Date the First Boil Appeared: February 2007. Recurrance March 9, 2007.

Was it raining or snowing a day or two before the first boil appeared? If yes, exactly how many days? Heavy rains a few days before my first one. Heavy rains again a few days before this recurrence.

What was your diet the days leading up to your first boil? Were you eating differently than normal? No, pretty much the same as always.

Did you injure or cut yourself outside before the boil appeared? Or, did the boil appear in an area that had previously been cut or injured? It's in my right armpit again, so I shave there regularly, so I have no idea.

Did you travel to any cities or countries recently? If so, which ones? If yes, how soon after did your boil appear? No, just stayed in East Texas.

Were you in a hospital or doctor's office before getting the first boil? If yes, how soon after did your boil appear? Not that I remember.

Have you been around any soldiers returning from Afghanistan or Iraq? If yes, how soon after did your boil appear? No.

Was your immune system weakened prior to the staph infection? That is, were you fighting a viral or bacterial infection? My first one I had tonsillitis or something and my tonsil on the right abscessed. During then I also got my first bump under my right armpit, followed by more and more bumps. I went to the doctor who gave me an antibiotic, it went away while I was on it but within a day after not taking it anymore I had the same exact thing happen again...tonsils swelling, and knots under my arm that will last a month or so.

Any additional comments about your condition? Also, are we missing an important question on this questionnaire? I read the article on turmeric and will try that this time. My first boil is about the size of a quarter and every few days I have another spring up...I now have 5 under my arm. I hope this works because I feel totally run down and it hurts so bad especially in that spot. The heat isn't helping too much either. They are hard, swollen, tender and red. I'll write back to let you know if the turmeric works for me.

Date the First Boil Appeared: April 2001 (Easter Week-end at the time)

Was it raining or snowing a day or two before the first boil appeared? If yes, exactly how many days? Not that I recall. It's rainy here in the UK anytime in winter or early spring and not an unusual occurence.

What was your diet the days leading up to your first boil? Were you eating differently than normal? I had a lot of chocolate (it was Easter time)

Did you injure or cut yourself outside before the boil appeared? Or, did the boil appear in an area that had previously been cut or injured? No

Did you travel to any cities or countries recently? If so, which ones? If yes, how soon after did your boil appear? I have travelled internationally for 30 years as part of my job to all continents. The first boil occurred about one month after a trip to France to visit a dying relative in hospital.

Were you in a hospital or doctor's office before getting the first boil? If yes, how soon after did your boil appear? Yes, I was in hospital visiting a sick relative in France.

Have you been around any soldiers returning from Afghanistan or Iraq? If yes, how soon after did your boil appear? Not that I am aware of

Was your immune system weakened prior to the staph infection? That is, were you fighting a viral or bacterial infection? Yes. I had been through 2 recent bereavements, and had had sleep deprivation and travel fatigue. I had had a very bad cold in January which turned to bronchitis

Any additional comments about your condition? Also, are we missing an important question on this questionnaire? Treatments which have helped and those which have not? I was on short courses of erythromicin for 2 years without any improvement (boils came back every 6 weeks, with a vengence). Then I saw a dermatologist who gave me short courses of minocycline, and 'cured' me for two years solid. I now get occasional flare ups every 5 to 6 months. I have one now. I am back on minocycline for 3 months and use clindamycin lotion twice a day. This helps abort most boils, but the occasional whopper does get through, normally when I am down or excessively tired. I know I don't do enough to keep away from annoying habits such as touching my face, rubbing my nose and eyes, and keeping a scrupulous surface cleaning routine.

3/26/2007: Joe from Los Angeles, Ca. writes: "I recently had a red itching boil pop up on my hand, which grew very painful within two days, I saw my doctor and he prescribed Kevlex an antibiotic, within three days it had grown in such a manner that upon my doctor seeing it again, sent me straight into surgery. He then switched me to Bacctrum ( sulfa) and Rifampin ( an old antibiotic used for tuberculosis. The wound was kept open and had to be cleaned an packed every other day.

this went on for a week and finally it seemed that it had subsided. Two weeks later another one popped up on my right upper hip. by the time I noticed it, it was the size of a quarter and very hot. I began the antibiotics again and had it lanced by a doctor. After a week of hellish antibiotic treatment, it has gone and everything seems ok...except now my five year old daughter has one on her nose and it was cultured and is also MRSA. My wife had a culture to make sure. ( nostrils) and came back positive.

We have been to the infectious disease center at Cedar sinai and what no one is telling you, is that this an epidemic. The doctors there said they see this 24/7.

Stopping it in your home requires very careful and thoughtful cleaning of hands and keeping any open wounds covered with bandaids. it lives on the skin, it is not airborne, so contact is how it happens. You touch it, then scratch somewhere and it goes there. it occurs mostly where there is an open cut or hair follicle that can be infected. It has occurred due to an over use of antibiotics, that have caused certain staph bacteria to build up a tolerance to the overused medicines. do not lance these boils yourself that is how it spreads and it grows at a rate of doubling every 24 hours."

Date the First Boil Appeared: I have been researching your website for Celiac Disease. I was diagnosed 3 years ago with this disease. My symptoms were large boils on the butt, itchy rash on the face and neck, hair loss and all of the other long term effects of undiagnosed celiac's - confusion, high cholesterol, intestinal problems, the works! I apparently had been mis diagnosed for years, but my dermatologist said that the boils -one each year for 3 years lasting about a week -were related to the celiacs - Since being diagnosed, I have not had any at all - of course, I must stay away from all gluten. I have refused all medical treatments (lipitor-etc)and find that ACV in the AM and active culture yogurt in the PM help a lot! thanks for all your great info -

Was it raining or snowing a day or two before the first boil appeared? If yes, exactly how many days? As I stated above - I stopped getting them about three years ago after I stopped eating gluten.

What was your diet the days leading up to your first boil? Were you eating differently than normal? At the time, I didn't know what was bothering me, as I had a whole host of problems from the celiac's.

Did you injure or cut yourself outside before the boil appeared? Or, did the boil appear in an area that had previously been cut or injured? not that I'm aware of.

