Viruses are notorious for depleting the body of Vitamin C at an astoundingly rapid rate, and when people get ebola virus, for instance, what they really die of is hemmorage brought on by rapid Vitamin C depletion, also known as fulminating scurvy.

They say avoid citrus for herpes and mumps. The Eskimo Diet no one got scurvy, you can get vitamin c through vegetables. They tell Africans with hiv to eat lemons and they are dying.

Italians eat alot of citrus peels, and they have one of the lowest rates of skin cancer in the world, even though they live in a very sunny climate. But unless its organic, citrus fruits have high levels of pesticides, which bind to the oils in the citrus peels, which in turn are incorporated into your cellular membranes. In particular, non-organic citrus peel can contain high levels of pesticides that act as cholerestinase inhibitors. Lynn, you say your doctor was surprised your viral load had gone down. I'm actually surprised your doctor was impressed by your numbers at all. By the very nature of the test it is expected that if you sent several samples of a single blood draw to the lab, you can get quite different results. An order of 2 difference is not considered a significant variance due to the nature of how the results are obtained. Serum Gc protein (known as vitamin D3-binding protein) is the precursor for the principal macrophage activating factor (MAF). The MAF precursor activity of serum Gc protein of HIV-infected patients was lost or reduced because Gc protein is deglycosylated by alpha-N-acetylgalactosaminidase (Nagalase) secreted from HIV-infected cells. Therefore, macrophages of HIV-infected patients having deglycosylated Gc protein cannot be activated, leading to immunosuppression. Since Nagalase is the intrinsic component of the envelope protein gp120, serum Nagalase activity is the sum of enzyme activities carried by both HIV virions and envelope proteins. These Nagalase carriers were already complexed with anti-HIV immunoglobulin G (IgG) but retained Nagalase activity that is required for infectivity. Stepwise treatment of purified Gc protein with immobilized beta-galactosidase and sialidase generated the most potent macrophage activating factor (termed GcMAF), which produces no side effects in humans. Macrophages activated by administration of 100 ng GcMAF develop a large amount of Fc-receptors as well as an enormous variation of receptors that recognize IgG-bound and unbound HIV virions. As a healthy person labelled "HIV " three years ago I wonder if you have considered the possibility that that they got it all wrong? What if the tests your blood reacted to something else, instead of this allegedly destructive entity?

If you research published papers you will understand that no one has been able to prove that HIV alone causes one's definition of AIDS (and there are many definitions for AIDS). You will see that viral load exams do not predict health (ie: positive readings appear in HIV- people too), that CD4 counts are not necessarily accurate and predictive of incoming disease, that all epidemiologically facts and actual statistics (and not overblown estimates) show that this kind of immune deficiency has not only been a rare event, but also particular to people who are subject to severe poverty and/or living under extreme toxicological attack against the body, which includes doctor prescribed medicines for HIV.

I applaud Hulda for taking a stand against the unproven assumption that hiv should only be treated with expensive, patented, and toxic HIV drug cocktails. However, she still considers things like the viral load exam to be worthy, which has been discredited as a quantitative method by the inventor of the technology behind it itself, nobel prize winner Kary Mullis.

The discoverer of the alleged virus, Luc Montagnier (nobel prize winner due to the discovery) has already admitted (see below and google for more videos) that hiv infection goes away when health is promoted through proper nutrition. Yet alternatives to mainstream hiv treatment are severely attacked and dumbed down by most everyone. Why? Dogma maybe?

Why isn't open discussion on the issue welcome? Can we think clearly about the AIDS issue after being bombarded with the hiv=aids=death fear message for over 20 years?

I hope you do well, bud. When I first tested positive I went on this insane search for knowledge and irrefutable information. I started taking every vitamin proved to help with AIDS like crazy, even though I was healthy. But eventually sanity came and I realised that my disease existed only in papers, and not in real life. My advice to you is that you research what all hiv-related exams actually do (instead of what they claim they do), and also try to find out what is it that people that don't develop hiv-related diseases do in common (aka long term non progressors). Hint: they do nothing aside from a healthy lifestyle, no meds. But if you are indeed clinically sick you do need to work out those issues one by one, so a competent naturopath would be perfect, but if you don't have that luxury, come to places like EC and work on your health as a whole, and not just hiv specific treatment.
