1 WARNING!
[YEA] Mike from Redf9rd, MI writes: "I read into some of these herbal remedies. None of them seemed to work for me. I tried toothpaste, and simply looked dumb. I tried some pills from the dermatologist. Nothing worked. I assumed I was doomed to have an acne infested complexion for the rest of my life. But then, I applied peroxide, with a cotton ball twice daily. It stings, it dried out my skin a bit, but after that, my face cleared up in a few days, and the redness went a way after a week. It's amazing, so for those without hope, try this it worked for me."

[YEA] JoAnne from NYC, NY writes: "I have been spending $36 every month on a product to help break-outs. It works, but that's a lot of $ to spend each month! I read Mike's remedy and decided to give it a try when I ran out. Sure enough, it works like a dream. I use a cotton ball soaked in peroxide 2x a day (morning and night) and if it's hot outside, once or twice more. I hold a soaked h2o2 cotton ball to any break-out areas and they have healed within a few hours. This is good stuff! Only suggestion I have is to invest in a good moisturizer as peroxide does dry out the skin. Thanks, Mike!"

[YEA] Doris from Chicago, IL writes: "I have used hydrogen peroxide, and yes it will clear the redness which is infection and dry up within an hour, depending how red it is, it may take longer, but it definitely works. I have found that the constant use of peroxide caused my pores to stay open. Any suggestions for closing up the pores?"

[YEA] Sharon from Los Angeles, CA writes: "I love the hydrogen peroxide for pimples! I've been doing it now for about a month -- since I read about it on your site. I hold a soaked cotton ball to the pimple for about 3 minutes. The next day it has almost disappeared. Oh, one reminder -- don't let the peroxide sit on your eyebrows for very long... in a week or two you will notice them turning orange! Ha ha... Yes, that was me..."

HYDROGEN PEROXIDE AND VITAMIN B3
[YEA] Doris from Los Angeles, CA writes: "Vitamin B3 is best for acne. Also tea tree oil, chamomile tea, and hydrogen peroxide. Hydrogen peroxide when put on a pimple helps reduce redness infection, and dries out the pimple then it just falls off, never pick at it though."

HYDROGEN PEROXIDE AND WITCH HAZEL
[YEA] 03/05/2006: Alexa from Glendale, AZ writes: "Hydrogen peroxide and witch hazel cures pimples. Wash your face with a simple cleanser 1-2 times a day, and after you wash your face, use whazel on a cotton ball, then on pimples use a cotton ball with peroxide on it."

[YEA] 12/03/2007: Sophie from Portland, Oregon writes: "I've never had breakouts before and suddenly I have acne all over my chin and some on my forehead. . I began trying all of these high end products I buy from Nu-skin, well it just became more aggravated. I became totally flipped out, because, we are havinge two big parties to go to in five days and one we are hosting in ! I couldn't focus on what I was going to wear until I had my acne under control. I looked up this Eerth Clinic site and reading people stories. I ran to the store. I purchased Aloe Vera gel 99%, Aloe Vera Juice and Hydrogen Peroxide. All three products cost $10.00 I took a hot shower and put the Hydrogen Peroxide on a cotton ball and held it on acne prone areas for a few minutes. Afterwards I put some Aloe Vera gel on my face, then I drank some Aloe Vera Juice diluted with water and went to bed. When I woke up in the morning "BEHOLD A MIRACLE" all the acne was gone and my complexion was glowing, and creamy. So, save your money and your energy just try this it works, of course it might not for everyone, but it sure blew my mind!"
05/11/2008: Raquelle from Auckland, NZ replies: "I've read a lot of feedback on here, just like to say your feedback was really good and clear."