Did you travel to any cities or countries recently? If so, which ones? If yes, how soon after did your boil appear? no

Were you in a hospital or doctor's office before getting the first boil? If yes, how soon after did your boil appear? no

Have you been around any soldiers returning from Afghanistan or Iraq? If yes, how soon after did your boil appear? no

Was your immune system weakened prior to the staph infection? That is, were you fighting a viral or bacterial infection? I believe that since Celiac's disease is an auto immune disease, I assume that my amuse system was weaker than it is now.

Any additional comments about your condition? Also, are we missing an important question on this questionnaire? Even though I have read that 1 in 133 people in this country have Celiac's Disease, not enough testing has been done to rule it out as the problem. I had never heard of it before I finally figured it out -For years I was diagnosed and had treatment for a list of conditions that were all false.

Dave tried to drain his with a needle but ended up making it much larger. I tried neosporin but no luck with it so when i picked up daves antibiotics i got ichthammol ointment which was recommended by the pharmacist. Date the First Boil Appeared: I've been having problems with boils for the past 3 years.

Was it raining or snowing a day or two before the first boil appeared? If yes, exactly how many days? There was a rainstorm 3 days before the most recent boil appeared this week.

What was your diet the days leading up to your first boil? Were you eating differently than normal? Eating normally, not as healthily as I should. I also take a multivitamin and 6 grams of Vitamin C each day.

Did you injure or cut yourself outside before the boil appeared? Or, did the boil appear in an area that had previously been cut or injured? No

Did you travel to any cities or countries recently? If so, which ones? If yes, how soon after did your boil appear?

Yes, I had the Norwalk virus last month.

Any additional comments about your condition? Also, are we missing an important question on this questionnaire? I've been getting boils for the past 3 years. They started on my face and neck and now I'm getting them under my arms and on my stomach. A couple of them have caused some unsightly scarring and one even caused a small keloid scar to develop on my jaw. I've been on countless rounds of antibiotics and none of them has made the slightest bit of difference. My doctor diagnosed it as staph. My husband, son and daughter also have bouts of staph but not as severe as mine. We have not been tested for MRSA. My son's pediatrician told us that there's been a record-breaking outbreak of MRSA in this part of SC, but for some reason it's not being reported on the news or any other media. This latest outbreak is on the left side of my stomach, about the size of a softball. I have also been running a low-grade fever with it and intended to go to the doctor if it hadn't started draining on its own, which it finally did. It drained an ungodly amount of pus and I think it's finally on the way to healing. I've tried megadoses of Vitamin C, silica, black drawing salve and of course, the useless antibiotics. The next step is to try turmeric, as recommended by your site. I have high hopes for it!

Date the First Boil Appeared: 3/9/07

Was it raining or snowing a day or two before the first boil appeared? If yes, exactly how many days? I don't remember the weather before I left VA. When I arrived in Aspen 3/8/07 in the afternoon and it started to snow for about 2 hours. On 3/9, at 11:00am I had a seaweed wrap at the hotel spa where I was staying That afternoon a boil started that developed into an abscess while in Nicaragua.

What was your diet the days leading up to your first boil? Were you eating differently than normal? Lots of water, tap and bottled in Aspen. Oatmeal and coffee for breakfast. No lunch. Red meat, vegetables and 1 glass of wine for dinner. Meals were heavier - MUCH more water due to high altitude headaches. In Nicaragua - lots of bottled water due to the heat. More starches, fried foods and cheeses.

Did you injure or cut yourself outside before the boil appeared? Or, did the boil appear in an area that had previously been cut or injured? The boil appeared on my backside, where one sits (the right cheek). There was no injury there previous to the seaweed wrap (with heat) I received at the hotel's spa on Friday at 11:00am. By 4:00pm that day I noticed what I thought was a sting, which was irritating. As the days progressed in Aspen and then more intra/inter-national flights were necessary the injury worsened. After I arrived for the Medical Mission I started to limp from the pain.

Did you travel to any cities or countries recently? If so, which ones? If yes, how soon after did your boil appear? 3/8 - 3/12 Aspen, CO. Original outbound flight cxld on 3/10. 3/12 - 3/17 - Granada, Nicaragua. Boil was already progressing and growing but would not come to a head while in Nicaragua. 3/17 return to Washington, DC

Were you in a hospital or doctor's office before getting the first boil? If yes, how soon after did your boil appear? I was not in a medical office.

Have you been around any soldiers returning from Afghanistan or Iraq? If yes, how soon after did your boil appear? NO

Was your immune system weakened prior to the staph infection? That is, were you fighting a viral or bacterial infection? I was fighting a cold and had fallen down a flight of stairs. The fall caused a jagged wound to my kneecap that would not heal properly. (it was too cold here to allow the wound fresh air most of the day. It really did not heal until 3/15/07 when I could wear a skirt most of the time.

Any additional comments about your condition? Also, are we missing an important question on this questionnaire? I was the translator on a medical mission from 3/12 - 3/17 in Granada, Nicaragua. I was treated with a course of anti-biotics at hand (doxycycline and keflex) and have since had an allergic reaction to the keflex (250mg). On 3/21 I visited my own doctor who was concerned the abscess is still painful and has not completely drained. I am on clindamycin hcl (300mg) for 7 days. If it is not healed by 3/27 I am to see an infectious disease specialist I know.

Was it raining or snowing a day or two before the first boil appeared? If yes, exactly how many days? rain...1 week later

What was your diet the days leading up to your first boil? Were you eating differently than normal? no diet. nothing abnormal.

Did you injure or cut yourself outside before the boil appeared? Or, did the boil appear in an area that had previously been cut or injured? no. no.

Did you travel to any cities or countries recently? If so, which ones? If yes, how soon after did your boil appear? Yes. One month later.

Were you in a hospital or doctor's office before getting the first boil? If yes, how soon after did your boil appear? no.

Have you been around any soldiers returning from Afghanistan or Iraq? If yes, how soon after did your boil appear? no.

Was your immune system weakened prior to the staph infection? That is, were you fighting a viral or bacterial infection? no.

Any additional comments about your condition? Also, are we missing an important question on this questionnaire? Oddly enough, but the doctors relate this outbreak to picking or sneezing the nose. So the first question would be: Has there been reason for unusual amount of sneezing or an unusual cause to filter the nose?

