[YEA] 12/25/2008: Rebecca from Simi Valley, CA writes: "I was diagnosed with GERD a year ago my valve between my esophagus and stomach was gone and I had surgery to rebuild it last Jan. I started having symptoms again in Nov I was nauseous for a month straight after many expensive tests ( i moved states) they told me I have Gerd (surprise) and put me on Nexium (expensive)and Reglan, to no avail.
I found this site and wow! Thanks so much. I wanted to give you all some help I found. I drink the ACV hot in lemon tea with honey tastes like strong apple cider but it is much more palatable! I can eat all foods thanks to ACV and I am only nauseous maybe 1 out of 15 days instead of everyday. What a life saver.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you all and thanks for sharing such vital info."

12/09/2008: Kenneth from Manila, Philippines writes: "i have been suffering from this almost 2 years now. im having a hard time to breath, my chest is heavy, and the food i ate seems to back up from my stomach to my upper abdomen up to the esophagus. and there's like a air pressure from my stomach that's pushing whats inside up. and the pain seems to be reflecting up to the side of my neck. i have a difficulty of turning it, and when i do, seems to be worsening the pain in my chest. and i also have difficulty being with other people or spending time with them when I'm in pain. (like a melting candle).
i have episodes morning, noon and night. a pulmonologist a expert doctor of respiratory problem diagnosed me of having GERD. i went there because i toughed that I'm suffering from a respiratory disease. he prescribe me to take proton pump inhibitor. i take it for 2 weeks and it helped me to ease the pain just a little but pain is still there. i came back and he advice me to see a gastrointestinal doctor, and he also said, that i can have surgery if my case is worse, i am very frightened that time. so before i decided to go, i searched the Internet one night for some remedies for acid reflux, and my search lead me to earthclinic.com. i have read about many post regarding ACV, and that ACV cured thier acid reflux.
so we immediately buy it from a local supermarket we buyed the unfiltered one, the one thats with the mother on it. i drink 2tbsp. of it in a 8oz of water 3x a day. and after drinking it, i felt relief from the heaviness of my chest, but some of the pain is still there. i continue to use it and i am on my 4th week now, but most of the time im still having episodes of: air pressure in my stomach, food backing up on my upper abdomen, pain still reflecting on the side of my neck, difficulty in breathing and speaking.
i am fully relieved from all of this when i fart, and release all the air inside my stomach. base on my condition, am i really suffering from GERD? Because I haven't gone to a gastroenterologist doctor yet, and afraid to do so because it might cause us fortune on the medecines on laboratory such as endoscopy.
because most of all the postings that Ive read from ACV user's that after 2 weeks or so, they have been already cured from acid reflux. i am on my 4th week now, what do you think should i do?
by the way, i can't also choose the food i eat in lunch, and dinner because of finacial status. but im still trying to do so.Avoiding fatty foods, specially fried, chocolates, milk, and many more. and i also smoke a little for time to time. Does all of this affect the effect of ACV? what should i do?
please help me, because im always in pain and having frustrations because despite of using ACV Im still in pain. Hoping for your fast reply on my letter. Thank you in advance and GOD bless."

12/08/2008: Rita from Valparaiso, IN writes: "I have been on Protonics for about 6mo now and am still suffering horribly with acid reflux. I also have developed a chronic itch in my throat which causes me to cough constantly. I dont sleep at night and neither does my husband due to all the noise. I sometimes cough to the verge of throwing up. I now believe I may have GERD. I am going to the store on my lunch hour and purchasing organic ACV and giving it a whirl. It is worth the try after reading all these comments. Thank you so much!"

