TED HELPS WITH ANEMIA

08/10/2011: Anoymous from Anonymous: "Hi Ted,

I've been struggling with low ferritin for over a year now. Despite being on a high dose of iron pills since January, my ferritin levels haven't budged. I feel terrible all the time and can't get out of bed most of the day, hair loss etc. I've stayed clear of all the foods that inhibit iron absorption, I've taken blackstrap molasses along with my pills, I've gone on a gluten free diet and nothing has helped. I am also hypothyroid and was reading that people with thyroid problems have decreased stomach acid which causes iron deficiency so I decided to try to take HCL supplements. I took one and had horrible, painful gas (even in my chest) for a day straight. I'm not sure if I should continue. I know if there is burning of any sort, you are supposed to stop but I didn't see anything about gas. Also, I was thinking about taking apple cider vinegar with my pills but don't know if I drink it WITH the pills. Can long term used of ACV cause any PH problems in the body? I'm a little leary of doing this long term. Thank you so much for taking the time to read this and if you could provide some input on this matter, it would be greatly appreciated!"

08/13/2011: Ted from Bangkok, Thailand replies: "Have your mineral status check and possible virus history you had in the past. Certain mycobacterium (in bone marrow or virus) and or unidentified intestinal disorders caused by your past consumption of accutane or isoretionin which leads to decrease intestinal villi are one of them.

The other is iron absorption is also affected if you have historical ulcerative colitis, Crohn's disease, and acidic intestines. Inflammation of spleen and bone marrow issues, or kidney functioning also affects your ferritin status. Mineral status that leads to iron deficiency, includes taking the wrong kinds of iron (the proper one is ferrous gluconate), or excess cadmium, Celiac disease, hemolytic anemia, are some of the common overlooked problems. The ones people usually looked at is for anemia is vitamin C, B12, but fail to look at B2, folic acid, and taking too much zinc for colds, without proper copper supplementation.

Most of the problems I encountered is taking too much H2O2 for too long (the body produces more blood with less oxygen), some sort of aplastic anemia, and certain kinds of viruses (or bacteria) in the bone marrow, and black stools (a sign of intestinal bleeding). There was also case of fungus in the blood that also leads to anemia, you have outward allergy symptoms.

Anemia is a frequently encountered problems, most hospitals used erythropoietin and blood transfusions, but this is a temporary solution. I had a person who had taking 5 different blood pressure med that lead to his kidney being impaired, that he is considering kidney dialysis (machine) it actually leads him to be anemia.

Anemia is actually one of the more difficult cases because the hospital doesn't deal with it except temporary solutions only. (Actually more difficult then cancer, in terms of finding the cause.) The usual anemia dealt with in Thailand is to go hospital when you have anemia without dealing with the cause. It's fine, but you can this can go on forever.

Hemolytic anemia was helped with prednisone and another cyclosporine to help the body produce more blood. They said the cause was autoimmunity, so they gave that, but I think it prednisone stimulates blood synthesis, but it leads to weight gain in nearly all patient too.

08/16/2011: Anonymous replies: "Hi Ted, Thanks for your response! How would I check for past virus history or mycobacterium? Everything else that you have mentioned has been checked so those are the only two things left. Someone else also mentioned possibly having H. Pylori. Thanks again for your help."

08/19/2011: Ted from Bangkok, Thailand replies: "There are blood tests that check for antigens still present in your bloodstream. There may be some services that do that. I had one person who had cancer, and he went to some European lab and have his blood tests for antigens or antibodies and he happens to have aspergillis niger, a herpes virus, black mold fungus producing aflatoxin mycobacterium and other things that cause his cancer. So what I asked him was to control the blood sugar, because most of these organisms will remain suppressed, if the blood sugar is below 90 mg/dL that is especially true for fruits and artificial sugar. The other is alkalized diet, and his cancer has remained in remission as far as I know since he had his blood sugar under control. His cancer has a low survival rate (pancreatic cancer) there is 0% 5 year survival rate with conventional medicine. Of course for pancreatic cancer you need digestive enzymes WITHOUT any calcium too, calcium basically is a protective shield against the immune systems for most viruses and bacteria. H. Pylori if you have ulcers, may cause bleeding if severe.

ANEMIA - DANGEROUSLY LOW BLOOD LEVELS

10/14/2009: Anonymous : "Hi Ted, I have just been diagnosed with anemia. Blood count of 7.5. I feel fine but I am not able to travel to India via US because my doctor says I could experience cardiac arrest or passing out on a 14 hour flight. For almost 2 years (1.5 years maybe) I have been taking Lime/baking soda/sodium carbonate/potassium citrate drink (once at night) along with sea salt/baking soda/borax/ 3 drops 35% H2O2 to 1 liter of water (i drink about 3-5 liters a day). I also take magnesium citrate. 3 months ago I started taking fulvic/humic acid. Am I overdoing it? What should I do to get my dangerously low blood levels back up? I actually feel fine and don't feel like I am sick. I am Indian and lacto-vegetarian. Please help?"