09/16/2008: Julie from Boston, MA writes: "Adult Puberty Acne?
I am 32, never a zit or blemish to speak of until four months ago. I now have these horrible cyst like pimples around my mouth constantly. I have tried ACV, aspirin masks, coconut oil, and even tumeric, but nothing is helping. I am going to try the peroxide tonight as soon as get a chance to run to the store. I will let you all know how it works."
I feel your pain! I swear - within a week after my 40th b'day, I developed an acne cyst. Never had acne as a teen. You want to talk about being depressed! I've struggled over the years as it comes and goes but recently - I'm 50 this year - had the worst outbreak EVER and didn't want to leave the house. After much surfing of the 'net and MORE surfing of EarthClinic.com, I tried taking Vitamin C and after about a week of 2,000 mg daily have started to see a huge improvement. (I was determined to NOT take antibiotics.) I also tried dabbing peroxide which helped dry the blemishes that were threatening to ooze. Honestly, since taking the C I feel better overall and find that my pores are reduced a bit - my skin looks smoother. The acne, or rosacea, or whatever the heck this mess is was in a line, almost, from a spot in the center of my forehead...down my nose (big bump there!)...flared out under my eyes, on my cheeks...and was all around my mouth with a huge cyst in the center of my chine. Horrid! My eyes were terribly bothered - very bloodshot and a bit swollen - for about a week and I've read that rosacea can get into your eyes. When that happened, I mixed a drop or two of Colloidal Silver in about 1/8 cup of water and dropped it into my eyes. After a few days, I used the Silver straight and within a couple of days my eyes were 100% better - feeling and looking.
This site is amazing! I sometimes just peruse the testimonials for hours, one search leading to another - learning and enjoying what everyone has to say. Ted is a genius; Deirdre, the site looks terrific! Thanks to you and all who contribute and maintain this great resource. I am convinced that none of us need to surrender to synthetic "medications", that all we need to heal ourselves is at our fingertips."
10/10/2008: Ted from Bangkok, Thailand replies: "Linda:
Part of the cyst on the skin story is the circulating microscopic fats and calcium is circulated. What the vitamin C does is it prevents oxidation of the oils. When oils get oxidized what happens is that the oils becomes hard, and crusty. These get clogged into the capillaries near the surfaces of the skin, causing cysts. High microscopic free calcium can also lead to this form of cyst and ascorbic acid or vitamin C reacts with this to become calcium ascorbate and are rid off safely into the kidneys or the intestines as a waste. So lipid peroxidation maybe reduced with vitamin C and some extent with occasional vitamin E, It also helps to reduce diets high in potatoes (one of the highest in calcium), and vegetable oils. More fish oils will have a anti sticky platelets effect reducing the cyst by reducing the blood from being obstructed in the capillaries.

[YEA] Donna from Aspen, CO writes: "I totally cured my PMS, as I used to have severe anxiety, temper flare ups and acne. I paint myself with 2% tincture of iodine every AM & PM. Noticed the change within 2 days! Also, my allergies went away, my teeth weren't sensitive anymore.
Recipe: Paint about a 2" X 2" area on your stomach area, always moving the spot around to different locations (or the skin gets dried out and itchy). Just two days ago I forgot to paint in the morning, by evening I had a acne starting to form on my chin, I quickly painted my tummy, and when I awoke the next day it was gone!
If your paintings don't absorb then you can put off painting, maybe every other day. It means your iodine level is okay, maybe you really don't need any. However, I read that 80% of Americans are iodine defficient. They used to put iodine in all of our flour products (before 1966), then they discovered bromide, it is easier, cheaper, less messy and makes ingredients mix well, so it's in all of our bread, flour products (except "sprouted grain" breads/products & 100% organic) cakes, even Gatorade and Mountain Dew (it was found in Dansani water too)!
Fluoride, chlorine, bromide & iodine are all halogens, their atomic weight determines which one deletes the other, fluoride being the winner (doesn't that make you happy). Iodine is the loser, so all three delete iodine. That's why we are all deficient, we cannot escape fluoride, chlorine and bromide! So, paint paint paint, you only absorb what you need!"

[YEA] Tish from Granger, IN writes: "I just started painting twice a day. I have always had irregular menstral cycles and cysts and recently started having problems with acne. It has been about 1.5 weeks now and my acne is almost gone. I have had acne problems for the last 6 months and tried everything over the counter and topical you could imagine. I was ready to give up and go to the doctor for meds. Thank God for iodine! It is too early to comment on the female issues, but I am having some positive signs in this area too."

[YEA] 09/03/2008: Cathy from Medford, Oregon writes: "For acne, coconut oil is not recommended, it will actually plug your pores and cause more breakouts. Jojoba oil is a long known remedy for acne. It is almost exactly the same composition as our skin's natural oil, so when you apply it, it will actually slow the production of sebum, which causes acne. I didn't believe any oil could help acne..but jojoba does..and removes wrinkles too..try it on the frown marks!"