[YEA] 12/04/2008: Ursula from Sudbury, Ontario/Canada writes: "I found your website because after trying all different kinds of thing without substantial results I decided to go back to a more natural approach. So I have a lap band for several years already - lately my trouble with acid reflux got worse and I thought the symptoms like pain behind my sternum, extreme tightness in my throat even down to my esophagus was caused by a too tight lab band, but my surgeon ensured me after reviewing my x-rays that my lap band and the way it is placed and the way my stomach pouch is located is just perfect.
So he agreed that the discomfort, PAIN, and nightly suffocation attacks indicate a acid reflux problem and he gave me a prescription for Apo-Omeprazole.
Even though it cost me $ 155 I didn't feel too comfortable to take it with all the things and side effects - so to make a long story short - having heard about Apple Cider Vinegar I looked for it on the internet and came to this website, yesterday. I took the vinegar water mix (1.5 tablespoon of vinegar/1 glass water) right away and since then 3 times per day. After two glasses of mix last night I had the best night sleep in a long time.
Anybody else out there with a lap band and acid reflux problems?"
03/05/2009: Angie from Lake Charles, La replies: "Yes I have the lap band for about 5 years now have lost 170 pounds have been suffering with acid flux for a year and half now. i am on nexium which helps but it's at night that's the problem all the problems you guys have stated i have. i am going to give the apple cider vinger a try and see. it's getting really bad i don't sleep at all plus it is affecting my ashtma to. i know if i go to my lab band doctor he will tell me to take out that band and that's not gonna happen sorry i know i would gain some weight back and i am not gonna let that happen. gonna give this a try and see."

[YEA] 12/02/2008: Frances from Blanchard, LA writes: "I have been using the apple cider remedy off and on for the last 3 weeks. Because I was laid off from work the state run insurance decided that I did not need the Acid Reflux med. They said I could use the over the counter stuff. After 6 months of agony I went to the internet and found the acid reflux remedy. It has been a great relief to me and it also has cleared my skin which really surprised. I use the apple cider vinegar to rinse my hair too.
I have been using 1 teaspoon to 8 oz of water. I use about a 1/4 cup of vinegar in a large 20 oz cup water shampoo and the rinse with the vinegar."

[BETTER BUT NOT CURED] 11/29/2008: Gil from Niagara Area, Canada writes: "Wondering if anyone has ever had chest pains from Gerds? I used to take Fosamax for a few years until it made me have acid reflux. I was diagnosed with Gerds about 5 years ago. I am on two Prevacids a day and most times they don't work. I had heard about the ACV a few years back but was afraid to try it in case it would make things worse. I don't do well with plain vinegar, so why would this be any different? I was in so much pain this week, that I picked up a bottle of the plain stuff last night @ the grocery store. I only took a half a tsp in 8 ounces of water with a little maple syrop and I am feeling a bit better.
What troubles me is the chest pains. I have never had them so bad. It was burning in both breast bone area and also in my upper chest. A bit of pain in my right arm as well. I think it is all related to the acid. Has anyone had similar problems?? Was also nauseated @ the beginning of the week when this all started being so bad. It woke me up just sortly after 1 pm. I have IBS as well as Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue, so I never know what is happening. I see some people on here use organic ACV. Is it better than other types??"
[SIDE EFFECTS] 11/30/2008: Gil from Niagara Area, Canada replies: "Have been taking ACV for two days now. I have been taking two tbsps in a 8 ounce bottle of water with honey and sipping @ it all day long. I have noticed that it is helping somewhat. I have been getting gas after drinking it and bad cramps. Also now i have pains in the pit of my stomach. Has anyone else had these reactions and should I be taking it only in the morning and @ night? Could it be also that it isn't organic ACV?? Please, any feedback would be apreciated!"
12/08/2008: Shawn from Toronto, On replies: "In response to Gill: I used to have horrible chest pain and throat pain from reflux, esp. at night. I started sleeping with 2 pillows. That helped. I tried ACV by itself and mixed with a bit of baking soda--the latter worked best. But the best thing that worked was changing my diet--no processed food, only whole food. I drink a lot of green tea, no coffee anymore. I eat mainly vegetarian. If I eat fatty foods, I have a hot liquid with it to help digest it.
I also had fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue as well as some lupus-like symptoms about 8 years ago. I decided against prednisone and instead researched alternative approaches. Along with eating a balanced whole food diet, I added fish oil/flax oil and turmeric capsules, which both reduce inflammation--I highly recommend both. It took around 5 years in total of being dedicated to my health, but I'm proud to say that I'm now free of all those health issues. The only thing left is occasional IBS and heartburn, which I treat by lightening my diet, having lots of warm liquids and using ACV with baking soda when desperate. What I learned was: Prevention works better than treatment. Good luck."
12/16/2008: Sharayah from Castro Valley, CA, USA replies: "It's very important to go to your health food store and get organic ACV with the "mother". Buying ACV from the grocery store is made more for pickling and salad dressings etc. I first drank some of this and it tasted very foul and gave me very bad cramps and heartburn. Switch to the health food ACV and you will be OK."