10/17/2009: Ted from Bangkok, Thailand replies: "Blood counts will rise or at least the iron will be raised if chlorophyll supplements are taken three times a day. It helps if partially cooked liver (assuming you are not vegetarian, but apparently you are), taken daily.

If you are a vegetarian, then iron supplements taken daily helps. For the stomach to increase uptake of mineral, it helps to add some pure gelatin powder without sugar, along with food, plus increasing stomach acid with betaine HCl or just 2-3 drops of hydrochloric acid in a glass of water taken three times a day along with meals.

Some people have been more radical in taking iron infusion, but this kills the liver and kidneys for people with kidney problems.

As to why some people cannot uptake the iron from their food, I have found this to be much due to low enzymes in the body, low iodine (so a drop or two of lugols solution a day internally sems to help), and low stomach acid. Enzyme supplements are available in most stores and is taken along with meals. Gelatin powder can be added with food so the body can uptake the minerals faster.

Fulvic/humic acid are mineral rich compounds, but sometimes people have low minerals across the board and can't uptake them. It is observed in rat studies that if indium mineral is added, the minerals increase across the board. The indium supplements used is often called indium sulfate and is usually available over the internet. Kiwi fruit may be rich in indium element also, and a kiwi fruit consumption may help too. Chlorophyll in research studies is shown that iron levels do increase, but other minerals maybe needed too.

BONE MARROW CANCER

09/04/2007: SR from Georgia: "I am trying to find a cure for aplastic anemia. Which is a type of bone marrow cancer. Platelets, red blood cells, white blood cells & hemoglobin do not regenerate. Please reply! Thanks"

Ted from Bangkok, Thailand replies: "Dear Sharon: There is evidence based on the work of Dr. Robert Becker that certain cells will dedifferentiate (stem cells) whenever the cells come into contact with silver and a certain amount of gold. Aloe vera gel and allantoin supplements also have certain amounts of regeneration.

However, in event of a cancer people pH urine is always below 6 and cells tend to regenerate whenever pH is alkaline. The reason why this happens is the nitric oxide of the body which helps with regeneration degenerates too quickly whenever the body is in acidic phase.

Therefore the remedy for regeneration and marrow cells is at least to alkalize using one whole lime (about 8 teaspoon) the U.S. variety (I live in Thailand!) may go to 9 teaspoon, but they are close nevertheless, plus 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda in 1/2 glass of water, taken twice a day. To get some improvement it would generally take about 3 weeks for the body to have sufficient amount of bicarbonates and alkalinity so that the nitric oxide, which is also responsible for stem cell production, becomes stable whenever the pH is sufficiently alkaline. At least that's the basic things I would start on.

The other thing I would consider is to take one tablespoon of colloidal silver, any particular brand or concentration, is generally o.k. as it is better than nothing at all. And they are often taken on an empty stomach. A proper use I think to reduce the reactive silver, at least for me, before use is to add 10 - 20 drops of 3% H2O2 in a 500 cc bottle of colloidal silver and let the H2O2 react properly for about 3 days. The shelf life of it will be extended, and the effectiveness of the colloidal silver is generally increase at least the colloidal silver here appears to be silver oxide colloids, which will be generally less reactive, with the body's sulfur, which tends to produce AgS, or silver sulfide, a condition known as agyria, but this happens only for long term continuous use. So generally speaking I would like take it for only a couple of months. As to colloidal gold, if it were affordable, the amount is much less than the colloidal silver, which is generally 1/4 teaspoon mixed into colloidal silver. This approximate ratio might help the regeneration of cells. Aloe vera gel are relatively easy to find and those can help cellular regeneration and some people in medicine as a result used them for treatment of burns. The one I use is more like aloe vera oil a couple of drops a day, as it contains allantoin. I don't know if they sell allantoin supplements, but those also help with regeneration also.

Whichever the case, I would likely to start to alkalize first so the body can raise the nitric oxide for use instead of degrading due to acidosis. The chemistry works like this: the brain's glial cells produces sodium nitrite, in presence of organic acid, it breaks down to nitric oxide for use. Nitric oxide is basically used by the bone's marrow cells, which in turn creates stem cells or at least allows stem cells to further develop and goes to various parts of the body for repairs. The problem occurs whenever people eat acid forming food causing the condition such as acidosis. Whenever this happens, the sodium nitrite breaks down into nitric oxide BEFORE the sodium nitrite REACHES the bone marrow. The bone marrow don't have it, therefore it doesn't create the stem cells needed to create specialized cells, namely the blood cells. Therefore, I would concentrate on alkaline drinks, at the very least. There are other advanced remedy such as helping neural growth through glutamine, lithium citrate, as well as certain sodium nitrite supplements or nitrite rich foods, however, those are complicated and requires long discussion.

For most people, the basics are something which I prefer to deal with, such as alkalizing, avoiding fried foods, sugar, fruit juice and vegetable oils for example"

WHY DO I DEVELOP ANEMIA?