[YEA] 10/24/2009: Penelope from Boston, Ma writes: "The most incredible supplements I have ever tried for acne are L-Glutathione (500 milligrams up to 3 times a day) and vitamin B6 (ONLY get the P5P form. The other form can cause neuropathy). Split a 50 milligram pill of vitamin B6 (P5P) up and take a few times a day. I would ask your doctor about going up to as high as 100 milligrams of P5P if you really need that much to keep your skin clear. My skin is completely clear as long as I take the B6 or the L-Glutathione. I do not need to take both of these supplements together to have clear skin, - both have worked separately equally as well to clear my skin in record time (about a week to see results) but test it out and see what works for you - both have amazing health benefits. I have noticed that L-Glutathione has the added benefit of also making my hair really shiny and healthy looking.
Both vitamin B6 and L-Glutathione are potent detoxifiers of the liver so go up to the dose you need VERY slowly! If you break out initially, bear with it - this is just a detox/cleansing reaction.
Try opening a capsule of vitamin B6 (P5P) and take a third of it - or half of it - and see how you do Same goes with the L-Glutathione pills or powder . You can take the same dosage up to 3 times a day. Definitely take the B6 with food because it can make you nauseous. Also, the B6 (P5P) could keep you up by giving you energy if you take it late at night.
Topically, Jojoba oil is great for acne. It moisturizes without clogging pores. I wear it all over my face and neck at night. It is the only moisturizer that does not break me out!
I have suffered with severe cystic acne and was on 3 courses of Accutane so I know what it's like to suffer with acne. With either of these supplements, thankfully I don't have to suffer anymore. I hope this info helps anyone out there who is struggling with acne."

[YEA] 10/17/2008: Roo from London, UK writes: "Lemongrass oil cured my acne
After trying Hydrogen Peroxide, ACV, aspirin as well as witch hazel, benzoyl peroxide cream, oxycycline cream and tea tree oil, the pimple on my face still refused to budge. It was one of those red kind that has no head.
Looking for a new remedy
I read on the internet that Lemongrass oil had anti-microbial, antiseptic, astringent, bactericidal and fungicidal properties and could be used to treat acne.
Even though I had read that to use it in creams or oils you should dilute it I decided to get its full properties perhaps I should not dilute it. I applied it neat onto a cotton ear bud which I then applied directly to my pimple.
Overnight my pimple has shrunk, is less inflamed and appears to be disappearing!"

[YEA] Marisol from Brookly, NY writes: "Retina micro really works! it cleared up my face considerably...but one day it ran out! i was devastated lol but thanks to lemon juice, steaming and vinegar, my face has cleared up once again. i put acv in the morning, wash it off after 5 minutes, then exfoliate with st.ives apricot scrub, later on, usually in the evening i steam my face (put ur face over boiling water, and let it open up ur pores) after that i wash it off with warm water to cleanse all the dirt that has come to the top, make sure the water is warm so that the pores are still open, then i take squeezed lemon juice(which is refrigerated (cold)) and put it on my face, this closes the pores and it is allowed to penetrate deep into the pores since they are open, i leave the lemon juice on overnight and in the morning i start over. it will help ur skin!"

[YEA] 10/09/2005: Lisa from Fairview, OR writes: "A REAL ACNE CURE I've had acne since I was 12. I'm now 26 and it still plagues me. I've tried everything to get rid of it. While acne can have many causes, I believe that most acne occurs when the body is too toxic from elimination problems. A healthy person should have 2-3 easy bowel movements each day. If not, the system backs up, and eventually waste products have to come out the only way they can--through the skin. This can cause acne. So if you want to attack acne at the source, start taking fiber! Get yourself regular. Every time I have gotten myself regular, my skin has cleared, and when I start feeling blocked up, my face breaks out. It makes sense!"

We both have been putting the milk of magnesium on acne break outs at night before we go to bed. We are both happy at the results as both of the problem spots on our faces are clearing up. Who would of thought it would work. I have tried everything on my face and there were always some spots that nothing seem to work. It works slowly but everyday you notice the acne getting smaller and smaller. Plus I am noticing that I am not getting the usual breakout of new blemishes."