[YEA] 11/28/2008: Marsha from Quartzsite, Arizona writes: "I have been on Zantac 50 mg. once a day for the past 15 years. I have been suffering with Acid Reflux for the past 4 months. I have only had 3 weeks relief out of the past 4 months using homepathic medications, I ran out of them and within 2 weeks the pain in my stomach and the pressure in my chest have been so bad I was desperate. My friend has been trying to get me to try Apple Cidar Vinegar and I thought yuck who wants to drink vinegar. I tried it for the first time 2 days ago and could not believe within minutes the pressure was gone. I slept better that night than I have in 4 months."
12/07/2008: Roxanne from Cape Coral, FL replies: "I have tried the acv and did in fact get some relief. Don't be to concerned about the taste, it is such a small amount that will give you (or at least gave me) months of relief. I drink 1Tbs when needed and that's approx every 4-5 months. After the first one, you don't even think about the taste anymore (it's better cold though). In fact, my 12 year old neice suffers from reflux and I got her to drink. There is no burning, more like a cooling effect. Good luck!!"

I AM MORE CONVINCED THAT NATURAL MEDICINE IS THE WAY TO GO. THINK ABOUT IT! WOULD GOD PUT 6 BILLION PEOPLE ON THIS EARTH WITHOUT THE NATURAL MEDICINE NEEDED FROM NATURE ALONE? OF COURSE NOT! PHARMACEUTICAL DRUGS ARE UNNATURAL AND IT'S FOREIGN CHEMICALS ARE SIMPLY JUST NOT GOOD FOR OUR BODIES. "

11/24/2008: Jenny from Orem, UT/USA writes: "I also got my esophagus and stomach scoped. I have some acid reflux damage showing on my esophagus, and I don't really understand my acid reflux. I rarely have problems with it (I take antacids before bed), but every once in a while I have problems where my throat hurts, I feel sick, can't breathe, etc., and It's horrible. I take pepto and tums when I feel like that, but it takes a while to work and I feel sick for a while. I have not tried the ACV remedy yet, and I'm a little hesitant to. Does it cause any nausea? Will it burn my throat or stomach? Does anyone have any advice for my problems? I'm thankful for any advice!"

[WORKED TEMPORARILY] 11/09/2008: Carol from Sioux Falls, South Dakota writes: "I have suffered from severe acid reflux for the last year. Was placed on Nexium and had horrible side effects. My esophogus is throbbing constantly. I have had all the tests, stress tests, chest x_rays,upper endoscopy and Chest CT--all came out ok. I went off the nexium 15 days ago and the rebound was miserable--the side effects are still there----ringing in my ears, tingling in my legs, dizziness, etc. I have been on the apple cider vinegar remedy for the last 15 days. It helped a little at first but the discomfort is back. The throbbing in my esophogus and not sleeping is the worst. I definitely believe that the vinegar does help some people but I'm not so sure about the really tough cases like mine. I would sincerely appreciate some feedback as I have no intention of ever going back on the nexium. Is 15 days on the vinegar remedy long enough to expect at least some improvement? Thanks for the help."
11/14/2008: SUZANNE from ATLANTA, GA replies: "I have severe GERD and haven't yet tried the acv treatment, but was previously prescribed Nexium which gave me a severe migraine. I have since been taking Prevacid which works much better."
11/26/2008: Laurie from Winston Salem, NC replies: "I was on a medicine called Aciphex and loved it. I had no issues with side effects. I'm now on Nexium because my insurance decided not to pay for the Aciphex anymore. I'm not as pleased with Nexium and try to avoid taking it unless my symptoms become severe. Otherwise I use over the counter stuff, and that doesn't seem to always work either. I'm going to try the ACV to see if it helps."

[YEA] 11/08/2008: Keran from Cocoa, FL writes: "I have suffered for over 20 years with acid reflux. Prilosec used to work when it was prescribed and not able to be bought over the counter. I suffered morning noon and night. Just taking a drink of water in the morning would trigger the acid reflux. Tonight I was so fed up with drinking baking soda, that I typed in "home remedies for acid reflux disease" and hit this site. I immediately drank ACV with water and cannot believe the burning is gone. When I get up in the morning, before coffee I am going to drink it again. WOW what a relief it is, so ironic, I am saying that, isn't that a slogan for a commercial that doesn't work?? I am in heaven. Just so you know, my husband wanted to have sex today, but I was in so much pain from the disgusting pain of acid reflux, I had to pass, but after the ACV treatment, I invited him to bed!!!!"

