading several websites."
11/15/2009: Tony from Monroe, Nj replies: "Thanks Phil, this was actually very helpful I appreciate it. Oddly enough, my BP was perfect today, but that was after a long run this morning. I've noticed that after a 30 minute jog my BP goes down significately.Good luck to you.
Thanks again."
11/19/2009: Phil from Dearing , Ga, USA replies: "Hi Tony. I glad this may help you. I should have also mentioned the instructions for the asparagus extract is one cup of hot water added to packet, let sit for 5 minutes, stir and drink... Once a day is recommended for maintaining normal blood pressure range....However if you kidneys are clogged and toxic you can drink up to 3 packs a day and only use half a cup of hot water. If you order the free catalog from herbalhealer.com it has tons of information about ALL kinds of diseases and the instructions on the asparagus is in the book in serveral different places. I find it works btter for me at half cup of water taken twice daily. If your pressure does not come down, after a few weeks , then you might consider oral chelation...But you would be suprised at the people who simply just have toxic kidneys and they need to be flushed."

[YEA] 12/23/2008: Martin from San Miguel, Spain writes: "I though that the following might be of interest.
I am a male of 57 years. I had a heart attack and subsequent angioplasty with stents when I was 45 and then until earlier in 2008 I was fine.
In June I had a series of heart attacks followed by bypass surgery. All went really fine but shortly after being released from hospital I developed very high blood pressure of 200+ over 100+.
Despite various changes of medication by my doctor, my blood pressure would not stay under control and so I started my search for "other" remedies, which is what lead me to this site.
I tried the Apple Cider Vinigar cure, and although it did relieve the acid indigestion that I sometimes suffer from, it did not help with my blood pressure which despite continuing to take my medication would often read 210 over 118 or more (The ACV did not help me to lose any weight either.
It seemed as if a stroke was inevitable and I was beginining to despair when I read that L- Arganine helps to lower blod pressure.
I tried the maximum recommended dose (as well as my meds) of 1 gram 3 times a day, and did see a little improvement, but still in the region of 170 over 95.
Then I made a break through. As you can imagine, I have spent a lot of time seaching the internet for help (hope) and I have read just about everything that has been published from the various research papers regarding high blood pressure.
I read a report that natural progestorone cream - in addition to many other benefits - lowers blood pressure.
Three weeks ago, I started to apply natural progesterone cream at the dose of 10 mgs morning and evening.
I continued to take 1 gram L-Arganine 3 times a day as well as using my medication.
Yesterday morning I took my blood pressure reading and to my delight it was 127 over 89. It stayed around this figure with all of my daytime readings and this morning was 130 over 84.
I know that this may not seem to be a great reading, but for me it is fantastic.
I am not recommending any of what I have tried as being right for anyone else, but it may be something that others may want to research if they, like me, cannot get their BP under control."

1 QUESTION
[YEA] 03/08/2006: Vicki from Baltimore writes: "just wanted to share that i just got back from kenya. my doctor had put me on blood pressure meds shortly before i left. i wasn't feeling too good, but i went on the trip. i had no feelings of high blood pressure in africa, but when i got back to the states i started feeling "off" again even with the meds. today i'm reading that someone said passion fruit juice lowers hbp. that is what i drank every morning in africa! i am going to start drinking that here."
[QUESTION] 02/21/2009: Sanjita from Wigan, Lancs, United Kingdom replies: "To Vicki: I have just learnt from you that Passion Fruit Juice lowers blood pressure. I was also introduced to this juice by friends from Kenya. It is available by the glassful in restaurants of Kenyan origin. Yet whenever I try to purchase the fruit and squeeze the juice, it yields very little juice. I live in a place where we dont get Passion Fruit Juice in restaurants as it is only available in the London restaurants. Do you know how the restaurants manage to get such large quantities of Passion Fruit Juice. How do you get your juice, as the one from cartons/tins is not the same as the fresh variety that we get served in restaurants.
Thanks. Sanjita"

08/17/2009: John from Trang, Thailand writes: "Hypertension, [calcium ions]
There's a lot of disinformation on the web and what follows may have some.
Calcium Ions go into a muscle when we want to do something and exit the muscle when it's relaxed, and so it is with the soft muscle surrounding the heart arteries, the soft muscle surrounding the bronchiole. Calcium entering the ears vestibular is a cause of vertigo and I believe calcium entering the eye is a cause of cataracts.
Wanting to pick up a glass, a message from the brain sends calcium ions into the muscle. Would it be the same with muscles surrounding heart arteries? If it is as simple as 'wanting' as it is with picking up a glass, why is it not as simple with heart arteries? Why not send the message -just once- for the heart arterial muscles to relax now? Messages should be that simple. Treating high blood pressure with addictive medication is only treating the symptoms.
The disease - if it is a disease - comes from the brain. How to treat this?"