[YEA] 03/28/2008: Christa from Mountlake Terrace, WA writes: "Milk of Magesia(Philips brand ex.) is an amazing mask to draw out the impurities and treat acne. You can use this mask once a week or daily for very oily skin. It has done wonders for my skin. It works much more effectively than any clay mask etc. You can use Philips Milk of Magnesia brand or any store brand works fine. Shake up well and apply. The consistancy is liquid, but will dry and harden quickly. Then rinse. The milk combined with the baking soda scrub that has been mentioned previously by others is an effective combination to treat acne. You simply mix the baking soda with either water or a gentle facial cleanser and scrub in lightly, not too abrasively to irritate your skin. Because I have sensitive skin, I do not use both treatments on the same day, but it is up to your disgretion. Also another great remedy to treating acne is wiping H2O2 or your skin. My final tip is not a holistic remedy, yet is very effective: benzol peroxide, you can purchase this at any drugstore. You only use a small amount and gradually work up the frequency of application, because benzoyl peroxide can be very drying. Also, do not use hydrogen peroxide the same time that you use the benzoyl peroxie for this would be too strong for your skin. Hope this info helps someone. Good luck, this has been the trick for me."

1 BETTER BUT NOT CURED
[BETTER BUT NOT CURED] 02/13/2009: Elena from Stamford, Ct writes: "im taking a whole body cleanse that has Milk Thistle, and I'm just finishing my first week with it. so far im very happy I have lots of energy, and I haven't been breaking out. my face is starting to clearing up... I'm taking this cleanse to test to see if i would clear my acne, because when I went to Italy for 5 weeks my acne cleared up once I got back to CT I started to breake out all over again, and I eat pretty much everything organic, I even use organic toothhpaste, organic deodorant, and organic hair and face products. I started getting acne when I was about 13 or 14 I stop taking medication when I was 20 now im 23 and still have 3rd grade acne. I have gone to many dermatologists, and have gone on accutane. I became an esthetician and I took basic herbal studies to fine a cure. once I started to change my diet it has helped but it wasn't enough im still researching but im also finding out Brewer's yeast (available at GNC) helps cure acne I haven't tryed it yet but im planing on it after my cleanse which you can get also at GNC but the web sit for it is www.vt.wbclranse.com I recommend looking online for one that cost less. all I can say is research and fine what works for you because everyone is diffrent ex. my older brother took some mediction, and once he got off the medication he was clear and never broke out again, and he has no acne scarring you can't even till he suffered from acne. my older sister started breaking out when she was 15, and now she is 27 and still on medication, and she tried getting off, because its costing alot but she breaks out. don't give up and don't pick I've been really good about not picking and I dont have acne scarring thank god!"
02/13/2009: DJ from PDX, OR replies: "You might have your sister try the oil pulling. So far my face clearing up is the only thing I have noticed since I started the oil pulling 2 weeks ago. (I'm 40 so I can relate to having perpetual acne) I started with olive oil and switched to sesame oil w/ peppermint. And for scarring I find that MSM works really well, for me even better than vitamin E.
Good luck."

[YEA] 09/25/2008: Erica R from Miami, Florida writes: "Milk Thistle cured my acne! I'm now 21 and have had acne for a few years. After many trips to the dermatologist, I was prescribed Accutane which gave me acne-free skin for about a year. I then did acid peels which only made my skin worse. I was also put on birth control - that didn't help either. After lots of research, I finally decided it was time to attack the CAUSE of acne, and not the actual problem. For those of you who don't know it, acne is the cause of a poor functioning liver. If the liver is not functioning properly, acne forms (these are the toxins trying to get out of your body). Therefore, MILK THISTLE is a great natural herb that promotes healthy liver function by getting rid of the damaged liver cells, and creating new, healthy ones. I have not had a pimple since I started taking it, but be patient, it could take up to two weeks for you to see great results! Also, I take the liquid herbal extract - about 30 drops in a glass of water, twice a day."
09/25/2008: THealth from Los Angeles, CA replies: "Hi Erica.Good to know that your acne has cleared and you have beautiful skin . I have not had any breakouts since I started taking the supplement to cleanse my liver. It has been about three weeks and my face is completely clear minus a few scars that I am still trying to fade. YOU WILL SEE HUGE RESULTS IN YOUR FIRST WEEK. This product has worked wonders for me. I have tried many so-called cures (prescription drugs and over-the-counter) but none has given me the results that I have seen thus far. PLEASE TRY IT. I take two capsules daily which are 175mg each. It is very inexpensive and I am confident you will be very pleased with the outcome."

[YEA] 07/24/2006: Nathan from Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam writes: "Supplementing my diet with molasses has decreased my acne about 97% in two weeks. I take two tablespoons when I wake up in the morning, and two before I go to bed at night. It eases digestive problems, so if your acne is related to constipation, it's a sure-fire bet. It also supplements you with minerals such as Chromium, which about 90% of Americans are deficient in."