Note: none of the entries prior to 3/21/2007 will address many of our questions since we just added them to our form. We also deleted a question that asked about jet contrails since there is no way to prove that they have anything to do with MRSA outbreaks.

Everyone I have heard of having this problem uses drugs, or is in direct contact with someone who is or had previously did. Not connected just to IV users as most either smoke or snort the powder or "rock".

Didn't tell us anything further about it, nor did he do any swabs or anything. When I further researched it we wanted to have it confirmed by someone who knew what they were talking about so went to infectious disease Pediatrician, she took nose swabs and did blood work but all came back negative, no active boils at the time, on Saturday new boils came out (they're mini boils with no core/head just pus) on stomach to begin with, now upper thigh and bottom, I gave her a bath this morning and as I toweled her off, lots of pus came out of the one on her thigh. We have started her on the antibiotic they gave us now, but can she take turmeric at same time?'

3/20/2007: Phoenix (phoenixtyson@bellsouth.net) from Gulfport, Mississippi writes: "My story starts in November of 2002 when I had at the time a pimple that would not come to a head on my chin. Two days before the Thanksgiving holiday my pimple was now a boil so I took myself to a medical clinic. It was diagnosed as MRSA and I was given cipro to take for a week. I lanced the boil myself as it was painful to even talk let alone try to eat due the pressure of the built up puss. Before the pimple I had not injured myself at all. I cannot recall my diet and I had been in a Naval Hospital in Japan four years before the boil appeared and as for the weather I cannot recall. My story does not end with boil lancing as about one year later in December of 2003 I ended up in the hospital with an MRSA infection in my leg. There were no signs of outside injury and the doctors still do not know how the staph festered in my leg. It started like a pulled muscle in November of 2003 so I took it easy. The pain stayed steady for a while and was managed with aspirin. In December 2003 I had a fever of 104 degrees one night and took myself to the same medical clinic that treated my boil in 2002, the next day. I was seen and sent to the county hospital within ten minutes. To make a very long story short I had 2 operations and an open wound about 8 inches longs and 3 inches wide down to the bone. The infection had occurred between the muscle and bone as neither of these were directly affected or infected. The surgeon removed one-half gallon of puss and blood from the area. The wound was later treated with a wound-vac (for those that may not know this is a vacuum placed into the wound pulling fresh blood to enable faster healing.) I was then sent home with oral antibiotics as well as being on i.v. antibiotics while in the hospital. I have since had on average one to two boils per year at anytime of the year. Mostly the boils are on my face and therefore I do go to the clinic for antibiotics and pain medication. I have had two boils in my armpits that I have treated myself. I have asked these doctors how to finally rid myself of these infections and they have no answer. A nurse at this clinic gave me some advice once, the antibiotic topical solution is the key. She instructed me to put some on a qtip and run it inside my nose as the MRSA can live here. So I tried it and went more than 18 months without another boil. I had another boil in October 2006 and have started the antibiotic treatments to my nose once again. I use only antibacterial soaps and shampoos and I also keep natural remedies on hand. Unfortunately I think that once one gets MRSA one is stuck with although it is manageable. If anyone has any questions please feel free to contact me."

3/18/2007: Helpless from Rock Hill, South Carolina writes: "Questions 3 & 5. I got in a serious car wreck were I cut my leg (the same leg the boils started appearing) and had to be taken to the hospital by an ambulance. I believe the cut along with the trip to the ER really made this situation worse. I have been dealing with this problem since last year after I visited an abortion clinic in early 2006. I was using turmeric tea tree oil and lavender oil routinely for a few months and that cleared them up. However after the wreck they started flaring up again. I want to go see a doctor, but this condition I have is so embarrassing and doctors in the town I live in really don't know much about anything. Is there any other cure other than the ones I am using to get rid of this. Help please!!!!"

so my point is it's interesting to hear of a connection to southern cali. we've been eating better and doing regular fasts and liver flushes - i am slim and healthy otherwise (though i do binge on junk food here and there - working on cutting this out) i don't remember chemtrails specifically, but aren't they out there just about every day anymore? the boils did appear on previously injured places (like pimples, cuts, scrapes, or eczema sores)

Quest #2. I ate two things that I RARELY eat: Lunchmeat (ham and turkey) from a high quality local store and also had Dannon yogurt - one of the "fluffy ones" that has high fructose corn syrup. (I couldn't get away from work and someone else did the shopping) One nostril started really hurting within 24 hours and I've concluded it was a boil inside the nostril. It's still healing. I just happened upon your link today and I'm really glad I did.

I have never had anything like this ever before and it really startled me. I've been wondering if it was something in the lunchmeat or the yogurt or maybe a combination. I thought I had read somewhere that lunchmeat is now being spray with some kind of virus to retard spoilage.

I take all kinds of vitamins and supplements and haven't been ill (not even a cold) for several years. I happened to take some tumeric supplements (as well as colloidal silver) in an effort to cure myself. The tumeric was just a guess.

There was heavy chemtrail spraying around Dec 15th and the Michigan weather seemed to warm up for several weeks after that. My spouse (who is rarely ill) developed a cough around around Dec 22nd - and it only recently cleared up.

Thanks for gathering this information.

3/16/2007: M Luna (contractor_nola[at]yahoo.com) from San Juan Capistrano, California writes: OK, my situation is a little unique. My cousin-in-law contracted the boils first, passing it on to my husband -- this was in Bakersfield, CA. And they shared tattoo ink. I started getting them a few months later, in December. It doesn't rain much in Bakersfield, by the way. But our other cousin-in-law was fresh back from Iraq. Then my husband and I moved to New Orleans where we enjoyed a number of months free of boils. Then our cousin-in-law came to visit and the boils came back. I drove across the country with 3 of these boils on my back, at the site of a new tattoo. Now I'm in Orange County, CA. No new boils since the last ones healed about a month ago. I don't see a correlation with rain. Nor with medical clinics. Nor diet. For me, it's tattoos (not just openings on the body, because I've had those without suffering boils) and that disgusting cousin-in-law of mine, whose brother is a Marine. PS Fatty areas of the body seem to be more susceptible to outbreak."