02/05/2007: Linda from Pretoria, South Africa: "Question for Ted please: Dear Ted, thank you for all your help and advice and valuable information on a previous question I asked (regarding fluoride). About two years ago my cat had a fungus growing on his skin. About a month later I developed itchy sores which looked almost like pimples on my legs. I also had no appetite and became nauseas every time I try to eat. I could only eat a little bit of lettuce and tomato once a day and lost a lot of weight. I was happy about the weight loss but felt really sick, weak and as if I was not getting enough oxygen. Various doctors wanted to treat me for stress, but I refused. I finally asked a doctor to treat me for a fungal infection and after a month of Lamysil tablets, the sores and other symptoms disappeared. I also started taking iron tablets. I noticed that if I stop with the iron tablets for more than a week, I develop dandruff and if I stop long enough (about a month) the sores on my legs come back. I also feel week and out of breath if I stop for too long with the iron. I am worried that the fungus might still be in my body and I am also wondering why I need to constantly take iron supplement. Will it work if I take a pinch of Borax and a drop of clove oil in a glass of water to kill a possible fungus. I am still exposed to my cat's fungus every day as the vet could not cure my cat. I am also wondering where my iron is disappearing to as I am not a vegetarian and am not menstruating. Why do I develop anemia so quickly when I don't take iron supplements? (I am 32 years old.) Any help and advise will be very much appreciated."

Ted from Bangkok, Thailand replies: "Dear Linda: Discussing the intricacies of microbes are far beyond this email, but in summary certain bacteria and mycobacterium make use of iron and it is a competitor against certain fungus. The other possibility which is even more likely is that certain fungus TENDS to steal your body's iron and store for its own use, causing an anemia on your part.

First I prefer to discuss the cat first, since it seems to be causing the problem. Prepare a 1% hydrogen peroxide solution and add borax until it no longer dissolves. Apply as often as possible in one day, such as 5-6 times, if it does not irritate the skin. Do not dry the cat.

As for you, a borax and a drop of clove oil may help, but topical applications of borax with hydrogen peroxide is also important too.

The issue is that fungus tends to grow in acid medium, so it may help that adding 1/4 teaspoon of baking soda in 1/2 glass of water for you taken 3 times a day, or 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda in 1/2 glass of water taken twice a day will increase the body's ability to fight of fungus by alkalization. However it takes about 2 weeks to raise the necessary bicarbonates to notice results. Some people tend to privately take 1 teaspoon of baking soda twice a day on empty stomach, to get an optimum dose. I prefer to go slowly, but you are the judge on this. Most beginners I usually use a minimum dose instead of optimum dose since optimum dose varies from person to person much more than minimum dose. The issue of iron can be three fold, a bacteria that requires a lot of iron necessary for growth, suppressing the fungus growth by competition, but not necessarily your health!

The second is a simple vitamin C deficiency. Vitamin C increases the body's ability to utilize and absorb iron without the necessity for taking it. Taking plenty of sodium ascorbate vitamin C (an alkaline form of ascorbic acid). If you can't find sodium ascorbate, than mix ascorbic acid and baking soda will get the same thing, in water, until the fizz stops.

The third possibility is the body is in acid state, where this issue is already settled by taking baking soda.

One new thing I learned is taking some apple cider vinegar with baking soda, or lemon with baking soda, causes the body's nitrite to release a very small amount of nitric oxide, effectively killing the fungus too. Vitamin C also helps. Sometimes the body cannot utilize the natural nitrites being produced by the body without sufficient vitamin C in the body. Malic acid may also improve that ability.

As to your issue for no menstruation, this is unusual for a person of age 32. Normally I see women stopped menstruating at age 50. I found that menstruation can come back and working normally or above normal, if the body is sufficiently alkaline, with plenty of bicarbonates (baking soda), vitamin C, vitamin E, magnesium and zinc. Calcification of ovaries may be at issue and this may be reduced with magnesium, vitamin C, lemon, and baking soda. Fluoride because it accumulates in the pineal gland may also cause menstruation to stop faster, therefore borax, is antifungal, removes fluoride, and while cats hate taking bath the borax may help kill the fungus too.

As to your reduced appetite, taking some vitamin B complex will improve the appetite. Vitamin E and selenium supplements (antifungal also) improves iron utilization.

In summary, your condition of anemia is bought on by fungus taking away your body's iron and it is being stored by it. Obviously, clove oil, borax and hydrogen peroxide can help. But if it didn't work as well, increasing the frequency of dose is usually the best ways to kill it. If those are insufficient, other supporting factors to kill it includes, chromium supplements. Topical 1% copper chloride solution applied to the area where there is known fungus. Other variations are possible, such as the use of eucalyptus oils applied to your legs or areas where there is a known fungus problem. Eucalyptus breaks down into a weak hydrogen peroxide too. If the fungus is killed, the anemia problem will be reduced. However, to cover all possibilities, I am including as many remedies I can think of here."