[YEA] 11/08/2008: Frank from Potomac , MD USA writes: "I was Rx Nexium that control my symptoms for awhile but if I stopped the medication I was back in pain. I also had a hard time lying flat on my back to sleep. I also got to a point that I had to eliminate certain foods from my diet. I read the messages on this site and was impressed. I tried taking the ACV 2 table spoons in a glass of water . After 2 weeks I stopped the Nexium and I no longer need any medication, I am back eating anything I want , I breath better , I sleep flat on my back without any problems. Im a physician myself and I think the current medical analysis and cause of GERD is wrong. I think the cause is either
1. Low Stomach Acid Production " under production "
2. Yeast infection
3. Unkown Parasite
Item 1 is less likely I think its either 2 or 3 , the ACV kills the organisim over a 1-2 week time period . Just my thoughts . ACV has saved my way of life . Thank God for sites like this!"

[YEA] 10/27/2008: Alan from Windsor, UK writes: "Having suffered for a while with the symptoms of GERD my doctor put me on a repeating prescription of PPI's, Omeprazole and then lansoprazole. The side effects of these plus the reducing effectiveness led me to this site.
I tried 2 tbs of apple cider vinegar once a day in water but gave up too soon - after a few weeks. Well the pain and unpleasant symptoms continued and I jumped backed to the PPIs. After a few days of the side effects and the fact that they weren't treating the symptoms any longer I decided to go back to the Apple cider vinegar but decided to give it a go for a month. I used 2tbs,three times a day, occasionally adding a quarter teaspoon of bicarb. After a few weeks the symptoms went away.
I would like to point out that I gave up drinking fizzy drinks as well & so perhaps the combination worked. Frankly I don't care as I am now sleeping so much better and have even reduced the number of times I have the ACV.
I guess the moral of the story for me was that you have to be prepared to be in it for the long haul.
Hope this helps."

[BETTER BUT NOT CURED] 10/18/2008: Casey from Chicora, Pennsylvania writes: "hi this is the first time i have ever replied to a website like this. so here it goes. for the last couple of wks i have . recently i have had severe chest pain, earache, and flu like symptoms on one day. yesterday at work i was in really bad shape my chest felt like i had a 500lb person sitting on it and i am only 117lbs so that is alot. i though i was havin a heartattack. on top of that i took four asprin not all at once but during a 8 hr pd.so i woke up today and took tums. they relieved some of the pain but i didnt really have much. i figured i would look on the internet to see about acid reflux due to i remember havin it a few yrs ago but not thtat bad. i read the acv article and decided to try it. well i have had it in my system for two hrs now and it seems to have helped alot. except for the whole fact of the taste is really bad. lol. i really hope it works and stays away. but we will see. thanks for the advice though and i love this site."
10/28/2008: Connie from Knoxville, TN replies: "Casey, you said you had severe pressure in your chest... was it more the center of the chest or under your left rib cage... I am experiencing major pressure under left rib cage and the drugs, ACV, etc. seem to be doing nothing. This is only my first day using ACV, so I will give it more time. Thanks."
10/31/2008: Lorraine from Charles Town, WV, USA replies: "Hello, in answer to your pressure in the chest issue... I have esophageal cancer and a hernia, I also get the pressure in the chest and it seems to be related to the early digestive process. I strongly urge you to try sitting up straight to take pressure off the stomach, and try to breathe deeply. Tums may help some, but I found it really didn't get to the pressure area. I think you need to speak with your DR on this, make sure that the pressure is not from a twist in the intestines or hernia.Eating right and staying away from coffee is also important. (Take it from me, black coffee is not your friend).
Some of the earliest signs of cancer go undetected because today's society makes indigestion as common a reference as overeating. But it IS serious, and can make your life painfully change if you do not address the situation medically. If you have not been to the doctor, go. The pressure in my chest is what caused me to go, and although it was from air in the herniated area of the stomach (where it comes into the chest cavity) I would never have caught the cancer until it was deadly. Don't take unnecessary risks with your life. It is too short as it is."