3/16/2007: Tim from Nashville, TN writes: "I want to reply to a question about chemtrails/contrails. I started having migraines a few years ago, my son now has them and is practically disabled. Two children had MRSA this year, twice with boils. Doctors misdiagnosed it, wrong antibiotics may have made it worse. I see the chemtrails over the industrial area near the airport by work for years. I don't remember seeing them ever in my first 40 years of life. Finally last fall the sky over home was covered with thousands, last october. My kids have been sick since. It hasnt occured at home since. We only have very light airport traffic overhead, maybe 30 miles from airport. Planes only going straight into the airport, not any circling planes here. This day was a crisscross of thousands of chemtrails, early by 7:30 AM, they started before sunrise. I watched two black planes directly overhead exactly crisscrossing each other's trails within seconds. Without depth perception, being directly overhead, I couldn't tell their altitude seperation. It appears since the election it is curtailed. Congressman Dennis Kucinich is aware of this and entered legislation 2 years ago to outlaw it, his legislation was removed from the final bill.

It would be helpful if everyone contacted their congressmen and expressed that they want this stopped, we may get some help with a democratic congress now. I only have a koolaid drinking neocon to write to, will do nothing. This may be something to do with the honeybee die off too."

3/15/2007: Shane (shanus62@hotmail.com) from Melbourne, Australia writes: "Regarding boils: As a qualified acupuncturist i realise that boils relate to a damp condition of the body so it is no surprise that rain can precipitate an outbreak. Overwork and bad diet mostly causes it, greasy food and sugar. I had a bad outbreak a few years back, guilty of bad diet and overworking. After a while i found that taking cod liver oil capsules stopped further outbreaks (not if you are pregnant). Beta-carotene also worked though my system worked better with the oil. Wish i knew about turmeric back then, sounds like that would have worked a treat."

3/21/2007: C.J. from Niles, MI writes: "Late Dec '6, my 12 year old daughter had what she thought was a spider bite on her upper arm. Within five days it was larger than a golf ball and very painful. The first clinic doctor sent her to a specialist (!) because they didn't know what it was. She was given antibiotics the next day, and the "specialist" lanced the boil another 4 or 5 days later. Both my daughter & husband said the specialist was "grossed out" at the size and content of the boil. Aprox 3 months later, the lump is mostly gone but the skin around the area is still quite purple and bruised looking. I try to treat my family with natural medicine, foods, and herbs, and nothing we tried in the first few days helped at all. I find is alarming that the "medical professionals" also seem stumped as to what is causing these things and how to treat them. I have seen several of my 3 teenagers' friends w/ similar conditions since last year. One 16 year old girl was visiting last summer, showed me a similar huge boil in her groin area that she had taken repeated doses of antibiotics to treat her to no avail. I asked her if she was having reactions to the drugs, like yeast infections and digestive problems, which of course she was, as the doctors do not tell people of the reactions to these common drugs. I recommended she try acidophilus to help w/ the yeast problems, and gave her tea tree oil to apply to the boil which she later told me helped fasted than anything else she had tried, though she still has reoccurrences of numerous boils."

So I went to the dermatologist, who did not know what it was, but suspected a chronic infection of the hairs folicles and gave me some cream treatment for staph. The spot eventually disappeared for a while and reappeared two month later.I used that cream again and it seems now that I got rid of the problem. They are horrible, painful, and very embarrassing as they leave scars. I have no insurance and have treated all mine with the topical I mix (I did have one consult and the doctors only solution was lance it and give me antibiotics, I said no). Have not found a cure, but a topical I mix myself of a few drops of tea tree oil, a few drops of eucalyptus oil, a little colloidal silver and caster oil(as a carrier oil) put on a bandaid and cover boil, does seem to help bring it out sooner, and it stays much smaller. Got my first boil in 2004, since then they come and go.The first time, I used herbs (half-heartedly) and eventually got rid of them, but what a long, painful process! Then, I got a slew in my armpit, this time I went to the doctor who lanced them and gave me antibiotics. The antibiotics just chewed my system up. After getting through almost the whole bottle, I got a call from the lab saying that after getting the results from the cultures, that they had given me the wrong kind of antibiotic! They prescribed even stronger ones! I have suspected that the infection is in me, lying dormant until something triggers it. This time, I am going back to herbs, but I am going to follow through with a complete regimen and cleansing. I am using Burdock, Pau D'Arco along with mega doses of vitamins and externally using alcohol to cleanse and a tea tree oil antiseptic spray. I applied neosporin it continued to grow .Within 3 days the head of the boil grew to the size of a silver dollar with a huge redness around it ( the size of a basketball.) I went to the E.R. and was treated with an IV antibiotic as well as 2 oral antibiotics. The doctor lanced it and inserted a dressing inside the opening. I have never felt such pain. I had to go back to the ER every 3 days to have the dressing changed. It finally went away 3 weeks later. 3 months later another boil appeared under my right arm about the size of a quarter. I treated it with peroxide and neosporin. It finally cleared up.One month later another huge boil popped up on the inner right thigh. How do you stop this from reoccuring ?This is scary!"

3/12/2007: Bruce (bruceinman/at/yahoo/dot/com) from San Jacinto, Southern CA writes: "This is my family's first exposure to this issue. In Mid 2006 my 21 y/o son moved back home after struggling with a meth addiction in San Diego. During his using, he had went to the Dr. for an apparent spider bite. We later discovered that he was diagnosed with MRSA, which he failed to tell me and my wife before we let him move back home. 6 months later, we had his 2yr old son (our grandson) over and he had a boil on his leg. We called his mom out of concern and that's when we were informed of the MRSA that they had been spreading back and forth between each other for months. My son has since moved out. Question: Would it be safe to assume that if this is prevalent with meth users, that they are using intraveniously? A month later my 6 y/o daughter broke out with a boil. We went to the doctor and got the usual antibiotics. My wife treated her with extreme caution and her boil cleared up and hasn't reoccurred yet. Then, a week ago, my wife gets a boil on her hip. We are going to try the Turmeric and de-alkalization techniques described here. I just wanted to get this on here to assist with the tracking of this epidemic that has not been recognized by the medical community yet.

As far as the questions;
1. Yes, it rained a couple of days before.
2. Diet varies, not sure what was consumed prior.

I found the questions very interesting. I thought the connection was very optimistic."