[NAY] 06/20/2009: M from Rochester Hills, MI writes: "Teenager suffering from acne - nothing seems to work:
I have a question regarding acne. My son is 18 years old and is suffering acne since the age of 14. This makes him terribly depressed, irritable, anxious and angry. We have tried to address this condition both internally and externally. We tried a series of home remedies such as apple cider vinegar, hydrogen peroxide, aloe vera, coconut oil, milk thistle, fluoride removal herbal teas, etc. In addition, he has taken a multitude of vitamins and supplements, kidney and liver cleanse, OTC creams and ointments, Proactive, prescription medication (Minoclycline, Erythromycin ), orally and topically. He has also had a painful laser treatment for 12 weeks. He drinks lots of water. I believe that his diet is a healthy and balanced one, the vast majority of our meals are home made and so is the the food that he takes to school, he only occasionally eats candy, soda and fast food (maybe once a month). All in all, his face is still covered with large areas of pustules. He now wants to try Accutane, but I am very concerned because of the possible side effects, and do not think that it is safe. He is very upset at me for not supporting his decision, this is very hard on our relationship. About a month ago, I started to wonder weather the acne is related to yeast, I started him on caprylic acid, olive leaf and probiotic, in addition, I followed Ted's suggestion of borax (1/4 tsp in one liter, every other day) in water. Then I read about some Australian origin oil capsules in a different forum and decided to add that also, so far none of this is working. I feel that perhaps his body is not able to absorb nutrients or to extract the benefits from these treatments. I have considered trying the so called vibration remedies but they are expensive and lengthy, I don't think that my son would follow through with the treatment (he will be going away to college soon). I am about to start him on colloidal silver (500 ppm, 1/4 tsp, 1x/day). Does anyone have any suggestions? Has anyone tried acupuncture, homeopathy or other types of treatments for acne? I would like to get a treatment plan based on the underlying cause, but doctors usually refuse to do any testing, etc. Does anybody know any good practitioners in Michigan? Please help us. Thank you so much, I really appreciate any ideas."
06/20/2009: Ingrid from Geneva, Ohio replies: "I'm in my 40's and have had acne all my life. I've found recently that pop (soda) does it and occassionally candy. With your son it may be hormones too."
06/20/2009: Kelly from Nashville, TN replies: "Wow,you have tried just about everything. I have been a licensed esthetician for 14yrs and I have never quite heard of a case like this. Just some suggestions. Do you have a Naturopath or Chinese Medicine doctor in your area? Accupunture combined with chinese herbs may help as the system is out of balance. Zinc and water soluable vitamin A (you generally have to ask the pharmacist for this) help with acne. Also, a good vitamin C and E to aid in the healing of the skin. A good natural cleanser would be 1/2 cup of local honey, 1/4 cup of food grade glycerine, 1/8 cup or less of pure castile soap with about 25 drops of a 100% pure, certified grade tea tree essential oil. This would be a very good antibacterial cleanser. There are some other essential oils that help with acne but I think the Naturopath or Chinese Medicine Doctor would be the place to start.
Also, at the other end of the spectrum have you tried benzoyl peroxide? I would recommend a 10% It has an antibacterial action. And a 2% Salicylic Acid wash or lotion. It's important not to use to many drying products as drying/striping the skin of oil will cause it to over produce oil. A very light coating of raw shea butter or jojoba (mimics human sebum) will help. If you would like to email me, I could give you a name of a very good brand of BPO and Sal Acid."
06/21/2009: Angie from Missouri replies: "I have suffered from acne to most of my life, so I know what he is going through. it started when I was probably 12 or 13 and now I am 39 years old. I too have tried so many natural things, things from store, been to the dermatologist when I was younger. what I started doing last summer was making me green smoothies. my recipe is 1/2 or sometimes more of water, some ice cubes, then I add things like celery, cucumber, small amount of fruit like apples, blueberries or whatever you have on hand and always put lots of spinach, I never measured it, but probably approx 2 cups of spinach. after I started doing this, my acne started improving and almost all the whiteheads were gone, except for an occasional, I also had a breast lump that dissapeared. you can add other veggies or fruits, but to me I think one of the key ingrediants is the spinach. I have gotten away from drinking them for the past 2 months and I see my face is slowly starting to break out again, so I know I need to start drinking them again. this would be worth a try and I would give it a couple of weeks to work."
06/21/2009: Linda from York County, Maine replies: "Hello M from Rochester Hills ..... I didn't suffer from acne as a teen; it hit me once I turned 40-talk about being depressed-so may be a bit different from your son's troubles. I found that a homeopathic tablet made by ____ helped tremendously. I find it at ____ and have purchased online at ____....and, at some point, Ted from Bangkok referred to the effect of calcium (in encouraging acne) found in potatoes as being problematic, and sure enough, if I eat potato chips for a couple of days in a row, I tend to notice at least one cyst deveoping. I've heard nothing good about Acutane; I hope your son will reconsider. Acne is painful, I know-Best Wishes, Linda"
06/21/2009: Morus from Sunnyville, OH replies: "Maybe you should give cold showers a try. If you google "cold shower therapy" it should tell you alot of the benefits-including better skin, etc. I know one time, my family lost power for about a week, so we had no hot water. I had to take freezing cold showers all week, and i was really surprised at how good my skin looked. At first i thought maybe i was just drinking alot of water, but now i realize that it was the cold showers. it's definetly worth a try!"