[SIDE EFFECTS] 10/07/2008: John from Fishers, IN writes: "ACV: I have suffered Gerds for years and have been on Nexium, Prilosec and PRevicid. I eat ante acids like they are candy...I decided to try this remedy the other day and it felt a little better, but then I started getting an unbelievable burning in my stomach. I am still taking tums and I am currently trying not to take this other medicine. Doctor has me on zantac, not sure what to do. How much time is needed on this, it literally feels like my stomach is on fire. I want off of Nexium because I think it is causing my vertigo....anyone else have vertigo issues???"
EC: How much apple cider vinegar did you use? Was it well diluted with water? Was it an organic brand? More details needed, please!
01/18/2009: Bev from Seattle, WA replies: "Not only will Proton Pump Inhibitors cause vertigo, they also cause headaches...for me...migraines! I'm referring to Prevacid, Nexium, Prilosec, etc. I took Prevacid for almost 3 years, went off of it and didn't have a migraine for 10 months. When I started coughing up bile my doctor told me to go back on Prevacid. On the 3rd day of taking Prevacid I ended up with a migraine that lasted 2 days. It was awful. I've since gone off the Prevacid and am now using what Ted talks about: 2 Tablespoons Apple Cider Vinegar, 1/4 teaspoon of soda mixed in 1/2 glass of water. I took it after I ate this afternoon and can't believe how much better I feel. Thank you Earth Clinic and Ted for your time and insight!"

[YEA] 10/05/2008: Holly from Aliso Viejo, California writes: "Over the last year, I've noticed occasional burning in my throat that was similar to heartburn. I've also felt like I had something stuck in my throat. Last night when I went to bed, the pain and spasms were so severe, I actually considered going to an urgent care facility. I eventually fell asleep sitting up.
This morning, my internet research indicated that I probably have Laryngopharyngeal Reflux or "LPR" which is similar to GERD, just higher up in the throat.
Looking for a natural remedy, I found this website about ACV. 30 minutes ago, I drank 2 teaspoons of ACV mixed in a glass of water. I'm already feeling some relief! Keeping fingers crossed that this is the remedy I'm looking for! Thank you everyone for taking the time to post your thoughts! I think you just saved me a lot of "heart (burn) ache"."
10/10/2008: Willie from Los Angeles, CA replies: "Holly, I haven't tried ACV as a remedy yet but am curious: I am a singer and am curious about your LPR. Did it affect your voice in anyway? Did it make you hoarse or gravely, or noticably reduce the range or resiliency of your speaking/singing voice?"
10/21/2008: Shannon from Orlando, FL replies: "Willie,10/10/2008: Willie (wwisely [at] earthlink [dot] net) from Los Angeles, CA replies: "Holly, I haven't tried ACV as a remedy yet but am curious: I am a singer and am curious about your LPR. Did it affect your voice in anyway? Did it make you hoarse or gravely, or noticably reduce the range or resiliency of your speaking/singing voice?"
My husband is a professional singer and a few months ago was diagnosed with LPR, along with a polyp on one vocal cord and the other with a slight rupture. UGH! Last thing a singer wants to hear. It does affect your range and can give you a hoarseness, but so can a polyp. I know you don't want to hear this, you should go to a ENT who specializes in singers (ask around) to check for any vocal cord damage. My husband let it go so long he would lose his voice after one night of singing, you don't want that. They tried to put him on an acid suppressor, but we refused, since I was able to control my acid reflux naturally. He modified his diet, gave up alcohol, cigars (occassional), and started taking Digest Gold (plant enzymes). He dones not take ACV, but I do and have had mixed results. If my stomach is burning and it's just in my throat (lump, burning) it helps. But if my stomach is burning, it seems to make it worse. That's me and everyone is different. Go get checked out and if you do have LPR, try the home remedies here and on other sites 1st, before going on a script. I want on a proton inhibitor and it made me way worse, I could only sleep straight up. We need acid to digest our food. Enzymes help alot too! Good luck!"

09/27/2008: Mike from Manila, Philippines writes: "I have a question. What if the cause of the reflux is wound on the esophagus? will ACV be alright?"
10/09/2008: Julian from Willow Grove, Pennsylvania replies: "The wound in your esophagus didn't cause your acid reflux. It is the result of the acid creeping back up your throat and damaging your esophagus. Prevacid takes care of my acid reflux, and when I run out of it, I swallow a spoonful of balsamic vinegar. Try it."