3/10/2007: Martha from East Los Angeles, California writes: "BOTH ME AND MY 4 YEAR OLD HAVE GOTTEN THEM I DON'T RECALL IF IT WAS RAINING OR THE CONTRAILS IN THE SKIES BUT I STARTED WITH WHAT I THOUGHT AT THE TIME WAS A SPIDER BITE ON THE INNER THIGH AND POPPED IT. YA, I KNOW. ABOUT A WEEK LATER JUST BELOW IT, GOT ANOTHER ONE. THE DOCS SAID IT WAS A SPIDER BITE. MY SON SAID HE HAD A RASH AND WHEN I CHECKED ON IT IT WAS A BOIL I HAVE GOTTEN THEM UNDER MY ARMPITS IN 4'S AND THEN IN MY GROIN AREA AND ON MY BOTTUCKS, STOMACH AND MY SON HAS GOTTEN ANOTHER ONE IN HIS BUTT CHEEKS, DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO MY DOCS SAYS IT IS AN OUTBREACK IN LONG BEACH BUT WE ONLY GO THERE TO THE DOC'S AND THAT'S IT. MEANWHILE THE BOILS KEEP COMING.."

*** 3/9/2007: Andrea (celerycorduroy@yahoo.com) from Santa Barbara, CA writes: "I'm pretty certain that I got staph from a very bad scrape on my leg which was also immersed in a river for several hours. The wound got very infected - this all happened about a year & a half ago. The boils have gotten progressively worse ever since. Two weeks & two days ago I began taking the turmeric remedy, cut out sugar almost completely plus for those 1st 3 days I ate about 8 raw cloves garlic/day. Up until a couple of days ago when I had some Newmans' ABC (low sugar) cookies, the boils had almost completely disappeared. There are now at least 5 new ones so I'm wondering if it's safe to up the dose on the turmeric remedy. I started oil pulling this morning too. Anything advice you have is much appreciated."***

EC: Andrea, check out Ted's additional remedies for staph on the Q&A page here.

3/8/2007: Robert (robopegg@yahoo.com) from San Diego, CA writes: "awesome website with educated informed clients....any chance we can unite and fight against chemtrail spraying which in my opinion is the reason we are here in the first place. meaning every us state is sprayed causing increases in lung disease and many other serious conditions!!!"

3/5/2007: Debbie from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma writes: "None of the 3 questions were a factor for me. My first boil appeared in the fall of 2005. I've seen 6 doctors and done 2 different rounds of oral antibiotics & used steroid cream as well as antibiotic cream. Nothing stopped the boils. I was told by one of my doctors that the boils began when our first troops rotated back from Afghanistan in 2003. Community acquired MRSA is what they've called it."

3/4/2007: h. from Baltimore, Maryland writes: "I recently was diagnosed with MRSA. I got my first boil while visiting Los Angeles. After reading the graph here, I began to wonder and connect the outbreak with my visit..... I flew into LA on February 11 and noticed a large boil two days into my trip. Prior to landing it was raining quite a bit in LA. Once I returned home I noticed another boil, and then another. I had an outbreak which continues to persists and totals 7 boils, most of which mirror each other. I saw a physician and was diagnosed with MRSA. I am 23 years old, and do not have compromised health. Perhaps there is an LA connection, or not, but this is just my experience."

3/2/2007: Amy from Minden, NE writes, "I am starting to ingest vinegar many times a day and applying vinegar to the 4 carbuncles on my face. I just wanted you to know that it rained the day before my first carbuncle boil showed up. Now I have 4 a few days later. I plan on ingesting vinegar daily from now on. I know they will stop showing up but it probably was caused by the environment??"

2/28/2007: Gabby from Inglewood, CA writes, "IT RAINED 2 DAYS AGO. NO I DIDN'T PAY ATTENTION. MCDONALDS: COFFEE, EGGS, SAUSAGE AND MUFFIN"

2/27/2007: Wendy (newport7190@yahoo.com ) from Newport Beach, CA writes, "No rain, but very hot. Did not travel. Good diet. At Costco and as I was reaching in the cantaloupe crate I got a tiny scrape on my elbow. It did not bleed, but stung (that is how I found out it about it) A week later my elbow was very red, hot and sore. The next day I had 102 fever went to emergency room got a shot and they took a biopsy. The next day I had 105.4 fever and hallucinating and was admitted to the hospital. I had contracted a staph infection from the wood crate that holds the fruit (did not contract MRSA thankfully) and had surgery on my elbow. Was put on 2 very strong intervenes antibiotics (painful) and was released a week later. My elbow is still sensitive and although this happened last summer I get these small red bumps that don't heal on my back, shoulders and legs (where I shave) I feel like the staph is still existing and has not completely gone away. I'm looking for a way to heal without taking antibiotics any suggestions? "

2/27/2007: John Doe from San Francisco, CA writes, " 1. Was it raining or snowing the day before you got your first boil? Yes, Raining. 2. Did you notice jet contrail fumes in the sky the day following the bad weather? No. 3. What was your diet the days leading up to your first boil? Spicy food"

2/26/2007: EJ from Atlanta, GA: "This is not my first boil, but it is my first time looking it up on the web. I am in my mid 30's and I first started getting them in my early twenties. I used to get them every couple of months now it seems I get them near my period but not always. Particularly if I am stressed. But I did notice that we had a rain storm and we had not had any rain in the Metro Atlanta area in a while mind you the rain happened this weekend when the boil appeared. I was also eating a lot of dairy and had started eating a lot of wheat products lately, (I had started to cut back on the wheat products). I live 15 minutes from the airport however during the week I ride through the airport area during the week on my way to and from work."

2/26/2007: Anastacia from Ft Myers, FL writes, "1. don't really remember any rain before the onset of the boil. 2. there are always contrails in the sky here, we also live close to the airport. 3. nothing out of the ordinary diet which is pretty healthy."

2/25/2007: Emily from Bowen, Australia writes, "This is about my daughter's first boil. 1.Yes, it was raining the day before we first noticed the boil. We've had a lot of rain recently. 2.Didn't notice any jet fumes in the sky. 3.Yes, her diet in the past week has included more processed foods than usual."