To the mother who is trying so hard to help her son - don't despair - my daughter's face has very few marks . It has been many years and her back is almost without blemish - but it is so hard for the victim of this scourge , all we can do is love them even more . ."

06/22/2009: Bob from Memphis, TN replies: "I don't know if the site will allow this post but, let's give it a go. One of the questions in the post was if anyone had any information on accutane. I posted a response to your question but it was not posted. I suppose the site construed it as I was trying to promote the drug (which I was not). I am as down on the drug and medical industry as anyone on this site, maybe more. I have posted in the past giving my suggestion on how to bleach your teach with h202 as well as my latest on the h202 and acv therapies I have been doing and the results. Anyway, I feel for this kid and would like to give this lady my experience with the drug accutane. If this post is allowed, I allowed my email address to be seen. You can email me directly and I will be glad to tell you about my experience. No, I am not some company trying to promote drugs."
06/24/2009: Venise from Kingston, Jamaica replies: "To M from Rochester whose son suffers from Acne. When I was a teenager I had very very bad acne, just like you described your son's. Anyway, I used CORNMEAL. I got a jug of hot water, washed my face before with soap and faucet water then soaped my hands then add some cornmeal and massage my face. I leave it on and steam my face with the hot water covering my head with a towel while holding it over the jug of hot water (he will have to come up for air sometime) I then wash the face with warm water. This opens the pores. I then squeese some of the bumps but try not to tear the skin. After that I wash my face with faucet water and soap. I then applied small amounts of baking soda to this face (this will burn a little bit.) Sometimes at nights or when I was home for a weekend I mix the CORNMEAL with ALOE VERA and leave it on my face overnight or for a day. THIS WORKED WELL FOR ME. Be minded though that his acne may be caused by anxiety. He should also do some exercise."

[YEA] 04/25/2008: Molly from Berlin, Germany writes: "Hi everyone! first I wanted to say that I love this site and have found it very helpful for minor skin ailments. I am 24 and have always had fairly decent skin, al ittle on the dry side, easily scars, and prone to pimples and have tended to over due it in the product department. In the past couple of months I have developed mild acne probably due to hormonal changes..so i checked with this website and have put together my own skin regime I have found very successful and would love to share with all of you! First I use an all natural but basic bar of soap with as few additives as possible (I happen to use a brand handmade in california called Beesworks as I have found the products to be really gentle and effective, plus they smell great and are all natural and organic! but on that note im sure any natural organic soap would work) About every other day I mix in about one table spoon of baking soda into the soap lather and gentle massage into my face, especially focusing on the problematic areas. The key word here is GENTLY as i have found the if I over scrub or use the baking soda on my skin too often it can be harsh and drying, otherwise it works great in healing my acne. Then i rinse with cold water and after patting my skin dry I splash apple cider vinegar on my skin as a toner, then finish with pure vitamin E as a moisturizer and to heal my acne scars. the ACV is not the nicest smelling toner and the Vitamin E can be a little sticky so I usually save this regime for nighttime before bed and in the morning just stick to the bar of soap and a natural moisturizer. An alternative to the ACV is just plain lemon juice and i have found this more pleasant smelling, but not as effective as the ACV. A couple of times a week I do a homemade mask of yogurt and honey. This makes my skin so soft and dewey and also helps with the acne. The best part about this regime besides how effective it is, is its cost! It happens to be really affordable so stop buying those fancy expensive skin care products ESPECIALLY if they have ANY chemicals in it and experiment with natural ingredient instead until you find a regime that works for your particular skin type."