[YEA] 09/23/2008: Mary from Raleigh, NC writes: "I have been suffering with acid reflux for about a year and a half but didn't want to take the PPIs. I have taken Nexium, Aciphex, Prilosec, etc. but nothing worked for me. In fact, some of the meds made my symptoms worse. I started seeing a naturopathic Dr. and it helped to some extent, but didn't alleviate the symptoms entirely. I would wake up several times during the night and finally had to elevate our bed about 8 inches, which my husband had to get used to. This helped too, but still was waking up with symptoms. Yesterday i was searching the internet and found this site and i saw the ACV comments and decided to try it. So i mixed a tablespoon of organic ACV with a cup of water and added some maple syrup for sweetening and drank 1 dose at about 6:00 pm and another before bedtime. Last night was the first night in MONTHS that i have slept thru the night and felt rested. It was awesome! That pain behind my sternum has disappeared and i don't feel that "hairball" in my throat anymore. I took another dose this morning and feel almost "normal" again. I can't believe what a difference this is making for me! I am so thankful that i tried this. I was almost at the end of my rope with these symptoms and just could not take the meds anymore. I've actually heard from some naturopathic folks that acid reflux is actually a LACK of stomach acid. Don't know if that's true, but it makes sense if the ACV is making the symptoms disappear. I plan to continue with this therapy and hope that it will continue to work."
[NAY] 09/24/2008: Dan from Washington, DC replies: "Huge NAY for Apple Cider Vinegar to treat Acid Reflux. I tried it after reading the site. The cider hurt my stomach and made my symptoms much worse It kept me up until 3am. Tread carefully."
[YEA] 09/25/2008: Leena from Montrose, CO replies: "Dan, when I first tried the ACV I had the same reaction. Do try it again it works!!!! I have had acid reflux for about 3 years - ACV does work..hopefully you will try it again...good luck cause it is painful..now I'm cured."

[YEA] 09/19/2008: DANIEL A MANJARREZ SANTIAGO from LOS ANGELES, US writes: "I TRIED EC REMEDY OF ACV SUGESTION FOR MY ACID REFLUX. I'VE BEEN IN PPI'S SINCE 1993. I JUST READ THE INFO ON THIS SITE AND RAN TO TRADER'S JOE FOR IT. I TOOK A 16oz GLASS WITH 2 TBSPNS AT NITE. IS GONE! I STILL CAN'T BELIEVE. ALSO MY ITCHY NOSE STOPPED!! THIS WAS DUE TO ALLERGIES. I'M NOW DRINKING THE 2TBSP W/1LTR OF WATER TO SEE WHAT HAPPENS. THANK THE LORD FOR THIS SITE AND BLESSINGS TO YOU ALL THAT THOUGHT OF THIS!!
** one tiny thing: My upper right lip started tremoring as soon as I finished with the 16oz glass. By morning it looks like cold sores where coming out, but they were dead! No pain, no itching, no redness. They were gone by 8:00am. The lip still tremoring, though, any thoughts...?"
EC: One of the remedies on this page might help with the lip twitching: http://www.earthclinic.com/CURES/eye_twitch.html

[NAY] 09/19/2008: Kathleen from Billings, Montana writes: "I have both GERD & Hiatal Hernia, and found that the Apple Cider Vinegar tablets made my condition worse (in fact my doctor told me not to take it anymore). So, what brand of apple cider vinegar do you recommend for me to take that Will help?"
EC: We've never been great fans of the tablets! Any organic brand will do.
10/31/2008: Pam from Colorado Springs, CO, USA replies: "ACV apple cider vinegar for Acid Reflux. Dont use the tablets use the real thing, Braggs make an excellent Oraganic ACV. And with some people it takes longer than just a few times of trying it. I use 2tbsp ACV in 8oz cup of hot water with honey."
11/03/2008: Kevin from Leesburg, VA replies: "Interesting to see yours got worse. Here is an idea.... I buy into a good portion of Dr. Amato's blood type principals. The vinegar or vinegar tabs making your reflux worse suggests to me that you produce enough stomach acid on your own: and that is suggestive of type O.
I am an O and will soon begin a vinegar regiment soon BUT I will bring the vinegar to neutral or more alkaline by adding baking SODA (sodium bicarbonate) to my solution as discussed in places on this site. 1/2 tsp. Baking soda (plus a pinch) should neutralize 2 tbs. of 50 grain / 5% acidity ACV .
My G.E.R.D. was vanquished when I eliminated breads and most wheat products from my diet. Best Wishes"