2/23/2007: Kim from Northport, NY writes, "Raining the first time (just after Xmas), huge snowstorm when it recurred in the same spot (inner thigh) two months later (yesterday). Not sure what jet trails have to do with anything... but I live on Long Island -- there are always jet trails in the sky. I've been keeping a relatively healthy diet of late... lots of tofu, rice, chicken, and occasionally some sushi."

2/23/2007: Boil Boy from Los Angeles, CA writes, "It was raining before I got an outbreak of a number of small boils. Cannot remember if there were contrails. Diet is pretty good all the time. I was diagnosed with MRSA after having a horrific outbreak after being released from a stay in a hospital . I have had 2 outbreaks since each one not as bad as the previous ."

2/23/2007: Kerry from Port Huron, MI writes, "I have gotten two boils and one abscess over the past two months. Doctor says I'm healthy, so what gives? I don't know about the first two, but I just got a third boil and it has been raining. Have been eating Junk- cookies. "

2/23/2007: Erika from San Bernardino, CA writes, "
1. No it hadn't been raining before I got my first boil.
2. No Jet Contrails.
3. Yes. My diet is high in fat and junk food. I eat a lot of fast food."

2/20/2007: Linda from Waycross, GA writes, "No, it was not raining and no I did not notice contrail fumes in the sky. My diet consists of mostly baked or broiled meats, but I have eaten some fried foods. I am employed in a nursing home and last Sept. I developed a sore on my face between my nose and lip. The sore became infected. I was treated with antibiotics - 3 different kinds and it did not heal. The Dr. drained the area and it still did not heal. The Dr. said there was a hair follicle that became infected and he had to surgically remove it, sew it up with about seven stitches. He biopsied what he removed and it was a hair follicle Prior to this though, when he drained the area it tested positive for MRSA. This began about Sept. 12th and the sore did not completely heal until the end of November. The Dr. doesn't know how I contracted MRSA, even though I work in a nursing home. A week ago a boil formed on my bottom. I drained it and treated it with hydrogen peroxide and Neosporin. It has almost completely healed, but last Saturday, I noticed a sore area under my left arm. I have another boil developing there. It has not drained yet but it is sore and painful. It's probably the size of a nickel. I have read about home remedies on a web site and plan to fast change my diet. I do eat red meat and drink fruit juices. I also eat some fried foods, drink tea, coffee and use sugar. All of these things I have read are not good for my body and the info. suggests leaving these things off, which I plan to do. Also, if the last antibiotic the Dr. put me on (Vancomycin) had not worked, the Drs. next plan was to send me to the hospital for and IV antibiotic. Any other suggestions you might have to prevent these boils would be appreciated. I also purchased some sea salt and apple cider vinegar yesterday and mixed both in water and drank it. "

2/20/2007: Miriam from Fort Wayne, IN writes, "It was snowing just before I got the boil. There are many jets around our area lately, I live in Fort Wayne Indiana.. My diet has mainly been meat and cheese these past couple of weeks because I am pregnant and trying to not have to eat as often (helps me to not be hungry all the time)..I also ate some fish sticks...."

2/19/2007: Beverly from Colorado Springs, CO writes, "
1. Was it raining a day or two before the first boil appeared? No, it was snowing though.

2. Did you see jet fume contrails in the sky the day before the first boil appeared? Yes, but they are above every day.

3. Your diet the past few days before the boil appeared (over-doing the junk food, fried foods, etc.). No, I am a vegan that only eats organic raw and fresh foods."

2/19/2007: Michael from Steamboat Springs, CO: "I was just diagnosed with MRSA. This is the second MRSA in one year. My first contact with MRSA was community based and landed me in the hospital for 5 days. I completed a full series of antibiotics including Zyvox. With no issues for over 8 months including travel to Africa and Brazil. I just returned to Steamboat Springs, CO and with in 5 days I had the beginnings of my second MRSA. The weather has been cold and snowy. We do have constant contrails in the sky. It is well know that MRSA is in the community and could be widespread. I started taking BR+, a local herbal complex, as soon as I saw the "spider bite" and went to get tested 3 days after the first signs. BR+ www.yampavalleybotanical.com.

I read about turmeric and added it to my regimen. I am also starting a week of Zyvox due to the fact that I am feeling pain in multiple areas of my body. I will email the results as I go along. Michael"

2/13/2007: Nate from Hollywood, CA writes, "Live in Hollywood. Just got a boil 10 days ago. Progressively worse. Read your site. Just got the turmeric and put some campho phenique on. We'll see how it goes. Thought I'd let you know - as has rained here recently. Also seemingly a diet change of some junk food stuff. Will report back."

2/10/2007: Dana from Colorado Springs, CO writes, "I recently had a run in with boils appearing on my backside. It was new to me, I had never had a boil in my life before this. I tried all the traditional cures I could find and eventually stumbled upon your website, and started to use Turmeric with great success. Looking back on my lifestyle changes over the last few months I noted that I had been eating high fat greasy foods and during lunch and after work had been having mixed drinks with the mixer being coke, club soda etc. I stopped drinking the alcohol and soda and began consuming large amounts of water and taking turmeric and the boils went away. (oh a side note, I see contrails everyday in the skies above my town) Just as an experiment I went back to my unhealthy consumption and the boils came back..."

2/8/2007: Moira from Colorado Springs, CO writes, "Daughter came down with bad pylonidal cyst on 1/1 and 5 huge boils on buttocks and towards waist. ER lanced cyst and sent home. I was extremely careful on attending to her dressings (I'm a clinical lab. scientist). About 3 wks. later, I felt a small boil developing on my left arm and immediately applied a 90,000 heat unit cayenne pepper poultice. Applied these, alternating with pharmaceutical grade Lavender essential oil. Boil disappeared in about 3 days. About a week later, I felt a small, what I thought was a pimple on top of crotch. Should have treated as above, but waited and suddenly on the 3rd night there was a hard boil, about quarter sized in diameter. I have been soaking it in hot water with Celtic sea salt, cayenne and lavender. It's about half the size now. Began taking turmeric tonight, after finding this web site. My daughter's doc assured her they aren't contagious(not surprising!) I don't go to doctors as I lost faith in the "practice" of medicine a long time ago. We had a snow when this all occurred; didn't notice any unusually contrails (have seen the Fer de Lance pattern that people worry about at other times - not recently); don't eat junk food. We have noticed high pollution in the city, this winter."