[YEA] 06/24/2009: Philip from Dearing, GA writes: "This is a must for those with HBP issues. I believe HBP to be directly related to the type of sodium in our food or artial plaque build up. In my case, and yes I had test run by a medical facility and everything was in good shape, my blood pressure always seemed to be borderline at around 130 over 90 and sometimes depending on what I ate or drank would go up to 140 over 95. So I believe my HBP to be related to the type of sodium in our foods.
I have expermented with this and can make my blood pressure increase and decrease with what I eat in my diet. My BP came down in one week to 118 over 76. I was truly amazed. Well after losing motivation I soon slipped off the diet and my BP slowly crept back up. After starting the diet once again, my BP was down.
I will give you the basic diet I used (There is a book on this, but I know Earth Clinic does not want titles or products) So you will need: A blender; Whey powder; Sea salt (All natural/unbleached); Ground Flax seed; Ice; Fresh or frozen fruits and veggies; Raw almonds and other nuts; Beans; Dairy of any kind, must be fat free or 1%; Unsweetened, unfavored instant oatmeal; Eggs; Lean meats; Peanut butter (again all natural); Olive Oil;100% Whole Grain cereals and bread; Berries (Fresh or Frozen); and Low fat yogurt.
So the goal is BP reduction, but you will lose weight with this also. You will be eating every 2 to 3 hours 6 times a day. Serving sizes should be no more than the palm of your hand and you basically combine the foods such as,1 ounce of almonds with 1 ounce of raisins as a snack or an apple and a cheese stick. For supper, a serving of Tuna, Spinach, Peas, and a glass of fat free milk. For desert, a few pieces of dark chocolate. I hope you get the idea.
The very best part is the smoothies though because you can actually drink 6 of them a day instead of meals and snacks. Take a blender, add 1 cup of crushed ice or 3 or 4 ice cubes, 1 cup of Fat free milk, 2 Tablespoons of low fat vannila yogurt, 2 Teaspoons of Whey powder. These are your basic ingredients and will be in every smoothie you consume. Now you add fresh or frozen fruit of any kind (about a cup) and 2 Teaspoons of peanut butter OR 1 pack of cooked instant oatmeal and blend (this usally makes two servings). A serving will be 12 to 16 ounces and can be drank up to 6 times a day spaced apart at every 2 to 3 hours.
A few teaspoons of flax seed spread over salads or added to smoothies is a good addition. Just remember to try to cook from Raw and add sea salt for flavor.
You can do smoothies all day or you can combine the other foods as snacks and meals. I really do wish I could name the book (Diet). Snacks can be a cup of low fat yogurt and a boiled egg or an egg sandwich on 100% Whole grain bread. I really hope this will help. Incorporating bananas and asparagus as part of this diet will help keep the kidneys flushed from sodium. If sodium is the cause of your HBP, this should be a cure."

[YEA] 11/24/2008: GP from Baton Rouge, LA writes: "I know that you all don't want products submitted, but if I don't give it, no one will be able to find it. It is for High Blood Pressure and worked for me on the very same day by the end of the day. You must experiement a little with dosage to get a good range for yourself-range is indicated on the bottle. Start small, and if not good enough, work up from there. You can find the info on - http://www.himalayahealthcare.com/innovation/serpina.htm and
http://www.himalayahealthcare.com/products/serpina.htm . It is also sold on www.blueboyherbs.com -http://blueboyherbs.com/herbs_ayurvedic.htm. I hope that you all share this information. It seems to be a little known cure but the best and fastest working one I have ever seen for high blood pressure, stress and anxiety. It comes from a plant in India and has no known side effects. If a person is on blood pressure medicine, the pressure lowering effect would be too great if taking them both, so if they are trying to wean off of thier medication, I would probably start with 1/2 a Serpina pill and work up slowly as they take themselves off of the blood pressure medicine while closely monitoring it. They don't want the blood pressure to drop too low. Serpina is normally effective by itself. It helps lower and regulate the BP as your body gets in the cycle. In the meantime, you want to take measures to get healthy. You may be able to lower your Serpina intake. If you come off the Serpina and are still doing the same old thing, the BP will gradually go back up again. You can continue to take the Serpina, but I would think that you would want to make some lifestyle changes to be healthier. I hope this helps many many people. God bless!"
EC: Serpina is made from the plant Rauwolfia serpentina, aka Indian Snakeroot. It is also the main ingredient in a prescription medication (Rauwolfia Alkaloid) for high blood pressure. Please read up on the side effects associated with this plant!