3/1/2007: Moira writes again: "A follow-up on daughter's and my boils here in Co.Springs. I went to a doc-in-the-box and asked for a culture and sensitivity on the boils and on my hands, as the staph I got in lab would no longer clear with Keflex or Erythromycin. Unfortunately I was correct and it's all MRSA. We're using Mupirocin ointment for 5 days in nares and on breakouts and Trimethoprin/Sulfamethoxasole, 2X day. Doctors here said MRSA is now in the general population and becoming common, especially in construction workers. Docs should be more concerned here than they are. In CA, my friends say they treat the boils as a more serious infection and worried about how contagious it is and resistance developing." "

2/7/2007: Shelly from Portland, OR writes, "I have a boil. Nope it wasn't raining. No jets. Yes junk food. Will try turmeric."

2/7/2007: Linda from Austin, TX writes, "Wanted to let you know about another place where recurrent boils are happening. In early January, I had a boil on the left side of my stomach that the doctor decided was MRSA. I took antibiotics, and I thought I was fine. About 3 weeks later, I had another boil (this one EXTREMELY painful) on the right side of my stomach. More antibiotics - this time, two at once plus Bactroban in the nose. The doctor said that Austin is seeing a lot of this right now, for some reason. He said the CDC actually investigated our area because of the number of outbreaks. And, coincidentally enough, in answer to the question on your website, we DID have a very heavy rainfall the weekend I contracted the 2nd boil. I remember it distinctly, because many people were flooded in their homes one day."

2/6/2007: Laurie from North Hollywood, CA writes, "i am answering your questions: yes, it rained 3 or 4 days ago and i live right next to the Burbank Airport and i have this huge boil that started growing on my chin 3 days ago and it is very painful. i am on my way to get some turmeric, i will let you know how it works"

2/5/2007: Ruth from Lawrenceville, GA writes, "I had an infection on my leg this last summer and my doctor lanced it and put me on the mrsa antibiotics. I thought it was over but just recently I got another under my arm a little past the hair line. I have read about the turmeric and will try anything. I prefer herbal remedies because my body dos not take the synthetic med that the hospitals dish out well at all I just started the turmeric today and can already feel the difference. Also It has rained here for the last few days b4 the place under my arm appeared and that causes the planes at the near by airport to fly lower. Last summer when my leg was infected it was also raining during the first few days of noticing the infection. I grew up with a Indian grandmother and we never took OTC meds but we were never really sick for more than a day or so either. I am thankful for this website"

1/30/2007: Marni from Costa Mesa, CA writes, "It has been very cold and rainy here lately. Not sure about jet trails though. I've never had anything like this. One large quarter size red spot on my inner thigh near genitals. I'm not sexually active. What could it be?"

1/20/2007: Mona from Cleveland, OH writes, "1. Not sure as I've had them for 325 consecutive days. 2. Not sure, but will be more observant. 3. Nope. I eat pretty good...don't really like fast-food or junk food. Eat them in moderation. I love meat, but I also love vegetables (raw, steamed or sauteed) fish (broiled, steamed or sauteed - seldom fried)and I don't ever drink soda or sweet drinks. I don't like sweets, not even chocolate (unless it very dark). I only drink water or wine..probably too much wine (ha). Today, I am trying Turmeric for the 1st. time. I will document my journey. My current course of action is just to keep the area clean."

1/27/2007: Nichole from Cleveland, OH writes, "Hi, This appears to be my first time with what I hope is a boil. It was not raining, actually it has been snowing here in Ohio. I am not certain if I noticed jet fumes in the sky, but I do live close to an airport. My diet has actually been eating less that normally and nothing I am doing out of the ordinary that is why I am confused on why I got this. I drink lots of water so I don't know, I just wanted to send my feedback, hope one of your remedies work!!!"

1/17/2007: Lis from Escanaba, MI writes, "I've just developed a large boil on my left buttock. I don't even remember the last time I had anything like this, but oddly enough I bought some turmeric last week so I'm going to take some before I go to bed.

(1) No rain, but we got about 3 in. of snow the other day.

(2) Did not notice any contrails. Live in a low air traffic area (very low)

(3) Have been eating very healthy especially in last 2-3 weeks, whole grains, fruit, lots of veggies and zero fried foods. "

1/10/2007: Louis from Shanandoah, TX writes, "About three or four weeks ago I noticed jet streams going north and south and east and west from my house. being I live ten miles from a major airport, I didn't give it much thought. It rained that evening and the next day a Saturday my son and I were cleaning up around the pool area. the next day I noticed what appeared mosquito bites on may arms and legs, three days later I had sores (30r4) around the groin area and I itched all over. I thought I might have gotten bit by something .I put Neosporin on but it did not help . I went to the doctor's and was told it was shingles, he gave anti bio's and sent me home. I went the following week and the PA said it looked better and said not to use anti bio any longer. the next week three boils broke out out on leg head and groin area, which on the third visit he had to lance. which was yesterday. I started researching and ran across this article."

1/10/2007: Heather from Snellville, GA writes, "It was raining heavily within the last couple days. The boil appeared yesterday as what I thought was a pimple or bug bite on my elbow. I tried to pop it (didn't know better) and a little greenish pus came out. Later I noticed it was feeling tight and sore, so I went to look in a mirror and pop it again. All I got was a little clear liquid. Now it is big, feverish and inflamed. I spent all night with it throbbing and stinging, so I tried to put gauze and Neosporin on it. I just started tea tree oil and lavender, and will try turmeric pills if I can find them."

1/8/2007: Lori A from Minneapolis, MN writes, "1. Answer: Yes, we had rain for a couple days before the boil appeared. 2.Answer: Yes, actually, I had seen at least 2-3 jets in the sky which I thought was somewhat unusual to see that many in a day...(hmm) 3. Answer: Fatty foods (ie: chips, tacos, etc..)"

1/3/2007: Barbara writes, "... About the chem trails. I briefly read about them on a website about a year ago. Couldn't believe it, didn't want to, but really I did because of things I've witnessed before. Such as UFO in 1975 in Norfolk Virginia hovering silently right over my apartment building for a few minutes, then took off like lightning, zig zagged in the night sky and vanished.

I don't put it pass our government to do anything to us! I believe the UFOs are our government, perhaps others, but not from outer space. They are not little green men, they are real men who are evil enough to experiment on us any way they choose. There's something very familiar about these chem trails and UFO reports.

Experiments are experiments and our gov has and still does! But about the chem trails I saw, (I am always looking up ever since that first encounter). On 10/09/2006 in Fort Worth Texas my husband and I made one last stop in the evening to Panda Express. We had been eating very healthy for a few weeks and felt great! But....after eating at Panda Express, we got real sick real fast! Just before bed I got horrible cramps and diarreah for hours! I felt like I was dying! It was not food poisoning like I've got that before, but I didn't know what it was so I did some research the next day and found out that it was MSG poisoning! At least that is what I thought. I had a fast heart rate with MSG before but not this! I was so mad! Both my husband and I were sick for days! Especially me at first. Mine lasted over a week with headaches and extreme weakness, running nose and sneezing so hard my sides ached in pain. Then we just happened to hear on local news channel that the mold count in our area was extremely high, about four or five thousand pores per square meter! That's when I remember looking up in the sky several times during that week we ate at Panda Express and noticed how crazy the clouds looked. They were zig zagged and puffed and just chaotic. I wondered, Oh my God, could it be true? Could they be dumping chemicals on us? I heard many planes overhead my neighborhood and saw many as I ventured outside. I told my husband and he didn't say much. Not until now. Now he's hooked up to an IV fighting for his life! Now he realizes that they probably did dump on us because of what he read on this website and how he's been affected. He's got the staph infection in his leg and the red spots all over his body. I believe it also rained that day, well actually it "misted" and I have never been misted in Texas ever in the 10 years I've lived here! I had a strange feeling to get inside away from it.

I now believe that the MSG made us very sensitive to the fungus' and chemicals, perhaps staph they dropped on us. Find out for yourself what MSG does to your nervous system! And it is in EVERYTHING we buy! THAT makes me angry! The FDA is experimenting on us folks! That's why there are so many deaths and at such younger and younger ages. It's really population control when it all boils down to it. It is also because of the evil, present in the minds and hearts of those who are killing us for profit! Yes, I believe what is hap penning is because of our government and I warn us all, "Get out of Babylon, or get out of harms way if you can." Don't drink the tap water and perhaps not even bathe in it. Use distilled water for bathing. Please pray for my husband. We still have much work to do for God. God bless and keep everyone safe."

1/1/2007: Marilyn from Temple, GA writes, "I am going to try the turmeric -- as well as ACV -- as soon as I can get to the store. Anyway -- I am 53 yrs old (female) and my complexion has looked good for the past 20 yrs. Last week -- have a rainy Christmas -- a sore pimple popped up on my face -- and the next day 2 more appeared - after looking at your site here I think these are boils, as they are hard and are sore. We've had a long spell of fairly dry weather until Dec. 25 -- and it's been raining for 3 out of the past 7 days. My face looks awful. Oh -- and I live in an area that has quite a bit of air traffic, on it's way to the Atlanta airport. So - I am hoping to get some relief with the cures you recommend here."

12/12/2006: Lee from Vinings, GA writes, "I think it was Thanksgiving Weekend Friday that it rained. The following day was gorgeous, however the skies overhead were covered in contrails.  2 days later boils started to appear on both my boyfriend and myself:  For me, 2 itchy boils appeared on my chest, for him it was on the side of his neck. I took turmeric right away. He refused, thinking it was a large pimple. My boil disappeared overnight while his grew .  A few days later, more boils started to appear down his neck. At that point I MADE him take turmeric in water.  The smaller boils healed up overnight but the large one is still healing after 2 weeks now.  He thinks the outbreak happened after a week of junk food during the holidays (lots of chocolate). I think it may have had to do with the rain and contrails.  If there are any more people in this area of Georgia with boils, please let me know!  One more note: we live very close to an Air Force base which had a lot of cargo planes flying overhead that particular Saturday."

1/9/2007: Marysa from Nassau, Bahamas writes, "I am writing b/c you ask questions regarding heavy rain before first boil outbreaks. I was confined in my house during a hurricane in 2004. Afterwards I was in the yard cleaning up all the debris. About 6 days later first boil appeared. Got quite large to golf ball size. Was lanced 2x by Dr.s. Took antibiotics, etc. all sorts of Dr.s advice. To no avail, gave up on conventional medicine. Have consistently had boils since then although they have gotten smaller and more plentiful. Have always been convinced that the hurricane gave me the condition (you know, stirring up bacteria). This is first site that mentions heavy rain and outbreaks/ am interested in more info."

10/27/2006: Noelle from Nashville, TN writes: "I developed what I first thought was a series of spider bites on the side of my leg next to my knee. Then I got one on my buttocks which hurt. I got a friend to squeeze it, which was not just painful, but I later found out was very dangerous. I later developed small boils on my face and the final straw was a cluster of 4 under my armpit. I finally saw a doctor who prescribed me Doxycilin. That was about a month ago..and I don't know if its irony or what, but the first round of boils occurred about 2 weeks after some significant rain. Now a month later, it began raining a couple of days ago and is pouring today...and guess what, the scar on the buttocks from the first outbreak...is now becoming a boil again. GEEEEEZ LOUISE! So I'm heading to the pharmacy to get a refill of antibiotics. Will keep you posted."

12/20/2006: Jim from Olean, NY writes, "i have had boils or carbuncles since i was 18 months old (yes months) most develop on or around my back side and have gotten as big as a silver dollar,i have had them lanced, tried drawing salve, hot compress and almost every other remedies you have in your list except the turmeric ,but i'm starting that today because i have a new one( same old place) i have to deal with at least one a year and would be very happy to find a cure. the doctors have giving me antibiotics, but they didn't help. I believe that they are possibly inherited because my father also had a problem with them also but not as bad as me. he thought they were caused by some types of soda if he drank root beer he would develop one ,no root beer no boil. My soda problem is orange soda -- if i drink one within 24 hours i get a boil and within another 24 hours it grows to 2-3 inches across. It may be in the air but for my family it seems to be in the blood or the soda."
